Thank you so much for this! You a a little ahead of me in understanding crypto apps and I am following you closely. I understood that there are lower fees and better interest rates on the exchange, but always wondered if there was a more compelling reason to use the exchange. Now what gave me pause is that if, or when you decide to unstake or cash out on the exchange app it is not that liquid and it can take a few weeks to get your money?

When I withdraw coins from exchange to the app, it is immediate so that is not an issue, but I have not tried to cash out yet. Will get back to you when this happens in the future!

Great video! Why do you think it is that your balance in the app doesn't immediately show up in the exchange? Seems to me a very convoluted approach to using the exchange.
@@baixu I mean why do they force us to by USDC or some other token before we can transact on the exchange? I have fiat in the app on my phone that doesn't show up in my wallet using the exchange on the PC. It's like to separate programs that don't communicate with each other. By comparison, my brokerage account shows me the same balance in both the app and the desktop exchange.
That’s a good question, I also wish they wouldn’t. It’s an extra step. If you’re changing from dollar to USDT/USDC the value remains the same, but I’m not sure if a % gets lost when converting from euro.
so do i have to withdraw the fiat currency i sent to the desk top exchange and convert it on the app and then sent it to desk top exchange to buy and sell
@@baixu I mean everybody has to pay taxes - so it might be smart to track everything down now 😅 Because in Germany where I live I have to pay yearly taxes on Staking, Lending etc. even when I dont sell my coins 🙄

So I cant just have the mobile app, I have to have both.
