german engineering quality always blows my mind 🤯🤯🤯.... And you give this for free to the community. Thanks a lot for your hard work!! I appreciate every bit of it 🎉🎉🎉
I want to make a clarification for 247 printing: when cutting panels, DO NOT use a laser cuter, this will result in the panel exploding. Instead, use a frickin' laser cutter, which will prevent this from happening. (2:38)
Get a Goliath! Its from the VZBOT /VEZ Highend thing around 45mm³ are no Problem! But even with the Dragon ACE + Meltzone Extender i was able to melt 41mm³
I know Vez for years, I have one and did some package testing about one year ago. Big thing for a Voron0... Maybe it'll have a comeback, but it's better suited for bigger printers 👍
Leaving this comment here for 2 reasons. 1. Its finally here, great work!! 2. If anyone adapts rapido for the toolhead before i have the spare time to do the cad work please link it or tell me below where i can find it! I have a spare rapido HE i wanna use for this! Otherwise ill share a remix when i have gotten the time over to modify the toolhead :)
I'm curious: how fast can this thing go, without major sacrifices in layer adhesion or quality? Obviously, it's mostly designed to nyoooom, but I'm curious how much it can get done while still making functional parts.
You could reach out to the RatOS team and work with them on developing a pre made config and simple installation setup with wiring diagrams. Though they are really busy with the launch of VCore 4
Why would the RatOS team help a project that is build upon a 'competitor' machine? From a business perspective that makes zero sense. Costs them a lot of time and money, and might even rob potential customers away from their own user base. I doubt potential exposure would compensate for that.
@tHaH4x0r I mean it's not like they already have pre configured setups for voron machines... but what do I know.... And RatOS isn't done by strictly Ratrig employees 🙄
@@YouvBeenThumped Then we can agree to disagree. I do think we can agree that they are likely incredibly busy with the release of their new machines anyway, so probably will not have time for that in the near future regardless.
@@tHaH4x0r Doesn't mean he can't reach out to Miklshcmidt and talk to him about it for afterwards... I don't get why people have to act this way over an idea... Like go touch grass or find something better to do with your time
@@YouvBeenThumped Calm down man and re-read my first comment, did I ever tell you he can't? And act like what way? I am merely remarking that it doesn't make much sense for ratrig to focus their efforts on it, with an explanation why I think so. There is no name calling or being rude, and as far as I can see have only been completely neutral in tone, there's no need for you to be rude to me either. If you don't like different opinions or having discussions, I would highly recommend you refrain from posting comments in a comment section. Also I don't see how this has anything to do with touching grass, but whatever floats your boat.
I am incredibly glad that you are at the finish line of this wonderful project, your zero_247 is incredible. I expect you to complete the parts list and printer assembly tutorial. I want you to make a series of videos where you will show all the parts that are small and how you will assemble and configure this printer. I am the owner of VzBot330 and the biggest problem with the custom is that there is no complete tutorial on how to assemble your printer, when assembling the printer it was very difficult for me, like other VzBot owners. In my opinion, the Prusa instructions did a great job with their KIT and the Voron series of printers. It is difficult to call your printer a modification, it is a new printer based on V0. Makers who want a printer like yours will build a new printer, possibly using parts from their old V0. Therefore, I believe that you will not leave your followers without instructions on how to assemble such a wonderful printer, and will also release a series of zero247 construction videos. We will all support you and build zero247
I was looking for it, and finally - here it is! I probably won't transform my v0.2 into 247 completely, but some mods will definetely make it into my build. I also wondered if it is possible (or at least relevant) to make the 247's toolhead direct drive? I've been using micro sherpa for 2 months and I love it! It is light and really small. Such configuration would allow to print really fast with all the benefits of DD. Do you plan to experiment on it? Or should we take it into our own hands😏?
I have eagerly waited for this. What a great design! Probably going to try to make another hotend work. Great project for my semester break in summer. Would it be possible to upload f3d files directly for Fusion360 users as well?
Would love to see if it's scalable in size, i have multiple dismantled enders and CR10s, the zero is a little too small for my uses though, might give it a try to scale it up
why not try this with a Voron Micron instead? Being a small 2.4 its center of gravity would be much lower making for a more stable platform to do UBER SPEED with.
Viable question! But why not use a 200x200 V-Core 3.1 as basis? 247“zero“ is based on Voron „zero“. Though you are right: There might be better printer concepts to start a speed concept upon.
Hey Albert! Do you have quality profile for orca slicer for this printer? I would like to slice parts that I usually print and check how much faster than bambulab I can get them at quality
Hi, that’s a todo to test and publish, but in my „How fast is NextGen really“ video on BETA1 I did comparisons exactly on this - check it out - its mind blowing ☺️
Those x beams are crap. The mellow CF is too thin however may be good for a printer that small but the rail is not fastened properly. The rail can rotate on the beam. You need through hole with a printed insert mounting a la monolith. The noodle aluminium have no torsionl stiffness what so ever. Grab the toolhead and try to rotate it in Y. The goal is to not have it move at all even if using full force.
OMG 🥹 thank you guys so much! I've been a fan for a long time now, and this just proves how amazing you guys are. This is a piece of art. And you made it available for free to all of us to replicate and enjoy and learn! This is the true meaning of Open source and maker community. I just hope one day to be able to do the same and give some thing back, with quality like you did! Congrats!! 🥳👏👏✊

Braking is just accelerating in reverse, so in a way...
it's all fun until you hear servus! respect for german mad engineering !
Servus und danke!
Mega! Vielen Dank :) Hab schon die ganze Woche drauf gewartet 😊
Ich hoffe es hat sich gelohnt! Besten dank dir auch
"Frickin laser" awesome reference!
Nice to see this most, to me, anticipated release of your hard work!

You're a good looking guy 24/7 printing.
That's flattering :-)
I'm not going to build one of this probably but thank you for making it opensource, this is amazing :D!
Albert, Congratulations on your release.
I would love to build one and might do so by the end of this year!
Full speed or nothin
Can you make a version of this but with voron 2.4 r2 model not 0.2

I forgot to frick my laser cuter and now it's only interested in cute lasers.
Is it just me or does this look like it's straight out of Satisfactory? 🤔
Now let's build the voronator: by scaling up the Voron 247Zero Beta2 to 350 mm cube
Let's call it the voron 2.4
@@danielberkovich2964 Voron 2.47 :p

7 min benchy or so at quality speed. He made a video of it
please move the x gantry linear rail to be bottom-mounted so it doesn't accumulate dust as easily
Have you seen the LH-Stinger printer?
Seems to have an interesting idea for speed.
