Written by Luke Byrne and Cairns elder Gudju Gudju, Stormbird weaves together traditional Yidinji songlines, Byrne's own original composition and choreography by Sani Townsend to create a work of enormous narrative and musical scope.
Performed as part of Songs of my Country at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall by Gondwana Indigenous Choir, conducted by Lyn Williams.

It is wonderful to have an inclusive choir. It is wonderful to see the beautiful storm birds singing too :)
