I’ve started doing this myself since this game was populated again, it’s too fun man no COD will ever compare to this game and no COD will ever top it.
Loved the F2000, it was hard to use yes. You got stomped on more than with other guns. But before that, if you get your decision making right and don;t run around like a headless chicken. It doesnt matter THAT much which gun you use. The difference comes with head on engagements and certain corners of map and cover. The sound of the F2000, especially silenced is quite fun to hear while playing.
It was so good I popped tf off with it back in the day. Can’t wait to unlock it again and get fall camo hella quick. The recoil always gave easy headies

Dude I have been LOVING going back to MW2. I forgot how much fun it used to be to just hop on a game quickly and shoot people and have fun. Unlock some rewards for your progress and accomplishments and not worry about SBMM screwing you over with CDL Skins or dumb rat/super hero skins jumpshotting every cornor and sliding everywhere.
The simplicity of the mechanics combined with the feel of the game and the depth of the progression systems just keeps me coming back daily again

Only thing I hate about the old cods being populated now, there is a lot more sweats than there was in it’s prime😂can’t get into a lobby now without someone tryharding on a 14 year old game it’s sad really I hopped on to just chill and get myself into it again but just keep getting spawn trapped😂

i think nuke is fine, but try it w different killstreaks. he keeps spamming the OP Ac130 or Chopper
This gun was a headshot machine for me. Silencer and fall camo. Scavenger, stopping power, steady aim. I just used it like an smg
Fun fact that sight isn't a MARS but actually a custom Telescopic Sight that is native to only the F2000. It's pretty cool how the MW2 Devs included that custom sight when you chose a red dot as it's only made for the F2000 and the only gun you can use it on in the entire game.

@@justinbrown9900 Incorrect. It looks similar, but the Tar 21 uses the MARS sight like all the other weapons.
Only the F2000 has this custom Telescopic sight. Note the shape differences, how the MARS is elevated while the F2000 Telescopic is a flat tube shape.
Look up images of "F2000 telescopic sight" and "Mars sight" and you'll see the difference.
This was my personal favourite gun in mw2 ❤ that and the mp5k. Something about the rate of fire on the F2000 was so satisfying, it was on par with the ACR if you knew how to control the recoil in my opinion.

Had fall camo with the f2k. Has good iron sights so you can rock a silencer. It was a fun gun, definitely not as good as the other AR's but I had fun with it.
Def my fave MW2 weapon. If you learned to burst fire it you could get easy headshots
F2000 silenced + M10 extended mags was my favorite combo on core mode. It felt cool being one of the only players to rock an F2000 in a lobby while also being in the top 3. Just felt like the F2000 has a faster time to kill while also having a bit of unpredictable recoil that made gunplay fun.
This gun and the tar were my undercover nuke machines way back when. I used to specialize in a weapon class each prestige, mw2 was so much fun man
It was in fact a difficult gun to use but like anything with more use you’ll eventually get the hang of it. I used to use it and the trick was to not always full auto more burst fire.
Ngl the videos where you don’t get a nuke still hit. Honestly just adds to the suspense of your vids, cus if it was guaranteed we’d already know what happens
F2000 was my GO TO in hardcore HQ pro. Got a small handful of nukes in that game mode and all of those nukes were immensely more memorable than any other tdm/ domination nuke I've ever got

Absolutely loved the FN2000 in MW2 I remember getting all camos’ and completing all the challenges for it lol. Even added a collection of Nukes with it as well, plus I love the design of it as well

Fun COD story; My son lives in Virginia and I live in Ohio.
I bought an Xbox 360 in 2012 so I could play COD with my son. I wanted MW3 but my sister bought Black Ops for me. I had never played COD multiplayer until then. My son was 15 and DEADLY on fps games. I had a very steep learning curve. When Black Ops 2 came out, I was comfortable with how to play. I was terrible when we started playing online together. His friends would say how lucky he was that his dad played with him and they wished their dads played with them. We played every single day. Bo2 for me was an imperative bonding time for my son and I. One day, I turned on my Xbox and he had un-friended me and I haven't spoken to him since.
The secret sauce of the f2000 was the unusual benefit of it’s vertical recoil. If you start your shots mid chest, doing a 4-5 round burst your last round is going to end up towards the head and end with a headshot, I got really good at it and actually became the best gun for me to use!
I'm guessing that guy laying prone beside you while you were in the chopper gunner was trying to get you to shoot him while you were in it which would also kill you. Maybe, idk
The mars sight is what mw2 called the red dot on the TAR 21, the red dot on the f2000 is in IRL a 1.5x optic
I love to treat it as a burst weapon, and spray up close when needed
The double edged sword of having more people playing MW2 and other older CODs is now there's more people that are gonna be running the most annoying stuff in the game

