We warned you.
President Trump warned you.
You didn't listen.
Sucks to be you.
New york is a major issue period...But please dont leave new york , no one wants you to leave new york.......period ......stay there and put up with the crap you asked for.......
Right! Don't move somewhere else and fvck up that city too. 😏😂
Please say this again for the people in California too. Because both Cali and New York crap is spreading all across in other states.
Florida just passed a law that's locking these types of criminals up in the jail.
The Wolves are in the Chicken Coop breeding like bunny rabbits with free housing, health care, food etc
Someone was just telling me the other day how this is a victimless crime. They couldn't believe that package theft causes things like inflation and increased delivery costs. 🤦♀️
But people get their medications delivered to them.
Stop telling them to move out of NYC. They voted for this, let them enjoy it...... I don't want them in my state. I like my home state RED.
Exactly. Liberals are so stupid that when they do leave they take their crap voting with them - they aren't capable of linking the consequences of their voting to their votes.
Right they need to stay in the North
This mess is coming to every state in USA weather you voted or didn't vote lol
The REAL backstory for NYC in the Escape from New York. At some time it just became easier to airdrop in criminals to get rid of them. 😂
After 9/11, there was a mass exodus of people fro NYC to surrounding areas - the Pocono Mts (Pennsylvania) had such an influx that they had to raise taxes and build multi-million dollar schools for the new hood rats living in the country. Fast forward from 2002 to a few years ago (right before COVID) and they all decided to go back to the city after a decade or so. That left the locals with all these new schools and infrastructure to pay for (massive new taxes) and the people who caused it were now leaving! THEN, COVID strikes and they move back to the more rural or suburban areas... each time diminishing greatly the quality of life in the town they move to... like locusts or fire ants.
if you go to a pick up facility, you might as well buy your stuff at a store. The whole point of online purchases is the convenience of having them delivered to your door.
We cannot have speciality stores everywhere, they goes out of business if they do not get enough customers. They can deliver packages though. Just stop dropping the packages off unguarded outside people's homes.
That guy that was arrested when the guy with the baseball bat caught him was probably released less than 2 hours later.
defend yourself or your property means you go to jail, criminals run the show while the blue ties cheer them on.
Most of those ppl don’t look like migrants most look African American and white 😂 blame the migrants for everything smh 🤦♂️
What about if it's the other way around what happens then
Hold these criminals accountable 😡
The problem is horrible in CA, particularly after they stopped prosecuting crime. The last 2 years I lived in CA, I received packages for all my neighbors because I am disabled and home all the time. I could not get out of CA fast enough.
You’re a beautiful soul. Bless you 🙏🏾♥️. That
The problem with the delivery hubs is that you can be a victim there as well - when you pick up your package.
True but then it becomes a robbery. Robbery is a worse crime.
Your videos and commentary are really really good. By far the best commentating channel on RUclips
Isn't mail theft a felony?
ONLY IF YOU GET CAUGHT!
I think that only applies to USPS packages and mail.Private companies like UPS and FedEx don’t fall under this.
Texan here.
You asked for this.
You have no one to blame but yourselves.
Next time you feel like virtue signaling, remember this.
NYC especially, we don't have this problem in buffalo and rochester
Yet.....
Don't drop packages at homes. And homeowners time to arm things so the thieves suffer for their actions.
I'd rather go to the store anyway. Online shopping is too hit or miss.
Exactly my business has a large package drop off box I built, I leave the top door open with a keyed lock open sitting on top with a note to leave packages in the box and use the open lock to lock it. Haven’t had any packages stolen, ever in 15 years of business. This is an easily preventable situation, people are mostly too helpless and lazy to try and figure crap out. If you get more than one package stolen at two different times, that’s on you at that point.
They already have package delivery boxes with locks.
