That green though! there is nowhere on anyone's display that you CAN'T notice this piece!
It’s the Allosaurus with paint coloring of the Green Iguana. That Cyberzoic Allosaurus is good, but this Beasts of the Mesozoic Allosaurus is better.
The most best Beast of Mesozoic figure ever and its my new Favourite
Can't wait for mine! I like the colors on it already, but I'm tempted to repaint mine as well.

What brand did you use to customize your own logo in the back? Very nice looking!
Marco Makes designed the logo for me, then I had a metal sign made by a company through Amazon! I can get you a link if you'd like. They're quite cheap shockingly.

The color on the Allosaurus is based on the modern day Green Iguana.
Depending on the size of the Hammond collection Allo, i might use the BOTM Allo as a Saurophagnax in my collection!
This means the wait is almost over 🎉

I wonder if the Jimmasendi will be the same size as the larger tyrannosaurs or if it's also a bit smaller, since it was bigger than fragilis IRL

That’s the weird thing I’ve noticed with a lot of BOTM reviews on RUclips… they never heat them up beforehand to show how poseable they are 😭

Tried dipping the whole figure in heated water? This is what I do to every singe BOTM figure I have. Put the figure in hot (not boiling) water, let it sit for a few minutes, take out, and gently move each joint.

I swear the plastic flex sounds on this one are 🤌💋
Not casting the (nylon?) of the joints in a matching green/brown is a miss in my opinion. That pure white stands out so much. That kind of plastic can't hold paint either so any that covers it up and has friction is just going to come off in use.

@@Ilostmycactus not sure why this always been a thing on these figures, when Mattel’s Hammond Collection, cheap/affordable as they are, get this right. Not bashing BOTM, but for the price being paid, I want them to be MILES better than /all/ the competition.

A couple of things, though…it appears that this one doesn’t have the standing legs that the larger BOTM theropods usually have? And while it was good to see the large stand, it would have been nice to see a demonstration of it in use with something like the BOTM T-Rex?🤔

…as well-intentioned as the original T-Rex base was, it just takes up too much space, and is awkward to use. I’d be more than happy to replace that base with the new stand if it is noticeably better!😅

Awesome review! Honestly I just love the fragilis specimen having the more pronounced skull that I'm more familiar with in terms of old school recreations of Allosaurus compared to the jimmadseni specimen from Cyberzoic.

'just need to dirty it down with some oil washes and it's perfect... can't believe I'm this excited for an articulated figure only to have it in a permanent pose on my shelf.🤣

giving an apex land predator from an arid environment a tropical tree dwelling herbivore green iguana's color pattern is a very weird choice.
Yup... You would think the guys who design these would have some clue about basic paleo ecology and reptile biology. Luckily, the Cyberzoic version has a much more reasonable paint scheme. This version is gonna be a pass for me.

It's only colourfull areas are it's face, the rest of the body is brown and light green
