- As children of God we are servants of God and we take our instructions and guidance from the HEAD, JESUS CHRIST, from nobody else. Jesus did not appoint leaders to guide us. He said One is your Leader, even the Christ Himself. Jesus is very serious about HIS CALLING and about OBEDIENCE to HIM alone. We read in 1 Kings 13 about a young prophet that God sent to go and deliver a message to king Jeroboam . I read from 1 Kings 13:7-9 after he had delivered his message "Then the king said to the man of God, come home with me and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward. But the man of God said to the king, if you were to give me half your house I would not go with you, nor would I eat bread or drink water in this place. For so it was commanded me by the Word of the LORD, saying, you shall not eat bread, nor drink water, nor return by the way by which you came." (But then something happened):11 Now an old prophet was living in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the deeds which the man of God had done that day in Bethel;" And this old prophet went and he caught up with the young prophet and he said to him :15-19 "Then he said to him, come home with me and eat bread. And he said: I cannot return with you, nor go with you, nor will I eat bread or drink water with you in this place. For a command came to me by the Word of the LORD, you shall eat no bread, nor drink water there; do not return by going the way which you came. And he said to him I also am a prophet like you, and an angel spoke to me by the Word of the LORD, saying, bring him back with you to your house, that he may eat bread and drink water. BUT HE LIED TO HIM. So he went back with him, and ate bread in his house and drank water."
See the king could not persuade him but he was persuaded by another prophet. We should not listen to other men of God, women of God. We are called to LISTEN TO JESUS alone.
"So he went with him :20-22 Now it came about, as they were sitting down at the table, that the Word of the LORD came to the prophet who had brought him back; and he cried out to the man of God who came from Judah, and said: Thus says the LORD, Because you have DISOBEYED THE COMMAND OF THE LORD, and have NOT OBESERVED THE COMMANDMENT WHICH THE LORD YOUR GOD HAVE COMMANDED YOU... But your body shall not come to the grave of your fathers." And we read further that :24 "now when he had gone, a lion met him on the way and KILLED HIM, and his body was thrown on the road, with the donkey standing beside it; the lion also was standing beside the body."
Dear friends, he was killed because he DISOBEYED GOD. JESUS is serious about His calling and when He calls us, He calls us with a PURPOSE and HE REQUIRES ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE. We must not listen to each other. Peter also stood in the way of Jesus. We read in Matthew 16:21-23 "From that time Jesus Christ began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day. And Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You. But He turned and said to Peter, Get behind Me, SATAN! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God's interests, but on man's."

@2KeepMeHumble Whatever man tells you, ask confirmation from the Holy Spirit. Trust NO MAN. Jesus guides His own sheep. We are here to point each other to Jesus, not to lead each other. ONE is our LEADER, ONE is our TEACHER, Jesus Himself. JESUS IS LORD, nobody else. ALL THE GLORY belongs to Jesus.

@TheEndtymsnatzal Dear friend, most people do not SEEK Jesus. They will study years for a worthless qualification but cannot pray and wait on Jesus for 5 minutes. They are just not interested. If we seek Him, we find Him. Jesus rewards those who diligently seek Him. I sought the Lord's voice for a long time. I get up at night and pray, people will, not so they receive not. May Jesus bless you.

I recall in the1990's, there were two instances that had I not been able to hear god's spirit and followed the hint or info, I could have been killed. Just a simple situation you would not expect problems.

