the best explanation of options on youtube, hands down. please consider diving into the more complicated options i.e iron condor, butterfly, covered calls, spreads etc.. either way, thank you for this one James.

Just ran across your channel (subbed now) looking at the Odyssey Ark setup, I'm just learning about options and have come to realise i'd never want be involved in the stock market without understanding options (buying and selling insurance on the shares). I've begun paper trading to practice this prior to going live and paid for some proper courses. I'd be interested in seeing your take on this.

Can you buy both at a later expiration date and just take profits when one goes up and the other one goes down ? I’m guessing that would just require a lot of money

Hey James.. just subbed, love your content. Question - when you first started daytrading, how long did you first paper trade for before jumping into live trading? I'm in the westcoast and have a full time 9-5 so can only get in 1hr a day of trading... and in evenings I spend a lot of time learning. How long do you recommend I paper trade? Thanks!

Lets say I bought a call option, the price of the share increases. How do I buy the share for the set price and then sell that share in order to get the profit?

i don't really understand the concept of selling puts on the way down to $35. wouldn't you want to buy puts on the way down to 35 and sell those options + buy a bunch of shares at 35 if that was your plan?
I agree, but the broker will charge you overnight fee for your stocks as well, so if you hold for 1 or 2 months you will have to pay overnight fee for the entire period.
