So incredibly happy to see the muppets being celebrated as they should!! They should increase the size of the muppets courtyard and keep it alive, as long as Hollywood studios exists!! 💚💚💚💚
Its great we get to see these celebrations on RUclips. Those us who want to be in parks and can't be, it's great seeing things on screen. This was cool to see Miss Piggy and Kermit host the 35 Anniversary celebration. Oh I hope to see more of them in future. MUPPETS are definitely icons that should continue being a great asset. 👏 👍 👍 to all the cast members and imageneers thank you for keeping the Magic of Disney going. TIM, This was interesting info that you told to. Chip and Dale walking by and Tim's response was priceless. This was cool. Be Safe Take Care 😊❤❤❤❤
Love this video and seeing those special 32 cast members! One of my favorites, TJ was there! I swear he is truly the heart and soul of Tower of Terror!
14:06 I am so glad that the bellhop TJ got his recognition by the company!!! I have had my personal experience with him as well as hearing all of the wonderful stories ive heard of other people say about him. We love you TJ!!! (he is all the way to the left in his uniform)
Will always be MGM....miss so many of the opening attractions...Backlot tour especially and Great Movie Ride....the animation building needs to come back..they could do so much with it today...oh well
I have great memories of working there when it was mgm. Worked at Planet Hollywood super store. So much fun. Miss Disney so much but vacations are expensive now. Thanks for sharing
5:55 - Dementia 113 is also a reference to ‘Dementia 13,’ one of the first movies Francis Ford Coppola wrote and directed. It was produced by the king of B movies, Roger Corman, who gave Coppola, Jack Nicholson, Jonathan Demme, and others their start in the movie business.
When I first moved to Las Vegas in the early 90’s, the MGM Grand had the Brown Derby Restaurant inside. One of my favorite salads is the Cobb, and I wanted to try the original, but never did. Now the Brown Derby is no longer here in Vegas, so Hollywood Studios, here I come ! 😋👍🥗
I had my first child in February 89 but we came a couple years later several times and MGM was one of our favorite parks. I don’t care for it much now.
Time stamp around 21 minutes. The old white guy with white hair was former Walt Disney Imagineering President Bob Weis. I really hope you said hello off camera. I freaked out watching this lol
Love the history nuggets Tim has been peppering into the vlogs. It's kind of sad that nothing from opening day still stands today... and 35 years isn't even that long ago.
as a former cm, this was so exciting to see since i haven't been in awhile. We were told that HS was the behind the scenes park atleast that was our story. You were "off stage" while walking around but when you entered an attraction area, you entered their show. That was why we were allowed to walk around among the guests in different attraction costumes unlike the other parks that had to traverse backstage. It was always a fun time interacting between attractions.
Tim, thank you for sharing. The first time I went to MGM Studios was for my honeymoon March, 1990. We where really enjoying Disney’s new park. Last time I went was on December, 2019. I miss the hat and the old park.
Woo hoo! I’ve been waiting years to watch you eat a grapefruit cake from Brown Derby!! Also, coincidentally, you ordered the exact same stuff my wife and I had when we were there back in Jan for our 10 year.
Great video! Ive always loved Hollywood studios best, also fun fact my great grandpa surveyed for Hollywood studios and typhoon lagoon so they've always been special to me
I really hope they bring back the live entertainment soon. I can’t recall if they still do the parades with the Camaros and Pixar characters? I remember watching old vlog with you interacting with the citizens of Hollywood, they made the park magical and tied the little bit of theme back together. Sad I didn’t get to experience great movie ride, it had already closed when we went for the first time in 2019 February
Does anyone remember Let’s Make Deal? I remember going that summer of 1989, I was 10 years old. It will always be MGM Studios to me! Happy anniversary! 🎥
Any of you wrestling fans; WCW used to film at Disney/MGM Studio. They had a show in front of the mains gate. Infact, the intro for Monday Nitro was filmed in the Streets of America
As always a great video. I do love that grapefruit cake as strange as it may sound, its just really good. I couldnt help but notice in the thumbnail. it looks as if Tim and Kermit were sitting together, but I didnt see that in the video? Was Kermie tossed to the editing room floor?
I have my ear buds in and couldn't decider between Tim's voice and Kermits 😂😂 9:22 I have heard how other fans have thought this and I was always like meh I don't think so but now I Def think Tim sounds like Kermit
Maybe this was discussed in a different episode and I missed it, but are we not going to talk about Tim wearing Ray Ban Wayfarer smart glasses? Tim are you going to show the results/review of the video from the glasses? 😁
That whole intro on Hollywood Studios being built before Universal, but not one mention about how Michael Eisner stole the whole idea from Unuversal? 🤔 Weird side to take.

