Not only 2 amazing singers, but the conductor deserves a rousing applause. He knows how to use dynamics as not only decible but more importantly color. Freindly to the voice and helping the singer be able to easily express the music rather than fight the orchestra. Whoever they are, Bravo!

Thank you for this video. I have always wanted to hear Kraus and Callas together. I think he has a perfectly wonderful voice. At least he is a tenor, unlike many so-called tenors of today. In that respect, he absolutely IS an old-school singer.
