- The ANC has retained most of the Government of National Unity's National Executive.
This after President Cyril Ramaphosa announced his Cabinet appointments last night at the Union Buildings.
The new Cabinet comprises a diversity of political parties that are part of the Government of National Unity, including the Democratic Alliance, Inkatha Freedom Party and the Good Party.
To talk more about the business community's sentiments of the new Cabinet, we are joined virtually by Khulekani Mathe, Chief Executive Officer designate at Business Unity South Africa (BUSA).

I think that the people who think that this cabinet is bloated are failing to consider the amount of work and effort required to turn the many broken areas of our country around. I believe there is an acute underestimation of what needs to be done and the short space of time it needs to be done. As far as I'm concerned, the money spent on the GNU Cabinet and bringing in additional capacity of experts will be a wise investment for South Africa. It is my hope that the President will approve the hiring of additional experts who are ordinary citizens-to assist and ensure a quicker turnaround time. 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
First things first we should make it law that pensioners and government pensioners shouldn't be taxed or should not be taxed to an extent that they are not able to survive the life they had built for themselves while they were working and allow people that bought property not to pay housing tax for the meer fact that it's like paying rent for a house you already own, we should only be taxed for water and electricity because we still have to call the plumber or electrician if anything needs to be repaired anyway.

My main concern is, will legislation change so that affirmative action is removed along with quota cause there is no diversity without being fair.
Our security clusters are very important. Holomisa is already discussing the problem of firearms getting into this country and the border issue where everything is being smuggled into the country, especially these firearms. I guess there's hope for Holomisa in Defence and hope Angie will allow him to do his job without any disturbance from her having to run to the president after every discussion. Holomisa sounds like a person who knows how to deal with these high-profile criminals. By the look of things this country may get saver, let me continue to hope now that the General knows where to start working to get to the root of this crime in the country. Angie can take leave, including sick leave for a year. Ramaphosa will pay her for not being at work, and by the time she comes back, Defence will be much better, i believe.

The biggest problem is the VOTERS of South Africa.When you are given space and time to VOTE for a Party that is for the interest of the people like EFF you keep running to a corrupt ANC and now DA has taken over Education then you are complaining and crying .

Tell your precious EFF to join and stop making unnecessary noise from outside the line to go and keep an eye on those call people they don't trust. When will they be working for they supporters rather than making so much noise for nothing. Look at McKenzie and Holomisa they took all the insults being called sellouts, but yet they tried to start working rather than always having to criticize the ANC. Holomisa now is happy he got to see what the ANC have been doing along and why this country being having firearms they never used back then and where these firearms are coming from. On the other hand McKenzie wanted police or DOHA yet he didn't get both and he appreciated what they gave him and turned it into a positive plan how he will try and work in that department he didn't even think of.