I buy everything online except for food and have been doing this for as long as Amazon has existed. I live in southern Indiana. I’ve never lost a package due to theft. No one dares do things like this here. I cant really relate to this problem. It’s too incredulous to imagine that anyone is so daring to commit a crime in broad daylight. So while rural life is not everyone’s cup of tea I relish the life of peace and safety here and one still has access to everything people enjoy in a metro city. We just plan our trips when the time is right. It’s just toomuch stress on a daily basis just losing any of your package and the hassle of dealing with it. What if it’s your medication that you need to take to literally keep you alive? Blood pressure pills diabetes meds etc etc? ☹️😔😖
WOW. I didn’t think people like you existed. You must live in an alternate universe because I’ve been to many states and life is not this blissful. Honestly you have me prepared to start looking at property in Indiana, I’ve gotta see this place!
And if you ‘booby trap’ a package injuring one of ‘our’ poor, defenseless, innocent, little babies, who grew up without a father in the home, you’ll be prosecuted.🤷🏼🙄
You can't just leave everytime something goes wrong. How about staying in your State and dealing with your problems instead of running away
Sometimes you have to leave places like NY because you cannot afford 4000 for a studio. Sorry.
Why I am so glad to live rural, still!!! More you see the crap going on in our metro areas!!!!! Plus a lot cheaper to! Only trespassers I deal with are deer, squirrels, cats, and occasional fox!!!!
I’ve had to ship things to my workplace cause it’s safer to do that. I had meds sent to my apt once, a homeless man was able to get to it by pretending to help someone with groceries, then grabbing it on the way out, thankfully my neighbor caught them.
It’s either this or I have to place a hold at location so it doesn’t get stolen. I think it’s wild that I have to do that and still pay all this rent for an unsafe property. What’s sad to me also is this is a societal problem, an issue of moral corruption, cause we should be able to leave a package somewhere with the expectation that people will say to themselves, that’s not mines and I shouldn’t touch it cause it obviously belongs to someone.
Someone needs to do something about our judicial system. The theft is way out of control. Can't go to the store due to them closing from theft and can't order online due to porch pirates. WTH!
As a current mail carrier(USPS, Georgia) I can assure you, criminals are starting to say forget the porch and they'll straight up rob the carrier. I was robbed at gunpoint twice on my route. Didn't take anything personal from me just most of my parcels. As far as delivering to your backyard, that poses a safety hazard for us. Too many unknown unknowns. We don't know what could be going on in your backyard or what's back there. (dogs etc). So yeah we will deliver to the most convenient drop off location which is usually the front door😅
Amazon gives delivery times. Make sure someone you trust is there to receive your package! And make sure all deliveries need to be signed for!
That still depends on the driver. You can do that and still not all of them will notify you it's X number of stops away or delivered, or sign for. Some still will drop them at the edge of the porch to have to avoid those 5 steps and they don't care.
It’s happening everywhere. I’m in Az and it’s super bad here.
Tell it to the clown.
He invited the workers for his circus
I suggest you move far from blue cities, which are most big ones
Then they vote blue in red areas, they just don’t learn and ruin it for the rest of us 😡they need to stay where they are
I had neighbors who were in a package watch group with me. They moved last year, and I miss that feeling of security
They will steal the metal boxes. They already take entire ATM machines 😂.
I love where I live, small town, nice people, we don’t have to lock our cars when we run into a store. I see this stuff and I wonder who wants to live like that? I went to NY years ago, stayed there for 11 days too long, what a colossal waste of money. I will never go back to that dirty smelly superfund site.
The company that is delivering the packages should call the people and let them know that the package is on its way, just like when you call and get a pizza delivered.
Most people work during delivery times
In the UK they will not leave a package unless they hand it over personally, they take it back to the distribution hub and try again the next day, they also drop you a text telling you when the delivery time will be
Tracking....?????
I don’t know if Amazon is different in NYC but here in Niagara Falls, NY, they don’t even knock or ring the doorbell. Unless you are constantly glued to your phone, a lot of time you don’t even see the delivery notification until some time later.
My big ole dog announces any visitors and answers that door right quick!!
I live in the U.K. and I’ve had some of my deliveries stolen and at times it’s been the delivery driver who’s taken it.
American states is going through all kind of crazy mess.
Oh we in South Africa have bn forced to live with this behavior for 30yrs now.
Even if it's bolted down changes nothing.
One can't even hang your washing on the line to dry they even steal that.
