Now, obviously, they have to return to class once everything is back to normal. Deku and the others literally just graduated to class 2-A, meaning they have this school year and also 3-A to go. that means they graduate from high school 6 years before the skip. Now, they have to find jobs, establish themselves, all of that jazz. Allmight said that it took him nearly all of his fortune across his entire career to make the armored allmight suit. That means, that no matter how good of a job all the students get, they are gonna need around 2-3 years to even have enough to all chime in for the suit. Assuming it takes them around 3 years (expenses obviously), they would end up paying for the suit 3 years before the skip. And finally, a piece of machinery that insanely powerful takes time to build. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that analyzing the data of the armored allmight armor, creating specs for Deku specifically, while actively upgrading the armor with ever developing technology, ALL IN SECRET (as a surprise for Deku, which means they can only rely on previous data of him to come up with the specs) took them the last 3 years. Hell, the students might not even had that plan instantly going out of highschool, so it could have taken longer for the idea to even come. In other words? Yeah, they had Deku in their minds and talked to him whenever they weren't busy making a huge gift for him. If that's him getting forgotten, then I literally don't know what to tell you.

What's up with popular mangas having bad endings?
The Number 1 reason why is ending is bad, is because Horikoshi built up Deku's character to embody the of heroism, being a hero was who he was and he was better at it than everyone, even All Might, now even if he became a hero again to go from that to just glossing over the next 8 YEARS of his life living normally, feeling lonely and left behind doing something that wasn’t his dream is the biggest injustice. He was probably the only character In the show besides All Might who deserved to have a power like OFA to spend all that time training it making it his own to just have it taken away and ended like that is a joke.

Not to mention, the whole point of the manga was to convey that it doesn't take power to be a hero, is your deeds that make you one. Everyone seems to just ignore the fact that the ending stays true to that message just because they wanted Deku to have his cake and eat it too with one for all.
Everyone makes fun of his job as a teacher overseas because they don't get the cultural difference with Japan. In Japan, being a teacher is actually a highly respected job, and it also pays well. To be honest, it fits Deku's "nerd" personality while also allowing him to help heroes in his own way.
Man deku technically was never confirmed to be with Ochako or any girl for that matter ultimate bag fumbler even if he did people are going to call him a cuck with the whole bakugo having his hand around Ochako I’ve even seen ida, todo, mineta, and tsuyu memes. Naruto, ichigo, tanjiro and more weren’t done anywhere near dirty as deku😭
Moral of the story, can't trust Izuku with a quirk, he's guaranteed to lose it within a year, and some months give or take
MHA fandom still getting butthurt if you say something bad about the ending.
How is Katsuki contributing the most money to that suit?
Shoto and Momo come from way richer families, they should have way more to contribute than Katsuki.
Plus Mirio is the #1 hero. Considering how that position should make him more affluent than most other characters and how Izuku pretty much saved his life twice, he should also have way more to contribute than Katsuki. Hell all of the pre time skip pro heroes should be richer than Katsuki
Melissa and Mei should also be the top designers in the entire world since they designed this suit, so they should be able to contribute way more as well. And since this suit clearly cost millions or a billion to make, I’d expect huge tech companies to be investing into it. Don’t tell me Katsuki contributes more than multibillion tech companies
I get the sentiment Horikoshi is making that Katsuki wants to see Izuku return to be a hero, but realistically there is no way he would have the moeh to put towards this suit unless you’re going to say people who have more would contribute less for some bizarre reason

This ending in a way makes izuku into the type of hero stain was against. Now before y'all crucify me hear me out, izuku graduated UA via the hero course, hence he's technically already a legal pro-hero so if he's already a pro hero legally then why for 8 years did he do presumably no hero work but rather become a teacher. Throughout the series it shows that you can be capable with physical training so, izuku basically gave up being a hero, he didn't want to join an agency and be a sidekick or at least do low level missions but hero missions nonetheless. Only when he was givin the op power suit did he decide "yup let's be a hero" so he only wants to be a popular top 10 in the limelight hero not those ones that will offer a hand to anyone that needs help and knowing he atleast saved someone. He basically bacame the hero season 1 bakugou wanted to become ironically being one for fame rather than heroism 😂😂😂😂😭😭

How will he be able to maintain it on a teachers salary, if the power source runs of can he replace it, did the developers know how the multiple quirks from ofa work and how izuku uses them? 😭😭😭 All these questions easily dismantles the whole "you've earned this power as well" from all might because realistically izuku basically did nothing of not for 8 years because he wasn't in the top hero bracket for being a pro-hero

What's wild is that people forgot that All Might used that suit as a one time thing. Not only did it cost All Might literally getting sent to the poorhouse, but all the equipment involved in it, while cool to see, were all single use items - and he STILL got fucked up afterwards. That shit got destroyed.