One time I was l flyin my Piper Cherokee 140. The Annaul as up the next day. I had been loosing a quart and hour but not explained why. I was on final approach. I asked the Lord was it ok to go around and do another landing. Cannot say too much. FAA does not like pilots with Jesus as a co pilot in NEARLY literal terms. I was told NO. During the annual inspection they changed the oil. They started the engine and never got oil pressure (on the gauge). An oil line had been coming loose. I had about 5 minutes of flight left probably. I told my wife recently turns out she had something to be conderned about in that I realized this year (2017 or 2016?) I had been a test pilot as the aircraft had not been maintained before I bought jt.
I'm recently born again. I have been learning a lot from your channel and a few others , should I not listen to you ? I know the ultimate goal is to hear and obey Jesus , I am diligently praying and working towards that , repenting sanctifyinh . I look at you kind of like Pauls teaching lessons . I don't idolize you Its been motivational lessons . Thank you , I'm getting baptized soon. Am very eager . You are in my prayers
@classyt20f7 thank you wholeheartedly for your very kind and helpful words of warning guidance and counsel. It really means a lot to me. I have very much been skeptical of everyone , it does sound like we need to be utterly holy and sinless and hear The spirit guiding us. It can't help but feel incredibly difficult, even after totally changing my life , gutting it of everything . Even my job where I couldn't be around the vulgar talk , blasphemy, perverse music and anger. I have some money saved and am putting my faith in the Lord to lead me. I just can't get fully over the sins of thoughts, from bride and annoyance , envy , lust not even of women but food , I have fasted a bunch ,can't seem to get over 3 or 4 days , it discourages me . And then I just think about food more. Especially now that I have all day , no distractions, no job , just the Bible, prayer and attempts of feeding the poor and walking. But I still feel like they are all just rags. I have faith though . I'm not letting up, even with spiritual attacks throughout the night and day. I know Satan is mad . But he can get behind me. One more question before we leave chapter four of this great letter to the Romans. It comes from verse 22: "Therefore, it [faith] was credited to him [Abraham] as righteousness." So it says that faith is counted as righteousness. We saw this in verse 3: "Abraham believed God and it [his believing] was credited to him as righteousness." And we saw it in verse 5b, "His [the one who believes in him who justifies the ungodly] faith is credited as righteousness." We saw it in verse 9b: "Faith was credited to Abraham as righteousness."
Yes and his faith made him obedient. His obedience proved him righteous.
Thanks for your input!, As we walk in faith (trusting in Gods grace and that God is faithful in His promises to us), so in this, as we love God, (walking in sinc with how Jesus walked), because we have a piece of God, (Jesus) through the Holy Spirit in us who by default reveal to each of us at each moment of decision what Jesus did or would have done. When we listen to him, in our hearts, God begins to change us because we are facing and listening to Him instead of listening to our lustful form. This is the beginning of transforming by help of God through the Holy Spirit within us% when God says my grace is sufficient for us to succeed, what He is saying (and this is powerful my brothers and sisters), is that everything Jesus did as a human man, he felt pain, he was frightened at times just as us, but he listened to God through the Holy Spirit upon him, and because of that did not sin. It was just as hard for him as us. He was a man first by birth, everything else came after he lived first as a man. The difference was he wouldn’t take no for an answer. He listened and then did as the Holy Spirit instructed-him to do, just as the Holy Spirit does with each of us. God is simply saying, everything Jesus-had within him and at his disposal God also put in us. That’s why God sometimes doesn’t answer prayers directly, or it’s quiet for a while; it’s because the answer is already PRE-LOADED within everything else He put in us. Jesus says why marvel at the miracles I do, go and do these things,,,and MORE!, God isn’t testing us, He’s waiting for us to hear what to do and see us do it so He can issue the blessings and rewards. He is teaching us to continue or begin trusting in Him completely. Because before He created the heavens and earth, He personally handcrafted you, instilling your very characteristics along with your talents, skills, passions that would be great to be used serving the kingdom of God instead at your local Costco store (God bless to you Costco employees), but it goes further, God expects us to walk perfectly. (Oops I can hear a bowling ball drop), perfectly means walking in excellence. In everything you do, do it for God knowing fully that in everything you do from emptying a wast basket to helping the in-firmed to visiting a brother or sister in Christ in prison, or by running Exon Mobile, do it all as if God