Wonderful story. The ending was a bit abrupt, almost as if it cut off (to be clear, the tell end. But the story itself felt that it had a resolution). But otherwise enjoyable. An interesting twist on being careful what you wish for.😁
I know. I tried cutting to make it longer in the end but it wasn't coming out right. It's the way this AI narrator "Daniel" uses voice. I remembered after hours of editing why I didn't like this voice for other stories. It leaves too many things sounding like open ended questions as opposed to closed statements. I just upgraded to a better narration pack as well as AI image generators. Hopefully investing real money into these subscriptions will produce better results. But putting money into this also means it's getting real...dun dun dun.
@gAyIstrange Ah, got it. Ya, that was it perfectly. It sounded like a question not a statement. Well, good luck with the investment and hope things keep improving. 😁
This story sounds like moving through Grief: his parent’s divorce, then the death’s - work can only mask and protect and submerge genuine pain for so long, so much. Poor Alex. Poor Charlie.
Thank you for the story. It's very touching inside. It's difficult for me to write I feel it so much. I'm glad you happen into his life