Maybe the series ending would've been way better if deku had a suit and was using support gear since the beginning and never had ofa hell would've been a way better message of being quirkless and still being a hero go full ironman / batman route

Too much is happening in a way too little time window in universe like the entirety of Pre-Timeskip One Piece is only a few months making the two year Timeskip longer than the actual manga before that???
Imagine Deku's journey take us to all the three years at school with Act 3 is his third year.

Once again Popular Manga endings that no one likes. It seems like Mangaka just don't know how to end their stories. Or it could be you just can't satisfy everyone. They hated Naruto, AOT, Bleach, Demon Slayer endings Etc etc. Was there ever a manga ending that everyone liked or at least the majority of fans liked?
The only anime I can think of that has a good ending would be Astro boy?
I actually really liked demon slayers ending though. Sure nearly everyone died, but they knew the risks, and all the right couples got together and it was pretty wholesome with the reincarnation thing.

I think as the story went on, the more the Vigilantes story line should've been used on Deku, he should've not been given the best quirk but do the iron man thing from jump street.

When one says something awesome like they will become the greatest hero ever, fans are usually going to take it to be LITERALLY. It's one thing to subvert fan expectations, but it generally a bad idea to subvert the expectations they're actually LOOKING FORWARD TO!
THIS is the fairest comment i've seen. As someone who was upset deku lost his power, but didn't hate the end, i think this is really everyones major issue with it. OFA was a dope power, and it sucks its gone and because we saw All might, we couldn't help but picture Adult Deku using it at 100% That to me is the big let down, buti don't think the ending is terrible.
this is a really fair comment, but Deku DID become the greatest hero. He took down the greatest evil and with his friends sparked an age of change for their society.

What really highlights how fake all of Deku’s friends are is All Might
In the very first chapter he had very limited time to use One for All and he was very busy maintaining his #1 hero position.
Yet when he first saved Izuku he stopped and waited for him to regain consciousness and even took the time to sign his book with his autograph. All for that for a stranger he didn’t know at the time. He even took time to travel to the US, ie out of the country, to visit his friend David.
Yet you got these non #1 class A alumni acting like they too busy to frequently catch up with their longtime friend Izuku who is in the same country as them. He’s still in the same damn location.
#1 hero in the world All Might can do for a stranger and his actual friend what none of these non #1 hero 20 people can’t do for their friend

A Shonen series about the grime and grim of human society taking place in a Gods Among Us hero setting with the writers barely having enough guts to stick their tippy toe into the quagmire of the setting and ultimately having no consequences or change for the world and hero society as a whole while giving the protagonist the literal BAD ENDING without so much as gratitude from the people around him for what he had done.
I think I'm gonna go and find a story with a better plot and leave this show in the recycle bin in my brain because this show has let me down in so many ways.

Horikoshi did delve into the deep parts of the society, there is a whole discrimination plot and everything, there were consequences, society was changed ultimately for the better as heroes got changed from an individual symbol to a general symbol that anyone can be a hero. Deku didn't get the bad ending, he just didn't finish the story with godlike power and 9 bitches, the world knows and recognizes who he is, his friends spent bazillions to make him a suit and everything.

Where's the newly created laws to end discrimination against mutation quirks? Where are the creation of programs meant to help the poor and downtrodden get back on their feet so they don't resort to robbery to survive? Why do they still have hero rankings that still dictate only the strongest and most powerful in their top ranks thus still incentivising that only the strongest can become heroes with the only difference being civilians can now participate and lord over everyone else weaker than them as well!? Where are the consequences against the government officials who literally took young heroes and turned them into child assassins? The ending is so lame and downbeat I almost suspect its to set up an epic return in the movie, which would suck. I don't need my manga to have dlc with the true ending.
The main criticism of MHA is so odd. Having 20 people get together all at once is not easy once you’re out of highschool. Being busy doesn’t mean they didn’t care about Deku and being a teacher in Japan is more respected than it is in America.
How do you go from being hyped up to become the next symbol of peace who's a greater hero than all might to becoming a teacher on a teacher salary?