On a side note, I’ve scuffed all secondaries and have one man army on all classes with 2 of the same gun on class 1 and 2, 3 and 4 etc. this is because one class has SP and the other has Cold blooded. I’m so sick of UAV spamming to the point that I have to be able to switch to cold blooded on spot. I’ll still streak up and nuke with cold blood but man it does get annoying having to switch. It does come in clutch though when I call in streaks while noob toobing I can switch back and forth if they have a UAV. I like it

That gun doesn't suck, as long as you use it like an SMG. At long range, it's limited because of recoil, but you can burst fire even then.
Silenced F2000 with SoH+Lightweight+Steady Aim is a fun rushing class in objective modes, run UAV, CUAV, Sentry and keep placing turrets over high traffic sightlines and chokepoints
@QuarrelsomeLocalOaf Sounds like a good setup, but I gotta have scavenger on that thing lol. I've gotten used to the slower aim and reload, it's not that bad if you're a bit more careful rounding corners.

Dunno why that’s called the mars sight. But anyway that optic irl is a 1x6. They could have had that as the acog for the F2000.
F2000 with the holographic was the way to go if you wanted a good sight.
First nuke i ever got, f200 red dot with a naked deagle on rundown, got to 24 kills and ran outta ammo and got a headshot with the deagle for the nuke, me and the boys went crazy 🥲 I'll never forget that.

The worst thing about MW2 for me was how everything sounds "scratchy". Gun sounds, changing mags, everything sounds so freaking weird like you're scraping a broken glass against sheet metal.

This gun would’ve been better received if it was classed as an SMG. Then the difficulty controlling the recoil would be offset by better mobility, and Akimbo F2000s would’ve been wild!

When I was a wee lad I loved the F2000 because it was so cool looking and different. I thought it was a fun inclusion
I feel like the F2000 would be a better weapon if the reload speeds were faster. In concept it's not a bad weapon... it's just situational and requires a certain kind of playstyle to use it. Sure the recoil is high but if you burst or tap fire, it fires so ridiculously quickly that you're easily hitting multiple shots at once. And then if you use its full fire rate... it basically hoses enemies down. The recoil itself is pretty predictable too even if its high... so as long as you learn the pattern to which it fires, it's not even that hard
The main problem though is it has those accuracy troubles and relies on fire rate and volume of fire yet the reload time is so sluggish. You have a weapon that is designed for you to be messy and be a little liberal with your trigger finger which is my kinda style, but if you just waste one or two too many bullets, you get stuck with this slow-as reload. Compared to other weapons that have higher accuracy, better damage per shot, better ammo conservation (due to the lower fire rate) _and_ often faster reloads... the trade-off isn't worth it. It's like, the weapon has poor accuracy *and* it penalizes you for it. If it didn't have that one caveat, I think the gun would've been really useful in its own niche
Either they should've decreased its reload time or they should've increased the number of rounds in the clip to something like 40 (or at least something moderate like 36, so you have a few more rounds to work with). That's just my take
The MW2's F2000 would be pretty much OP in every COD after MW2.
It just that it happens to be the least OP weapon of a roster full of OP, weapons, along with the L86 and Uzi
M240B and the M21 were probably the most underwhelming primaries in MW2 imo
the F2K was a dope gun, recoil was fair giving its fire rate, my ONLY problem with it was the bullets dmg p-s was absurdly low, honestly not a bad gun very fun to use and rush with. a gun you never see often which is great, beats seeing corny meta acr users, but each to their own of course.

F2000 in MW2 and FAMAS in BO1 are similar,both have high damage and high rate of fire(matter of fact,F2000 have higher damage with stopping power than famas)but reason why F2000 was never considered OP is cause it's late unlock and high recoil,unlike famas which is early unlock and almost laser beam

hey fortunate here is a challenge idea, use one man army and switch classes for each kill till you get a nuke (double kills with the same gun are fine)
