Is The 2021 Audi Q5 Worth The Money?

- This week I spent some time in the facelifted 2021 Audi Q5!! This particular example came in the very base flavor of Premium package 45 TFSI !! Actually, this car was only a couple grand off of the $43k starting price of the entire lineup...
Despite that price, this car did NOT feel like a 'base' trim vehicle. With the exception of the missing sunroof, and the 18" wheels, I would not have even known just how base it was. This is a testament to what this facelift provides.
Sure the outside may look a bit sharper, it's been brought into the new decade and now matches the current Audi design language a bit better. But the real star of the show is on the inside, where you get a lovely and updated touchscreen MMI system which completely revamps how you interact with the car.
Furthermore, the car now makes a bit more power and receives a mild hybrid system which aids its auto stop/start feature... bringing the car to and from a stop much much more smoothly.
All in all, I was not only impressed with this facelifted Q5, even in the Premium 45 TFSI trim, but I actually now feel as though the Q5 has regained its footing in the ever expanding and competitive SUV/Crossover scene!

What adapter are you using for your front plates
I got the 2022 updating from a 2018 and agree about the many improvements. It’s smoother, quieter, peppier, no wind noise, takes bumps better, and the touchscreen is surprisingly fast. I was going for an X3 M40i that BMW kept delaying and in the end don’t regret it. I could not convince myself for the X3 30i because the Audi feels so much better, other than BMW’s sportiness, however is louder, feels less luxurious, less comfortable, the seats aren’t as comfortable and the sound isn’t as good. Two gripes on the Q5, sluggish navigation system and radio keeps switching to Carplay. I agree about the sport seats my old had it and miss the thigh extension, however just went on a long trip and must say the standards are very comfortable, a little softer

I have this car and can’t wait to get rid of it. I drove a Genesis GV 70 today, WOW, a real wow.
Ok... that really has me thinking. Have yet to drive any of the Genesis products, but I really like how the GV70's in particular look!

Those two bobbles are sensors for adaptive cruise control. Well the one on the passenger side is and the one on the drivers side is a dummy for symmetry
Ya that's what I figured, but it's interesting that they put em on all A4, A5, Q5... even ones like this clearly have no ACC. Why put two duds instead of just none?
@@Reoniz My 2014 Q5 Premium S-Line has front and rear parking sensors which are in those spots I think. Many cars now only give you rear parking sensors. No adaptive cruise control on this car.
2014 Premium had 2 fr [1 under fog light & 1 below grill] and single rear sensors.
I also have fr and back fog lights which is unusual but nice to have.

Thank you! I think the brown interior goes best with just about any exterior color, and Navarro is no exception.
As for exterior preferences... I'm simple and love Ibis white (aside from the Quantum gray offered on the SQ5) ... but Navarro is tied for 2nd place alongside Florett silver 😎👍

I drove my ex bf’s 2020 Audi Q5 prestige package vehicle for a year and I really liked it. I also test drove the 2021 BMW X3 and it drove nice. It looked smaller in person then on screen dimension wise. I’m curious about the Mercedes GLC. @Reoniz can you do a review on the GLC?

Does the Q5 come with a heads up display?
I believe it only comes on the Prestige models, but that may have recently changed

Ya it's not the best steering set up, certain you inferior to the X3 in my opinion, but something felt better about this facelifted Q5!