I'm not familiar with manga, just anime watcher but one thing strike me about those spoilers; apparently after he lost his powers Izuku just give up! That's massively out of character for him; how many times this kid had broken fingers, arms, legs and he never give up but he loses his powers and he abandon his dreams to be a hero ? His intellect, knowledge, athleticism, determination are still there - he was one of the best tacticians in his class and yet there is no use for him other to be a teacher ? You tell me that Batman like hero - well trained, smart guy with some gadgets couldn't work in MHA world and Deku don't even try to be Batman like hero, instead he just gives up ?

I don't really hate the ending buuutttt i still have gripes with it especially with Deku. To me it really feels like he didn't try to become a hero without a quirk until he got his suit, also did he stop training after those 8 years?
Other than all of what u said bro im not against ur opinion but i think the ending was pretty good also again deku being a hero he was being selfless cause as a hero he thought of someone other than himself

This comment section is proving that no one actually reads the manga, just took what Social Media was complaining about and ran with it.
- Deku’s dream was to be an inspiration and save as many as he could, which he accomplished, the numbers of heroes and villains have gone down he and continues to do in his own way as one of the highest honors in Japan, especially as a Hero Course Teacher.
- Everyone in Class 1-A contributed to making Deku a Pro Hero Suit stronger than All Might’s, All Might just notes especially Bakugo who spearheaded the damn thing and everyone is happy to be alongside Deku in the final panel.
- How do you keep a consistent meeting basis with 20 people who are active pro heroes and a major few are going across the entirety of Japan?
- Deku is noted as among the greatest heroes of all time as he has statues and is recognized, but it’s the story of how they all became the world’s greatest heroes, not just Deku and Deku has proven himself at this point.
Seriously, where are all of you getting that Deku is a purposefully abandoned nobody? The jokes are fine, but the fact some of you believe it-

As said in the manga its hard for deku and his friends to meet up bakugo put the most money in the suit due to him wanting his rivalry with deku to continue also knowing deku deserves to be a hero again

In the beginning after seeing end. I was upset with deku not continue he dream be a hero. But I started thinking what if, he not quitting his dream but he giving up for saves the world. In 2 or 3 ch of my hero: all might said to Izuku you need a quirk do be a hero. In all MHA or the spinoff there no quirk-less pro hero. To all hero who be quirk-less they quit be hero or be vigilant because in MHA world you need power to be a pro hero. Izuku know this but, he a hero who wants saves everyone.

"What happens when Deku is in a fight and his suit is not strong" You mean the suit that's STRONGER than all might's suit, the suit that was DEALING with all for one and was tanking damage? What are you talking about? The story takes place in the future so that argument makes no sense. The suit mimics one for all and has the abilities of armored all might, so he is NOT struggling

Again for me its the opposite. The whole message of the story is that being a hero isn't just being active in the field and punching bad guys. Its about helping others trough whatever means you legaly can like being a teacher or cop or doctor or whatever. Plus it mirrors All might being a full time teacher. Deku being a teacher at UA and helping the next genwration of heroes would have been perfect as a way to continue his dream and even tough he would have wanted to be active he would have still been content and happy knowing that he made a diffrence.
But no because some crybabys didn't understand the message of the story we need to have a quick scene that shows that he can still be a hero from all might who should be dead or hospitalized in a wheekchair or some shit. Its kinda wild that basically no one exept Endeavour got put out of commison.
Also it looks like Bakugo is with Uraraka because of how the final shot is made meaning Deku got cucked. Althoug based Horikoshi for not confirming any ships beyond Gentel and La brava who nobody gives a fuck about.
To be fair in Japan being a teacher especially at a top school in the country is much more respectable than in the west witch is probably why this stings so much for people.
The good thing is it exposes the people who unironicaly didn't get the point.
