I'm a Thermaltake guy myself, but Thermalright has earned its place in my systems over the last few years...they are up-n-coming and holding their own...nice review brother.
I got one of these since it was small and $25. Had a stock AMD cooler on my R5 3600 and while it does the job, it was so loud. The 90 SE was extremely quiet. Like I definitely heard the case fans over the cpu fan. Even at low speeds. So I had to adjust the case fan’s speed to be more silent. It was also 10c cooler during gaming, which is great as well. Definitely worth the money. It’s great for an ITX case. It’s on my Hyte Revolt 3 and it fits with the two 140mm case fans.
Nice fiding this video was. I have a salvaged base R7 5700 (non X), and this cooler is very cheap with the holidays promos here in my region. This will fit like a glove =D
Finally the review appeared. Looks like I'll take this fan for my rather small case. The full black color is very cool. Unfortunately, it seems like there is only the basic version here.
@@WELSHYTECHI don't know. but there are only basic version in here, with aluminum color and the chopper is still exposed. By the way, with the price difference, is it worth it to choose Peerles Assassins with dual towers and 1 fan, compared to the Assassins series which only has 1 tower?
According to your test at 145w, the cooler performs within acceptable range. If I was to pair this cooler with the 9700x that can operate between 65w and 105w, I guess the thermals at max load should be around 60c which is totally safe? Would love to hear your view if you don't mind speculating with me 😊
You are correct. This cooler should be just fine, but if a full load was for a long while, the temps would start to go higher, but of course, this will depend if your case has good airflow or not
The Silver Soul is almost identical to this Cooler and the price in the video was updated yesterday during editing so the price coming down isn't a surprise
Trying to keep to a tiny budget. I know you said you can’t text Intel but for my i5-12400F what’s your feel for performance and quietness if I’m choosing from: Peerless assassin 90 SE £20 Assassin x 90 v2 £15 Be Quiet! Pure Rock Slim 2 £25 If I can fit 3rd in - measured 150mm mobo to case
Thanks Welshy! I went for PA 90SE. I’ve put together a cheap build with ebay & Black Friday just to run old games well. Anything newer goes on my ps5. New I5-12400f (£85), new MSI B760M-A WiFi (£85), new Crucial 32GB DDR5 6000 (£67), and 2nd hand GTX 750ti (£25).
@@WELSHYTECH The case I am using can only fit coolers with max height of 138mm. My choices are either the PA90 SE or the AXP90-x53 Full. Any suggestion(s)?

Thank you bud and Yep I completely agree with you
Thermalright used to be super high-end in the AthlonXP/Pentium4 era, I've always had a fondness for them.
This model seems awesome!
There are little videos, but I'm glad I found that one
Glad I helped 😌

@@djankrixz A dual tower Cooler with fan is worth it cause you could just add an extra fan for me more thermal Room But it all depends on The CPU

This or the silver soul 110... I think SS 110 comes with the TL-B9 fans which are very good. Price on both coolers below £25 right now

Very nice review 🎉❤
Thank you 😊
Thanks for review. Will it be sufficient to cool 5700x3D CPU?
I'd honestly go for the Peerless assassin Mini
Nice video! May I ask that if this cooler is recommended to use with ryzen 7 9700x cpu? If not I want ur suggestion 🙏🏻 thanks
Thanks, and as for a cooler, I'd recommend the Mini version as its not much bigger and will perform better
@@WELSHYTECH do u mean the peerless assassin x 90 SE? The one with only 1 fan.
Nope it's called the Peerless Assassin MINI
peerless assassin has a 90 version ? This is gonna be good for itx
Yep just came out I believe I'm the first to review it
90SE is really that small or that your palm is oversize? fan looks so cute.

Nice i thought all dual tower coolers cover the ram
Nope, not all this and the Peerless Assassin MINI don't
Thats a cracking little cooler, i might get 1 for shits'n'giggles.
It's a good little cooler
Hello, I got one for my 5600 and forgot to check if it comes with a thermal solution, did yours already have one?
It should come with thermal paste
@WELSHYTECH alright, thanks for the help, your vid was the most detailed one I could find

@@alexrussell7165 nice glad I could help
this one or assassin king 120 se in term of performance?
Assassin King 120 se Is larger and also has a bigger Fan it's going to depend on the CPU your using
Will this work well for a ryen 5 7600?
Yes
Is this better than the mini ?
Not really the Mini is larger So get the Mini
Would this be fine for a ryzen 9 5900x?
Did you watch the video i say what cpu i use
@WELSHYTECH honestly nope lol, sorry about that 😅
Lol, most people comment before even watching the video
Suporta a plataforma X99?
