I feel like I would like Finn if the writers would just give him something to do.
I agree. He had such potential. I thought he was gonna be the main character, and we'd learn how the First Order treated their people and how difficult it would be for someone trained their entire life to be a soldier to integrate into society and become their own person. Instead we got female Luke Skywalker whose parentage is the only interesting part of her. It's really sad.

For theory for ep9 was that Finn would lead a Stormtrooper Uprising since the majority of them are apparently kidnapped children. It would have been a powerful scene if Finn let himself get caught just to upload every trooper's personal information to them so they'd learn their names and rebel against the First Order officers.

George did provide the overall story for the originals, though. And by overall, I mean a scene-to-scene basis. The only things these 'writers' like Kasdan did were write on a very specific lines-to-line basis. Without Kasdan (or a writer) you get the prequels. A great over-arching story, with flimsy execution. Without Lucas, you get the sequels. A kind of entertaining film that has the depth of a puddle.
It's up to you which you like more; I personally like the prequels far more. Also, George did ask people like Steven Spielberg to help him out, but they refused because it was George's story or something.
And I think Lucas did A New Hope almost completely on his own. Which was what spawned the whole thing in the first place.

Clark Esteban Lucas did pretty much everything New Hope by himself, even then he had friends like Spielberg help him out with suggestions with the editing to help the pace. Bigger example original cut the opening battle in the ship kept cutting back and forth with Luke (these scenes were eventually deleted because they didn’t add much, only thing is that they mention Sand People are violent).
But because of how stressful New Hope was he got helped. He had a rough story for each but even then they were VASTLY different. During Empire Lucas was thinking about doing 3 more trilogy’s. Lucas hired screen writers to help with a script but he still supervise it, famously changed the Vader being Luke’s father in the newest one when it was still plan for them to be separate characters.
When he got to Return he was burned out and cancelled his plans for future movies and wanted to the series to a close. His first sequel trilogy actually had the emperor be the main antagonist, of course he decided to put him in ROTJ.
Only years later when CGI came around he thought how now he can get things to look exactly like he envisioned, and did chose to do prequel. He tried to get other to help but everyone told him George should do it himself.

Well the light side weakening Vader especially because Vader was a force for good he was a Jedi knight and turned to the dark side.

This entire game is just an excuse to go crazy with the force. It may be fun but it doesn't really add anything of worth to the lore, in fact it kinda just makes it confusing.
The rebellion was formed by Vader, not various leaders and planets who feel it's worh risking their lives standing for freedom and hope against tyranny and corruption?
That's completely at odds with the films.
Same for the power on display, we've seen that when people use The Force they have to exert themselves, the energy may be infinite but the body using it isn't. But apparently Starkiller has Force super strength, which is ridiculous in of itself, before the addition of the crazy crap he does with it and who he can best. All just because Vader gave him a rough time during training.
Like I said it's not to be taken too seriously. But it does paint certain detractors of the sequels poorly when they can accept Starkiller doing that, but the sight Rey being strong with the Force, and rightfully being overhelmed by it, even stumbling but working to overcome that awe and inexperience though willpower, is met with cries of "Overpowered!".
That may not be everyones reason for disliking the new movies, (I think some, not all, are just parroting, mistaking a vocal opinion for a popular one) but It's hard not to read some kind of double standard into their reaction, when the two are directly compared.
Those are my thoughts at least. There's nothing wrong with disliking something that doesn't work for you, but the close mindedness some have is shocking.
If I where to select better Star Wars games then Unleashed, besides Fallen Order. They would be;
Knights of the Old Republic, obviously. It really explores the ambiguity that exists between light and dark and shines a different outlook on both.
Bounty Hunter, cause it stars Jango Fett, and has very memorable villains, and criminal cohorts of Fett.
Star Wars Starfighter and it's sequel Jedi Starfighter. Very fun, very intense, with great voice acting.
I'd recommend you all play these at some point.
Avenger85438 There’s a novelization of this game that apparently that massively toned down Starkiller’s ability. He doesn’t do anything too different from what we saw in the movies, minus the star destroyer cause that was kept in.
Makes sense. The whole game's a spectacle fighter, that wouldn't really translate to written form.
Avenger85438 Even then in this game characters we know have been exaggerated I mean you fight Obi Wan’s ghost in a DLC.
I think partially why people accept this is because it’s a game and very thing is exaggerated and Starkiller was trained by the characters in Vader. A character established to be one of if not the strongest characters in universe.
Fallen Order I feel better represents how a Jedi would accurately fighting would be like.
I agree, Fallen Order is a much better display of Force powers and sabre fighting.
I think Vader having a secret Force agent of his own that he's trained is possible in concept. But they wouldn't be able to match or overpower him, maybe with a cunning trap, but even that's long odds. (since it would devalue Lukes triumph as well) the only ones who could logically take him on is at his height are, Sideous, Ahsoka, Kenobi, Luke or Jedi Masters.
The only era where I can imagine the average Force user matching him would be from The Old Republic time, when Jedi and Sith routinly clashed. The long Peace between the fall of the Sith and Rise of the Empire made sure no Jedi had any experience fighting a full on Dark Lord until The Clone Wars.

Compared to Rey where we have no idea why she so strong where now in Ep9 we are apparently now finding out. And if true makes sense why but it makes the last movie saying she was a nobody pointless now.
Old republic era on the Jedi were pretty much at their peak of power. With it’s complicated to know because of the whole killing each other lol
No offense Kwing but your lightsaber skill in this game and fallen order makes me cringe. Before your next episode can u like dedicate to practicing and gettin better at the combat.
