Was fully expecting the typical “did you know sheik can pick up and throw her grenade????” and other painfully obvious beginner tips, but these are actually really good.
Yay! Super exited that I was able to be announced in one of these videos and while I’m not sure if these would be recommend now that one is in, here are some really short ones that are neat, Bowser recovery mix-up: While this one doesn’t have a name, bowser’s up b has this weird thing that if you mash the beginning, it would go up like normal, but mashing at the end gives bowser this weird boost, the idea is to skip the first part and then do exclusively the weird boost part, it’s kinda situational but as punishable his recovery is, this can be a neat mix-up Lucas invincibility cancel: This combines the popular tech up-smash cancel with Lucas’s invincibility on up smash that goes from frames 1-7, this can help go through some strong tools while also being able to continue neutral which I mostly see to help rush-down and bait Duck Hunt’s still side-b set-ups: when Duck Hunt’s side b hits the ground, it is still able to be shot and because most people are not aware of this and side-b can not only combo, but is now is completely still, you can get some nasty set-ups with this
Another cool Sheik tech I like to use is needle fidgeting, which is done by lightly pressing shield quickly while charging needles on the ground. This gets sheik out of the usual lockout, that can only be canceled by shielding, or spotdoging/rolling, and you can grab out of it. And it helps to mixup movement as well with b-reverses.
This is a really useful tech, and it actually applies to most charging moves! Samus can even do a similar move midair by cancelling her air dodge with zair
Love this series for starters. I think for lucas something I'd like to see people talk about more is his garunteed shield poke tech. Its pretty situational, but cool to have
I noticed you haven’t done ice climbers tech and I want to tell you the easiest way to do that awesome forward throw into nana forward air for deletion. First short hop up air a few times. Basically spam it until you hit the ground. When you hit the ground press Side B, it can be used for any other short nana only moves but you want side B because it’s the easiest. Then after nana is in the middle of side B walk and grab opponent at ledge. Which is usually a set up you do when they are recovering and you want them to do neutral getup. Than after you grab them which is easier when they’re sheilding, you jump and press forward a as nana is done with side B. And with a little bit of timing it’s a free kill. I usually use the soy milk desync to do this but up air up air is by far easier and needs very little practice to do
for puff i think it could be one of these: - pivot landing: if you land on the ground while facing the opposite direction and while you have some momentum, you will slide on the ground a bit. puff is the only character that slides a somewhat notable distance by doing this - 2 framing with pound: its not very well known that grounded pound can 2 frame recoveries (works the best on bowser, DK, plant, greninja) - parry rest option select: if you release your shield and first press down + b and then jump during the 11 frames of shield drop, you will buffer a rest if you land a parry, and a jump if you don't land a parry. especially useful against active nairs like fox landing nair
The only two techs for Piranha Plant that I know of is that he can make ptooies keep falling down while looking like it will get launched and another one makes Piranha Plant animation when canceling neutral b but instead launching the ptooie and I believe it has less lag on it. Both need really good timing and are good mix up options. If I remember correctly they are very similar in the way you perform them. Edit: The names of the techs are called Dropshot, and Spallow
For the incineroar tech I like the changeable a lot. Works at 0 against everything besides frame 1 and 2 options if done very precisely. It’s down throw, very delayed fast fall forward air, dashgrab, against the 2 heaviest you can do 2 too, even with di
For Dr mario the same thing applies as greninja upb is frame 3 and does a good amount of dmg so it won’t usually clank with other moves. Pretty good mixup to pull
For ike he has upthrow bair (and dthrow), it is very difficult to do, it works on 2 frame airdodges and it kills really early. With a bit of practice it can be consistent, if you're not lazy.
For lucario there is a reverse up b thing I can’t remember the name of. If you look at Zomba vs gachipi at 13:32 you will see what I mean. Think that’s game 4
For the sheik thing, just do a dair facing towards the stage. Still spikes ledge hang and ledge drop aerials and can 2 frame/catch high recoveries, but has no chance of suiciding. Easier to set up too, just run to ledge then roll towards ledge. You can just sit there and hold shield then dair oos to go for the spike.
@@shadowraith10 i’ll get it out asap!!! do you have any cool ideas for link tech? my link is super fundies based idk much about the specific things he can do
@@aann Man if you could get deep information about shinguard it would be really nice. It's a thing about bomb pull jump zdrop and shield, if done correctly it will stun people harrassing shield for more frames which can lead to unpunishable aerials, punishable

That Lucas tech is useless in practice
Semmie and kobe are the GOAT
(sorry aann, im biased)

It‘s cool but not sheik exclusive.

As a Falco main, I actually didn’t know this tech! Will use!
glad you found something fun!! it’s super fun to land fr
Hoping for “ball cancels” on Wii Fit. And “Spallow” tech is a must have when you eventually get to low tier Piranha Plant.
For lucario there is a reverse up b thing I can’t remember the name of. If you look at Zomba vs gachipi at 13:32 you will see what I mean. Think that’s game 4
I wonder what he will find for Ridley, hopefully not just downwards up.B spiking or fully charged fire balls being safe on shield

Was coming here to comment this same thing. 🫡
Mii gunner can combo the fire wall into charge shot.
Commenting to get the next episode out faster. I want to see Link tech as a Link main.