we’re to reward you that moment before his kingdom. Be the man or woman of God whim He is pleased In. Then, as we walk in light (in what I just said and in fellowship with one another, showing love to another even if you don’t feel it. Because as we do these few things then and only then after initial salvation by accepting Jesus as lord and savior, (by Gods grace, which is sufficient), then we are walking in Christ’s sufficiency, in fellowship with God himself, and at this point our salvation is guaranteed day by day (continuing in to eternity); by our sins continually being washed clean day by day, by the precious spilled blood of Jesus. Jesus has more forgiveness than you have sin. It’s all been seen before. Stop paying attention to short comings and ultimately glorifying the devils guilt trip. We’ve all had enough of that I. Our lives. What we are supposed to be doing is speaking and listening to God through the Holy Spirit within us. God is not dead. Jesus lives in you, everything Jesus ever did is within you: every decision he made to not sin is with you. Use it, that is what walking in faith is and walking in FAITH is the only thing that is counted unto walking righteously. Stop the teachings of demeaning the children of God, that we are all going to hell. That was never the news. The news is what was just shared with you. We can walk by self loathing which has gotten anyone No Where. What’s the alternative. You decide my brothers. As for my household, I’ll walk in faith. All of this is true faith (the only actual one), Jesus did not come to destroy, someone else did. Jesus came to heal, restore, reclaim. He came to actually save you. The interesting thing, is Jesus actually loved being the Son of man before being the Son of God, he said so. His service was for mankind so that God His and our father would be glorified. Go in love and peace. Walk as Jesus one single step, one breath at a time. And, one by one decisions you now make weather to listen to your worldly lusts, or what do you think Jesus would do, then begin to sense the Devine change transforming your walk moment by moment.
Your videos are very good full of truth as well as conformation on some things God has shown to me an or spoken into my heart. That sad part is many who confess to he of Jesus reject His truth and choose man made doctrines over Jesus and his truth and many are indoctrinated by lies to the point that when truth comes they reject it and refuse to hear it and some even wanna argue .. Prayer is needed for people in these last days that religion scales fall off the eyes of their hearts and they are able to see clearly the things of God .. Matthew Ch 24 tells well of what's happening today . Many will fall away due to offence . The offence will be truth which they will reject and instead receive what tickles the ears. Today folks rather what sounds good and applaud their life of sin. One with yue Holy Spirit knows God is calling his bride to come out of them corrupt church systems full of false twisted doctrines and to turn from sin and to Jesus. People today are calling evil good and good evil. Many who claim to be of Jesus they do the outward performances, yet inside they are far from him . Many will be shocked on that day when they say did we not do this and that in your name and he says away from me I never knew you ,you workers of iniquity..
Truth is those truly walking with the Holy Spirit dont want sin and rely on the Holy Spirit to help us overcome any we many struggle with . We hunger for righteousness and want to please God ..
We are called to believe and follow Jesus . Many have that backwards they claim to believe,yet they follow the world..
I firmly believe that God sometimes tests us by putting us into positions where everyone else is saying, “we should run” but the Holy Spirit is saying, “Hold your ground” or “press the assault.” These challenges show us that we should trust in God.

The story of the prophet who lied to another prophet and got him killed... always mystified me. The lion just sat by the body and did nothing as people passed by. Is that normal lion behavior?

Hey, I'm really confused here. I know that preachers and other believers can deceive us, and that we are ultimately supposed to follow Christ. However, I don't see how going to church is a bad thing. being around other believers and being encouraged by them seems good. And what about worshiping collectively in church? Are we to abandon everyone else? I have struggled with not having friends, and many of the friends that I now have, I have found in church. I thought that God had brought them to me, as I had prayed for believing friends when I was lonely. Is that not the case? Is every pastor of every church wrong no matter how sincere they are in their pursuit of Christ? I personally find that hard to believe, but I may be wrong. Many pastors reject the fallacies of many modern churches and strive to preach the true gospel. It would then seem that Christianity is a call to being alone.

God has commanded us to obey the gospel and the gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
If you are NOT obeying the command to obey the gospel that Paul preached then you are NOT saved.
