Imagine a remake of these episode ideas with today's special effects but with the same designs of the original. That would be so cool! I really wish that was given to someone in the right hands to do for a new audience but with the same classic styles and flare.
Trouble is, filmmakers rely too much on CGI these days. New Knight Rider, if there ever will be any, should have real driving done by somebody like late Ken Block, and a sleek, aerodynamical car, like the old T/A. Interestingly the 3rd gen T/A is one of the most aerodynamically efficent production cars up to this day. Most current cars actually have a lot worse drag coefficient.
essa cena da super máquina com maycon e kitt marcou ha minha história que está guardada na minha lembrança saudades dos amigos maycon naitte e kitt meus heróis ❤❤❤
In the early seasons, Turbo Boost seemed to alternate between KITT jumping and getting a burst of speed, depending on the requirements of the script! I'm glad this was removed in Season 3 onwards in favor of KITT doing jumps.
If I remember it's mentioned earlier in this episode that KITT was overheating, so this would suggest KITT had active vents. Kinda fits what they did. Untill season 3, those covers would actually move with strike of wind. Later they were replaced by shaped bumper, and in season 4 deleted completely.
They were simply different cars 😉 The added on vent covers would move in the wind, so on the stunt car with it’s high speed driving they would either tape them to the bumper or remove them. The car in the end was the hero car and always looked pristine (it was lightly used, although it did do the burnout as Michael takes off in the beginning of the scene. You can recognize the hero car because it actually has the full KITT dashboard. The other cars didn’t have that).
That’s one strong shrubbery to flip a car
Great Chase and Cool KITT 🚗🚘 😎

Obviously can see a ramp put in the tree, after that automobile crash
Wow! Jean Bruce Scott is looking very beautiful and gorgeous! 😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤
Is she the granny?
Why was the car upright and motionless at 2:16 but overturned at 2:23?
Typical 80s attention to detail. Or should I say, a complete lack of it.
Is that Hasselhoff and not a stunt driver doing a burnout at the start ?
Hasselhoff can do a lot of stunts if I remember right.
The wasn't a cut in the film, so it does look like Hoff did it.
Did the granny really do a 180?
There was a hidden driver behind David alot. That's how it looks like Kitt drives himself when he pulls up and gets in...or out
@@showcasecharlie11 This was the hero car though (it had the full dashboard), not a blind drive car. So it really was Hasselhoff 😉
@@Theratron 😂😂😂your comment literally has no value to the conversation. 😉😉
I like kitt
Did anyone notice how the pave highway turned into a dirt road after they crossed the county line?
Like it was from the Dukes set or something.
That's not "The Topaz Connection"! It's the episode where at the end Michael Knight is given a free Bible and KITT asks Michael to read it to him.
Caitlin from AIRWOLF 👍
Yeap, but this is before she star on AIRWOLF though, about a year and a half.
1:04 Isn't Turbo Boost supposed to jump?

The show would benefit from a studio remaster. Then they could sort out wrong insert shots of the wrong button.
He wasn’t holding down the SHIFT key.
@@AchtungBaby77 It was useful in both ways during action.
I kind of like the look of KITT without the light covers. LOL Sneaky how they added them in the last shot.

@@Theratron That's the only episode when they were removed.
Roscoe and Enos bumbling as usual.
The cognitive dissonance of seeing MK without his leather jacket.
back in the early eps when they still called KITT a black Trans Am