Some folks standard of entitlement.
🤮
I stopped using Amazon for this reason. Until they figure it out, I won't use delivery services.
I haven’t dealt with much theft, but have had two packages go missing during transit. That’s got me thinking that mall shopping is just far more superior.
They let the guy he caught go, im sure, so pointless.
AMEN BROTHER 🙌 "POWER TO THE PEOPLE" ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
🥷
I saw a video of a dude who somehow rigged up shotgun shells in a box. It wasn't dangerous. It just made them go off and scared the hell out of people.
They also be taking people's packages and also can sell them
You cant tell me the video with the suspect in trash bag wasnt obvious, they were wearing house slippers. It wasnt a kid and you can tell its a neighbor. Lol i mean ur not going far in them things.
They vote what they get
Man is now in prison for entrapment while the suspect is sueing for stress
NYC is reverting back to what it was like in the 70’s and 80’s
This is facts lol the crime rates in the 80s were wild !!
I left Queens New York a few years ago because it was just getting so awful. There used to be a lot of nice places in Queens where someone with a modest income could afford to live, but those places aren't very nice anymore. And I can imagine it's even worse today.
Yeah then the lockers will be an extra charge or a subscription service. Problem, reaction, solution, profits
It’s coming to the point where vigilantes are having to step up to stop criminals. The legal system needs to not punish these vigilantes.
We had a neighborhood porch bandit who followed the USPS and Amazon trucks waiting for the drop off.
Great content, great awareness and yes, I agree. You don’t approach the thief because you never know what can happen in that situation especially if you are not trained to deal with people it’s something you might want to think about another thing is a big problem going on because I hear it all the time, I live in an apartment building and there has been a lot of complaints when I get a package delivered to my door. I make sure that I’m home for that delivery. If I’m not home then I won’t have it delivered at that time. I’ll have it delivered at a time that I am home, that’s how I get my packages there. I’m there for my packages. I should feel safe. There’s cameras everywhere but these people seem to not care about cameras. They do it anyway, and they still have their face and poster posted up as a package thief right on the door, so everybody can see, they don’t even wear a mask so the whole thing is it could be your neighbor asking a friend to do it. That’s what I was thinking about because not everybody is all right so I’m happy they got the cameras and I’m happy that they work because I remember those faces, the best thing is that they actually have these boxes and lockers and if I were to order something and I know I’m not gonna be there I would have it or one of these lockboxes or somebody that I know that’s gonna be home at that time, I don’t want no excuses Yes some packages are just too big because I have a mailbox and a lockbox for packages and a person would leave me the key in my mailbox so when I open my mailbox all I gotta do is use the key to open the lock box that’s right below my mailbox.
Hi, Im just here because the algorithm wants me to be afraid.
I haven't seen one of your videos in a year.
Excellence in action as always My WATCHMAN brother 🥷
A drop box for package delivery like the post office would save so much headache. Ironically for small things, the post office is still the safest option.
My problem has not been my packages …. It has been the package delivery box that WAS on my porch … it was STOLEN TWICE…. The 1st had bricks in it to weigh it down and also I’m thinking it would be left alone 😒 the took the bricks out AND the package and put them aside and took only what they came for …. The second time I placed a big boulder in it apparently they just turned it on its side and shimmied the boulder out …. I bought ANOTHER one over a year and half ago … it’s still in the box it came in inside the door
That is so sad but nothing's new under the Sun.
Like Solid Snake hiding in a card board box hiding from enemies 😂
About 2:30 - we have those in California at our postal box in our neighborhood. They still get hit. Our cameras are on all around the neighborhood so we alert each other when it happens, but they find a way to break into those too. The only solution is just constant vigilance of the ring. :/
Have the package(s) delivered to a post office or the location of the delivery service.
Sickening. New Law: if you steel & are on any kind of assistance, it stops.
Here in the UK, local stores will store packages until customers collect them
I resent the leave NYC and let The Riff Raf keep it reference. I fight for my home and property. Thank you very much!
There's no reason for these extremes, they have drop off/pick up boxes if you're one to order a lot but are never home. Ask your neighbors if they could accept it.
