    Hello, I live in Mexico and I have a 2017 Maxima. I have a problem, I lost the SD card. I tried to purchase it but the dealer told me it costs about 1000 USD (really 1k!). I think it would be easier if I buy a used one on ebay but it would be a used part of an american nissan Maxima. @GoAutoSound just said in another comment that there shouldnt be any coding required, does anyone (or maybe you @GoAutoSound) knows if i can install a radio of a different year? especially because 2018 o 2019 radio does not need any sd card. Thank you for your support and for your great video

      @alaaalsharif2945 I know 19 up to 22 are the same, but 23 may be different
      If the plugs are the same, you may want to plug in and try it

    When Replacing that radio is it just a regular replacement where you just Connect the new radio? Or do I have to have some type of dealership code to program it all that extra stuff?

    Fighting the auto noise cancelation when adding a sub. Do you know how to disable it? It's in one of the factory radio menus but I don't remember how to get to it.
    Thanks.

    • @goautosound1
      @goautosound1  Месяц назад

      @meh991 it's should as long as you have all harnesses to with the radio.one thing you may want to check is to see if the new radio uses the same amplifier

    Has anyone had the radio not power up after pulled and installed back? I have checked fuse and all connects everything is connected good. The screen just is dark and does not seem to have any lights on. Everything else works still.

    • @goautosound1
      @goautosound1  Год назад +1

      The Nissan uses the same size shape plug for radio and heater control plugs. Be sure you are plugged in the radio harness, not the heater control plug .they will fit the same way .good luck

      Thanks yeah i double checked it this morning. The heater plug is wired lower i assume to make it harder to get them mixed up. Yeah still seeing the same thing everything turns on but the radio. Tried holding power button for 60 sec but nothing. I am really at a loss. Thank you for your help.
