Kwing, the Inquisitors were in the Expanded Universe but only a few were ever known by name. Notable ones include Jerec, High Inquisitor Tremayne, Malorum.
edmg7 in the ps2/wii versions the final trip to the Jedi temple (you go there 3 times in that version). You see illusions of Vader fighting your father before your father can kill Vader you step in. It’s a great scene. Father: I’m trying to save you from the dark side. Starkiller: The dark side is all I have
@kwingsletsplays Actually on the 360/PS3 version, switching costumes only takes you back to your most recent checkpoint. The Wii version however, restarts the entire level.
Funny bit of trivia. On the PS2 and Wii ports of this game, there's another level or two set in Cloud City. Complete with Mandalorian and Gungan mercenaries... not both at the same time, just one of each. Also, I think Adi Gallia was the first Jedi seen that used a reverse lightsaber grip.
drsdino Also in those versions you go to the Jedi Temple 3 times (they make a joke about this). The first 2 you fight illusions of past Sith Lords, and the final one you fight your father. Honestly story wise I prefer the ps2/Wii versions
Both games if chosen with light side endings are canon to the legends continuity, the ending of the force unleashed 3 is never resolved because we never got a third one, because Disney bought Star Wars. However the ending would’ve continued on and the second games light side ending is in fact considered canon

Both the inquisitors and shadow guard are canon to the legends continuity, we just have much more inquisitors by name now, and yes they are very similar however the shadow guard answer to the emperor directly like his imperial guard however the inquisitors answer to vader
I believe the inquisitors were created or giving a name or the concept came out of star wars rebels ( which is a cool series from Disney star wars ) but I could be wrong but I think the new season of the clone wars show is gonna be great and I like both legends and Disney canon star wars stuff eventhough I haven't read the books or comics etc but still.
Joshua Hammond Inquisitors were based on an rough concept of dark side users who worked with the empire. Terms like dark Jedi and rogue were just names given officially by Disney for their versions
The inquisitors were created before rebels in legends for example jerec who was a little bit important for a while I recommend reading some more legend material

I feel a lot of people are unfair to the Sequel Trilogy and the new EU, simply out of resentment to Disney, or just because "That ain't what I wanted.". Then anything to do with it's quality, even though it lacks the stilted acting, odd dialogue and overused cgi which the Prequels are guilty of. That it's more on theme with the Original Trilogy, seems to be completely ignored by some. I wouldn't be surprised to learn many of the Sequel's detractors seem to be operating with confirmation bias, making up their minds to dislike them, then deciding why later. As for the Legends continuity, I understand why some would be upset over it's dismissal. It did represent the developing history of Star Wars as it's mythology grew, even though there where many contradictions and sub-par ideas introduced from people essentially throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what stuck, retcons smoothing out the cracks later, like in DC and Marvel. It''s a charming kind of mess. But its still a mess, that would be hard to adapt or convay outside of there original context. So it makes sense they'd want to start again with a much tidy and consistent narrative, that avoids cramming so much in and around the original trilogy (at least two different video games depicted the stealing of the Death Star plans, each by someone different). The only exception would be the Knights of the Old Republic and Tales of the Jedi stories which where set thousands of years before any of that, giving them more breathing space for the writers, and thus why so many good stories where told. So far the new Eu has kept from exploring that but hopefully they'll recognize the popularity of it and reintroduce characters like the Ancient Sith and Jedi (Tulak Hord, Marka Ragnos, Nomi Sunrider, Revan, The Exile) and those involved in their tales like with Thrawn.
I don’t think that’s the case, legend fans criticise the sequel trilogy due to its poor writing, horrible characters, total disregard of original Star Wars canon, even more contradictions, horrible fight scenes and much more, of course there were some inconsistencies in the legends but that’s the case with any massive extended universe like you said dc and marvel, the overall continuation of the Luke’s story isn’t like that at all, the writing was perfect, exciting, and something the fans wanted. It worked extremely well with no contradictions at least compared to the horrific writing of Disney. Even the actor of Luke thought he would be seeing Mara jade skywalker. There really wasn’t any reason to scrap 30 years of confirmed Star Wars canon. Not only that but Cathleen said there wasn’t any extra material to write about basically saying the legends continuity didn’t exist. Furthermore yes they copy and pasted a lot of the original trilogy but copying doesn’t make it better, we want new stories aligning with the old canon and or remastering the old canon in the feel of what truely makes Star Wars Star Wars. That’s why the mandolorian is so popular, because it takes concepts from the legends and old canon and makes brand new stories out of them in the feel of old school Star Wars.
