The engine is very important part, some how they covered up in the show car, probably not finalize yet.

My sister in law owns crv, its paint is really thin layer, got scratch just because a cat sat on it. I own a 2013 city, which is OK in quality, but the paint is so thin, and the windscreen is thin as well, small stone chips enough to chip the paint and the windscreen.

The X50 is not only going to give the likes of the HRV, CX3 and CHR a hard time but models from other segments such as the City, Vios and Almera will also take a hit from this X50. We still have to wait for the pricing on the X50 but if it is priced very competitively then im pretty sure the X50 will be the best selling car for the year.

Which SC have bought the proper tools for major service and parts replacement for x70 and x50? 4.) Which SC has Windcreen or parts, for x70 and x50?
That’s not a proper tonneau cover for an SUV which you should be able to easily rollback into a smaller form factor and store somewhere in the boot. The one found on this X50 is for hatchback cars like in Myvi and Axia. Also panoramic sunroof is never a good idea for Malaysian climate and it’s an unnecessary extra cost which is passed on to the buyers. So if you want the TGDI power and level 2 ADAS then you have no choice but to also pay for the sunroof.
110K should be value for money for the Flagship. They may price the entry level at 75 - 85K and capture the other segements as well. Strategic pricing.

Nice overall design, but not a big fan of that overused fake brushed aluminium material in the interior which tends to be glaring on a hot sunny day. The ideal pricing for this X50 would be ranging from Rm72k to 92k.🤞
Haval is already dead in Msia. CHR is stop selling and stop production to give way to Corolla Cross and sames goes to CX3 giving way for CX40. Honda is lucky they have sell HRV long enough and concur the crossover segment for some time. It is time to hand over to X50.
Say what you want about Najib, but it was him and his administration that mainly pushed for an acquisition from an external carmaker and this is the product of it. A product quality that is double or triple its price point, whilst still being cheaper than competitors. If proton wasn't sold they would still be overpromising and underdelivering as usual

Lol. Persona and exora is an old model. After proton + geely, they started with tech sharing, even x50 is an improved version of coolray. Later they will start to dev locally design proton model.
Any organisation with small market segment cannot stand alone by itself. Proton need good parter to steer further in design, technologies and others. This JV looks promising.
Proton really brought the ball game to another level, it's always good when the competition is tough, now Perodua will make something to compete with the x50 & x70, it's gonna be real tough, but if they price it slightly lower than the proton's, then the ball will be in their court. However, I'm really digging the Proton cars nowadays, the quality is only getting better. Kudos 👍
