    Fascinating, I've been wanting to plant this in the garden with some time, but it's on my list of scary plants, so I still haven't sown it.

    Is it a native to Ireland, or was it brought in sometime in the past and has now become a resident? Thank you, it is a beautiful plant.

      p.p. John Feehan: it's native Helen, but there are many introduced species which occasionally escape into the wild.
