As always I very much enjoyed your video. This was a very sad case. My heart goes out for the lady and her children. He was a cad of the first order. Since he had some medical training and you bought up the name of A. Conan Doyle it bought to my memory the Sherlock Holmes story the adventure of the speckled band were Holmes says " subtle enough and horrible enough when a Dr does go wrong he is the first of criminals he has nerve and he has knowledge. " R.C. and team l thank you all for your hard work putting out these videos. Words fail to express how l look forward to them. I wish you all the very best. Thanks and take care 🙏
How very kind! Thank you! You are most kind! 🙏 We know the story well - we could be wrong, but we believe the reference is to Palmer and Pritchard? Or is that a different story? The associations with Stevenson, Conan Doyle and the famous Dr Bell (we still believe he was the basis for Watson) was so interesting and shows how impactful this crime was at the time. Scotland is no stranger to extreme crimes, but was transfixed by this story. The poor poor woman - she had a really terrible decade of abuse.😔 Thank you again for your very kind comments and support!🙏
Eugène was an evil, wacko, piece of work. The poor girl lived in hell until her death. I hope she is at peace now. Thank you and your team for your reseach and video.
You said it quite well!👍He was an evil man.😡The poor poor young girl, and the children as well! That is a terrible environmnet to grow up in. We think our theory of the matrimonial act enactment could truly have been the trigger. She would , most likely, have been able to go through the divorce proceedings with a bit more assurance regarding her children. Such a terrible position to be put in with very few options out.😔Thank you, as always, for your very kind support!🙏
Eugène was a HORRIBLE individual!! Not only did he seduce and impregnate his 15 year old student, he abused her and was unfaithful after marrying her!! Poor Elizabeth!! She must've been ABSOLUTELY terrified of him!! I wonder what happened to Elizabeth's poor children?! I hope they were taken in by kind relatives!! Thank you for telling poor Elizabeth's story, Robin!! 💔😢💙👍💞❤💕
Yes, he was a nasty one! 😡 And once again, it is that long term cold cunning which is so scary. We do think he was the basis for Dr Jeckyl, but in his case, it was drink that converted him to Mr hyde. He supposedly could be a very charming man - unless of course you were a woman. 😔
Thank you - really glad you liked it! 🙏So very odd that it wasn't covered more fully in the UK - it is the kind of thing that would usually have certainly been all over the papers. Think we had our own things going on...🤔
Truly is a sad tale. That poor woman and her children. He was the epitome of evil. Hard telling what he would have done to the children if he was in charge of them.
To us, the crimes always feel more evil when they are so markedly planned out months in advance. Daily he was looking at her, and his children, and plotting her death in a calculated way. So awful. A true Mr hyde.😡
Another job well done. Thank you for your time and effort.
Thank you - so glad you liked! 🙏 It is the cold cunning of all this that we find particularly creepy...🫢
Thank you. Enjoyed.
Thank you - glad you liked it!🙌

Sorry, we apologise. We believ the children were taken nder the wing of her mother. Or at least, so we hope. 🙏
@@newsofthetimes I hope so, too!! I feel sorry for the 9 year old son, having to testify against his own father, poor mite!!😔
@@nadiabrook7871 yes, that is quite cruel, isn't it. Poor little guy. 😥
@@newsofthetimes I bet the children were petrified of their father too!!💔😢

Poor young girl. So tragic she met that cruel b-----d in the first place 😞
It really was. And within the constraints of Victorian society, she had very few options. Her life was so awful before it had really begun. 😔
So he was a cunning linguist?
Sorry Robin, my inner teenager got out again. 😋
😁 - Very good one!👍Really good one!😁
