That Black Lincoln Town Car was gorgeous beyond words inside and out. Why in the world don’t we have REAL LUXURY CARS today instead of them all looking the same??
There are a few of us who would buy beautiful cars like these if made today!!

Mind you, these clips literally show the Lincolns decline from the wholly iconic late 70’s Mark Vs to looking ‘all the same’ and barely distinguishable from Crown Vics!

I miss the OLD SCHOOL Lincolns - especially the boxy TOWN CARS of 1970s-1980s. Exuded GODFATHER gangster style, as NYC MAFIA gangsters had this ride - especially as it had a boot big enuff to hide dead bodies in. Mob boss Paul Castellano died as he exited his Lincoln Town Car with his driver in front of Sparks Stean House in 1985. The images of that car are still in my mind!!!

My grandfather was a huge lover of cars (and the reason I got into cars in the first place) and even ran his own Machine shop for a number of years before his retirement. (The shop's still in business!), His prized machine was a 1978 Continental Mark V "Diamond Jubilee" Edition. Absolute beauty, and one of the smoothest rides I've ever experienced in my life on the rare occasion we'd go for a drive in it. After he passed, we took it out one last time for his funeral as a way to honour him and just to get one final drive in that timeless classic. He also had a 2000 Town Car, which was the last daily car he owned.
Those old Lincolns are just special, special cars. It still saddens me that we'll likely never see something like those cars again.

Mine also had the later 5.0 HO motor which is the most desirable to be found in this car. I believe the one in the video to have been about a 1986. I hope they won; it was the best prize shown here in my opinion (except perhaps the last Navigator with the boat), and the Mark VIII which I also owned was a great car in its own right as well.

Anyone else have a hard time distinguishing between Dian and Janice (both are blondes and they resemble one another)?

I'm upset because they skipped the 1982 through 1987 Lincoln continentals

I have a Continental clip from the early 80s that I came across after I made this. So at least we know they did offer some during that time.

Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour is the best cue for a Lincoln, Cadillac, any luxury or sports car. Big banana sucks...

Shame on Ford Motor Co for turning its back on an entire crowd who, like me, wants & would purchase a big & beautiful SEDAN like those you've been showing; instead producing those SUVs. These clips remind me of all my past Lincolns & what I am missing.SAD!

I wish it made sense to show each of the games in its entirety, but this video would then be a couple hours long and the average viewer only watches 3 minutes 40 seconds of it as is.

I can't believe they got $30k for those old boxy town cars. What a rip off. Everybody who bought one didn't know shit about cars