LOL THE CHIPMUNKS DANCING BEHIND TIM!
GOOD TO SEE KERMIT AND THE MUPPETS!
Completely agree more muppets !! We want a muppet ride 👏🏼
I worked for Disney. The blue nametag is because a work peer nominated you and wrote why you should be a legacy cast member.
Thank you for stopping and taking a photo with us!!
Tim’s face while the Chipmunks just stroll by 😊 priceless
This wax SO great! Thanks for taking us along for this special celebration Tim!! 🎉
Matt's really getting the hang of playing Kermit! I'm happy to see the muppets becoming the ambassadors of the parks.
I miss the old MGM Studios😞💔

Ikr?
Dude, Bob Weis walked right in front of you at 21:03
I love this vlog it's great to see the cast members get their recognition
Thank you for sharing! So exciting!
This was all very interesting. I had no idea some movies and tv shows were filmed at the park. Miss Piggy and Kermit- funny as always!

The look on Tim's face as the chipmunks danced past was everything...LOL
Will always be MGM....miss so many of the opening attractions...Backlot tour especially and Great Movie Ride....the animation building needs to come back..they could do so much with it today...oh well
Great vid Tim, thanks for sharing! 🥰👌🏼💙
Wow do I feel old! I remember going to MGM Studios opening year. It is sooo different now. What a fun little event.
I love that chipmunk set up you did I literally lol.
I have great memories of working there when it was mgm. Worked at Planet Hollywood super store. So much fun. Miss Disney so much but vacations are expensive now. Thanks for sharing

When Tim said the Pixar muffins looked familiar, i was like it’s the star cruiser muffins.
I saw you in Hollywood studios and we got a photo with you, thanks you for stopping and getting us a photo ❤

I've been coming to this park since 1990 I was 3. This park has gone through so many changes. I miss old studios....
I’m thrilled your being invited to more Disney events. Your our go to RUclipsr so it’s fantastic to see.
I went to Disney in Florida, the day I had to come home they opened MGM Studios. I was so gutted to miss it.
Time stamp around 21 minutes. The old white guy with white hair was former Walt Disney Imagineering President Bob Weis. I really hope you said hello off camera. I freaked out watching this lol
😂 more like Michael Eisner stole Universal Studios idea because he was at the meeting when they was pitching the idea for universal studios😂
I came here to gently say this😂
@@kaspertillae6893 a lot of people don’t know and this is why universal don’t talk about the projects they are working on for this reason
Wow. I hadn't heard this, but I'm not that shocked tbh 😂

I miss the Streetmosphere Characters in HS. So very funny and entertaining and we cannot forget the Muppet Store. They need to bring these 2 back.
They absolutely made the park. So disappointed they didn't bring them back.
Sorcerer Mickey gets me crying every dang time.
i love when nick just shows up
Incredibly cool that they brought Matt Vogel and Eric Jacobson in to perform Kermit and Piggy live for this.
Informative vlog! Some things that I never knew before.. Thanks, Tim!
I love Kermit and Miss Piggy being in things around the park.
Happy birthday and happy 35 Disney Hollywood Studios
Love this as always!! 🎉🎉
The muppets should have a show introducing Star Wars
