Just got this locally for 100 bucks. I'm super happy to get some printing done. The original owner didn't use it much and still has ~90% ink left. I just used the luster 8.5 x 11 to get some test prints. Ordered some 13x19 papers :) Great video
I'm having a hard time finding Canon ink, as of 07/09/2021. Is Canon going to continue supporting the 100? I can't find any info on Canon's site. I want to upgrade to the Pro 1000, but I can't afford it now.
Thats a great deal. I bought mine for 100$ -used of course through a good deal online. These printers print good but are very slow and they are nearing a decade old since their release. They take up alot of space also (along with ink through mandatory cleaning cycles)but after years of use I would say they are rather reliable. I was able to replace mine happily with the tank versions which save up on lots of genuine ink. If it wasnt for the cost of ink I believe I would have kept it. I heard from a user that they clog or even ruin the print head using cheap ink.
It depends on what you are printing. When I got the printer, I was able to print about 160 prints before the first of 8 colors began to run out. It was about 60 4x6’s, 30 8x10’s, 40 Letter Size, and 30 CD/DVD’s, and even some 13x19’s. I was surprised by how much printing I managed without it running out. It also depends on the humidity in your area, and how often you use the printer. If I don’t use it for a few weeks then it will run a cleaning cycle that uses ink. Have a great rest of your day!
It does now that the Pro-200 came out. The Pro-200 sells for $600. People are paying more for the Pro-100 as the cartridges can easily be refilled and reset. I guess I’m lucky for being able to purchase one for less than $100 when Canon was doing lots of rebates.
Finally a review without stupidly loud music! Thanks, dude! Great review.

Very helpful video, thank you! :)
Hi how you doing I was wondering can you air print like use your phone or Apple iPad to print pictures with this machine?
Yes you can, when the printer is connected to your WiFi network.
Is it difficult to set that printer up?
It is not very hard to set up. However, it is quite heavy, and you need to install the print head manually.
Thank you sir have a blessed day 🙂
How many prints can you make before the ink runs out?

Can it handle a 300gsm photo paper?
Great question, the Pro-100 can handle 300gsm paper. If for any reason it can’t, then try loading it in the fine art paper feeder.
This thing goes for $1000 on Amazon! 😭
