As a youth of the 60's I remember when I first saw this song performed on a television show by Barry McGuire. Loved it then still love it but your version is the best cover I've heard yet. I just grabbed it and download it to my playlist along side with the original version. You have a great voice Ms. Mintz

Julie, I'm not sure how I missed this for a year... I watched Run Hide Fight and was mesmerized by the beautiful, haunting, mournful version of Eve of Destruction. Such incredible talent you have! The movie had me in tears in a couple of places. It was all so very well done.

It's rare that a piece of music rips an emotional response from you during a movie - nor that a song presents as powerful a poignant coda to a movie. Glad you found it! Unfortunately, I had nothing to do with the people involved in the distribution of the film. I recorded my vocals quarantined all alone in a home studio at the height of the pandemic and sent them to The Mondo Boys. I'm super happy people love the final song

I was paid upfront to sing on the track as that’s it. I would say that hopefully they would allow me to renegotiate for a small performance royalty. But realistically I don’t see them having an interest in releasing it 🤷🏼♀️

Many of my generation did not realize they were used to aid and abate the demonic enemy. The one kid in the movie was touched by the lead character and she changed his heart. That is what leads to peace. The mournful manner of your rendition touched my heart.
