It was a fashion/visual way to distract enemies and attack if/when necessary. In Episode 1, before they escape in the Naboo starship with Qui Gon and Obi Wan, the queen also had a “word” or look that would cue her maidens. Sabe, the decoy of Padme, says something like Sabe: Either choice presents a great risk...to all of us... PADME : We are brave, Your Highness. This was so that as decoy, she had permission from Padme to speak, but it was also a way for the queen to give cues for attack. Like code words. Vader's 'noooo' is actually a bloodcurtling scream. His suit takes his damaged words and interprets what he says out of a voice modulator. His suit didn't know what his scream was so it output it as yelling no.

If I make an evil decision it's either an accident or it's because I'm trying to make a nuanced character, but I always go for the good ending. As for people who avoid bad choices each and every time, think of it as them turning a role-playing experience into a game with a set story. There are still plenty of games with engaging and fun plots that don't give you choices, so that's just what you're changing the experience into.

He has intense force healing which means he can withstand a lot of damage
