    • @franquil85conn
      @franquil85conn 5 лет назад +1

      @CRISTOBAL he did not have to apologize, refs make mistakes, they are human, but to say because of this mistake he is racist is ridiculous. Lets just follow your train of thought and say that he is a white racist and did it on purpose...he knows that this is watched by millions of people, on instant replay, so he would have to know he wouldnt get away with this racially sinister plan. It might be the worst call in MLB history, but there was a "worst call in MLB history" before this one and there will be after. You trying to make it about race makes you a race baiter

    • @franquil85conn
      @franquil85conn 5 лет назад +2

      Your first words, in your first comment was "Jim Joyce=Racist", so you did indeed call him a racist. 2nd, this isnt the 1940s and you are seeing racism where there is not. He laughed because its a blown call, same way lebron does when he doesnt get a call for a flagrant foul, or an obvious hold on a WR that was a blown call. No he didnt have to apologize, he did it because he felt bad. Refs make bad calls and dont apologize everyday. You are judging a bang bang play through the lens of instant replay

    • @franquil85conn
      @franquil85conn 5 лет назад

      @CRISTOBAL bullshit, big plays get missed in big moments, ask dez bryant. You accusing him of racism with no proof makes you racist yourself. All you saw was an older white guy, a blown call, and a Venezuelan....here is a report that Umpires get calls wrong up to 20% of the time. Look at all the racists. www.google.com/amp/time.com/5565906/baseball-umpires-mlb/%3famp=true

    • @franquil85conn

      @CRISTOBAL everything is racist through a race baiters eye...he missed the call, for you to assume racism with no evidence makes you race blinded...everyone THOUGHT he was out, which was confirmed on the replay, but there is many factors that come in to play. He made a bad call that cost this kid his place in the record books, it happens in EVERY SPORT, but you know, Racism.

Then he had the composure to know he just got robbed, not try and cry about it because he knew that nothing would change the call and got the next guy out.

      The way things played out, this is probably going to be the most memorable perfect game in major league history. The whole world knows the kid was perfect. This story goes beyond baseball though. Jim Joyce made the worst call of his career, and immediately owned it. He showed the world what it was to be a man and own up to your mistakes. Armando showed the world how to face adversity with the grace and class of a true professional. The lessons learned on the baseball diamond that night far transcend baseball itself.

    Everybody will remember the almost perfect game by Armando Galarraga.
    Nobody will remember the perfect game by Phillip Humber.
    Kinda goes to show you that in a weird way, Galarraga almost benefitted more from the bad call than not*
    *- said pitcher would take the right call any day rather than fame and a car.

      TaylorJ, are you serious? There are 27 outs in baseball, not 28.
      3 outs per inning
      9 innings
      3 x 9 = 27

    Thats class!! He won that Perfect game as everyone knows. People say well the ump admitted it was wrong and should be credited for admitting it. I say SO WHAT the ump admitted it. He robbed Armando of a rare perfect game. The instant replay should be allowed in any close play not say...well its not reviewable!!!! Disgusting. Lousy call by that ump I dont care how long he has been an umpire.

    0:06 dude doesn't know the rules. . . . . It was NOT a perfect game, because the 1st base umpire accidently got it wrong, and that's the way it goes down in the books. . . . . Therefore, technically, it's not a perfect game. . . ..

      A bit late but, Bruhh, Armando Galarraga was NOT making millions!! He was making the minimum
      of what players can make. Did you see the look on his face (and his teammates) when they gave him
      that car!!!!!!!!!! He couldn't afford that car with his salary LOL! TBH i'm sure he wanted the PG, but getting
      that car wasn't bad!! It wasn't bad!!