That kind of blatant theft would rightly make people crazy.
A PO box costs $30 a month. Then only the postal workers will occasionally steal from you.
Got so bad, at my apartment building, I had to purchase a package delivery box. They just came out with them so some dumb delivery workers will put your package outside of the box.
We maybe busy individuals, but if we all looked out for each other in our communities it wouldnt be one person on the look out.. always when u have time look out for your neighbours protect the love n kindness that can be found in most of us
This why you have it delivered to a lockbox
And for people ( like say elderly, disabled), who can't get to lockboxes?
This is why I try to go pick up in person and or shop in person. I know how this feels.
I am still buffeled how is leaving a package at the door considered as delivered in america, that is totaly different to how it works in my home country, delivery guy always calls and gives the package to a person only, if not, he keeps it takes it back to depo, if he leaves it unatendet anywhere, its delivering company problem, this what you have there is NOT delivery system at all
In the UK they won’t leave packages on your doorstep they take them back and try to deliver them again the next day or get a neighbour to sign for the package
Have to get rid of brick and mortar stores and get mail order. Have to build a cement box that can't be pulled open with a vehicle for delivery.
It might be time to get an Amazon box… it’s inconvenient, but at least your packages will be locked in a locker until you pick it up
What really bugs me is the delivery people most often leave the package at the front door 🚪 instead of at the side or less visible spots.
They also know the person isn't home most times.
For some reason, I find it a challenge to feel any compassion for New Yorkers' plight. Get woke go broke?
Golocker. ????? Now the robbers wait for it to be collected. Hahaha.
This makes me happy I am the way I am. Im medically retired from the military and I'm a hermit. Because I recognize this, I make it a point to always leave the house to get something. Also let's me socialize.
Don’t worry Amazon will create a personal lockbox to charge prime members that can only be opened via your app to receive your packages monopolizing once again
As was stated in this coverage, pick up your bulk packages at the UPS Store or get a Mailbox with USPS and pick up bulk packages there, problem solved.
Damn that Mr. Bloyd gets the best videos.
It might be helpful to pay for a P.O box at the post office. Then, you can have your items safely delivered there and you can retrieve them with no problem.
FedEx and UPS always deliver packages to my back door even though I don't tell them to.
I don't use the store pick up option. They open it then say it was an accident.
Those thieves are actually amateurs. Because over here in my town, back in rhe day... if it was a beer truck....soon as that man brought that delivery into the store, we were looting that beer truck. That's why they changed there. Policies and have the drivers close the doors after they get their load to bring into the store.... We were kids and it was in the early 90's.... But we damn sure did it... I was surprised they aint looting the truck while the drivers up by the stairs.
At 2:56 he describes a mailbox 😅
That steel box idea was on hit, better yet why not just get them to drop your package off on the moon, there are no porch pirates up there.
You can have packages delivered into your garage if you have a newish system
1:02 What the hell are cameras gonna do, that is when you need to get a Bang band to protect your shit.
Mail box’s with package delivery box’s already exist
Oh I get it if people are stealing your stuff you're going to go to Great Lengths to make sure they don't
I never thought of it like that it’s true we’re ordering what we want. Sometimes I order like something so small that if somebody was to take it I mean it’s like a five dollar item that I paid for or a $10 item but I haven’t lost anything so far I’m crossing my fingers, but I have never looked at it like that.
People have to protect their stuff. No law in N Y to help them. This is going to happen more and more.
The porch pirate has slippers on WATCH.
They do make these steel boxes, and they sell them at home depot XD
As stores are shut down from crime.. more people are going to need delivery. And that's even easier then robbing a store blind. Just wait behind a delivery driver and you don't even have to look for the packages.
Nyc, Cali and Portland....Hey, You hot what you VOTED for...
denmark had delivery of packetes in shops and such for many years.. even tho theft from property is rly rare.. i still geet packet put right at my door steep.. newere had it stolen right inside the town lol..
Oddly enough, stealing random packages might be more addictive than stealing with intent due to casino like atmosphere of real life random loot boxes. It's the same mechanism they use for online games.
