Very very cool. Thank you for this! :)
I’m a sucker for an old photograph.
I have in excess of 1000 old Wirral pics, many of which I have posted on Facebook
Great collection 👌
It would be nice to have captions to say where each place is😊👍

the photo of shore cottage at thurstaton to the right where the wood is dose anyone know what that was. i firstwent there in 1967 and most of it had gone. we used to camp about 50 yards to the laft of the cottage bear in mind we where 11 traveled from norris green on the bus then the ferry and the 71a to eitherirby or the cross with our camping gear then if we where lucky jump on the back of a bin wagon down to the caravan park. dose the wirral journal still excist i live in the black forest but have many stories of our adventures around thustaton
that cottage is known as Sallys cottage my Dad used to carry me down those cliffs over his shoulder and he'd have my wheelchair under his arms while my brothers carried the fishing gear and we fished on Thurstaston shore
Anyone any idea where 6.25 is ,looks like a school, near the bridge.
That's Port Sunlight. The Bidge is Dell Bridge and can be found on Park Road leading over to Bridge Street. Still looks the same today, except there are now steps leading over the bridge!
I got West Kirby (from the air)
Any idea what ship that is at 7:50?
Too bad there is no narration. Mum is 94 but I don’t know what to tell her about the photos as I don’t know where the photos are set. She grew up on theWirral.
Hi.watch with the CC or subtitles on. Description are there.
First one. Trinity Road Hoylake?
