Skip to 23:26 to find out why I've been absent if you want! It's a long story. Sorry guys. I've been having a tough time, but I'm back now! I hope you've all been well. The next video will be the Top 10 RuneScape Invincibility Bugs. :)
I deal with anxiety and panic attacks everyday in my life. I can honestly say "I know how you feel" because I have it. Everyday I'm more and more demotivated it seems like and on top of that it doesn't seem liked it'll ever go away. The more you learn to cope with it, the better it will be. It's not something that goes away sadly. I wish you luck man.
+Mote Plox Dear Mote Plox, Regarding the anxiety thing I do have it myself but I do know some things that can help you quite a bit, these aren't guaranteed to work every time but can help perhaps with your attacks in the future: First off anxiety is a mental illness that is hard/near impossible to get rid of however it is easily manageable once you can recognize the signs of panic with you specifically. Second, don't try to logic your way out of it. Anxiety is your brain's primal fear system on high and can't turn off from rationally thinking, that doesn't mean after you can't think of how to stop it. One of the better ways of stopping an attack is changing gears or shifting your thinking/mood. For me I always start falling back to primal directions like "I'm washing a dish, I have 5 dishes left to wash" and go from there. Third, if you're afraid or don't know what it does, do seek an anxiety help class, most have a small fee (mine was like a $12 one time pay) for the stuff and it really helps. The other people in there are those with anxiety too so don't feel discouraged about going, it's meant to help not hurt. Lastly and most importantly, make sure you are happy with what you make. Top 10's are popular but it's your channel and whatever content you want to put out there should be a big priority. I'm not saying stuff like "if you like it watch or leave" but perhaps work out a schedule or something you can do. A community is great, and followers/subscribers are awesome but don't let them dictate what you do. Anyhow if you want to chat more about stuff like this please hit me up or perhaps look into someone more professional than me, otherwise glad to see you're back and definitely going to be subscribing to see what new content you crank out. Cheers, Thomas Everstorm
On a more serious note, I know what it's like to deal with anxiety. It's miserable, and nearly impossible to explain to someone who hasn't experienced it. I missed an appointment with my doctor fairly recently, and ran out of my medication. I ended up spending around three hours laying on my floor. Not sleeping, just paralyzed. Doing every day tasks like talking to a cashier or picking up something from the pharmacy can be difficult. I get anxious when friends message me. I hate talking on the phone, and never pick up calls from numbers I don't know. Even when I'm out with friends and having a great time, part of me is still very anxious and ready to leave as soon as possible. I would say I've had less than 10 full blown panic attacks before, but they're likely the worst feelings I've ever experienced. One resulted in me getting in a wreck. My only real advice would be to take your medicine as you're supposed to, a single dose missing can really through things off sometimes. Also, be honest with those around you about how you feel. Like I said, it's pretty difficult to explain to someone who hasn't experienced it, but others knowing how you feel allows them to understand what you're experiencing and to be able to help you more properly. Consider seeing a therapist if you don't already. There's a lot of negative stigma around them, but when you find one that is a good fit for you, they can prove to be very helpful. Good luck my friend.
Good luck Mote. I've only had two panic attacks when I got my wisdom teeth taken out. I'm not a fan of blood in my mouth, and after it being that way for ~5 hours I guess I just couldn't take it anymore. My mom's a nurse, so she made me use a paper bag to fix the hyperventilation I was experiencing during it. Take a load off, go on a vacation, just straight chill out for awhile. No need to rush anything. Your health is your number one priority, don't let us get in the way.Whatever it takes mate.
I'm from Brazil, and I really like your videos, I've played Runescape from 2005 to 2006, then 2008 to 2011, and the way you make your videos still gie me some nostalgia of the good ol Runescape. Hope you get better.
mote plox lookin like a fresh runescape botting account jk but seriously man i hope you feel better and keep your channel going, at the end of the day only make videos if you yourself enjoy it
Mad respect Mote Plox, just started watching but you seem like an awesome dude, and you are super entertaining! Had lots of anxiety over this past year with student debt getting good grades, and just a whole lot of stuff that comes with school. However, just finished my first year of college, and am beyond glad that its done.
Just discovered your videos and have spent a week watching a bunch of top 10's! I really enjoy your sense of humor and find your voice very soothing. LOL. So sorry to hear about your health problems, hope you find a good balance to your life that includes more great videos as well!
yeah, ive been struggling with anxiety for almost a year now, it gets in the way of my work too and im actually going on a week without being there, thank you for offering to try and help, but im not even sure how to help it, just medication and coping like you have been doing really.
you'll get through it man, just know that there is no rush to push out vids as long as they are good...vids are always great so I don't mind waiting at all...your vids honestly become apart of my daily routine haha! keep doing what your doing!!
Hope you're feeling better man! I missed your videos dude they get my mind off things and alleviate my stress a lot. Get well, and I can't wait to see more content!!
For 12 years I had severe anxiety, severe depression (suicidal at a few points), OCD, Insomnia & ADD. I am 24 years old and when I turned 23 my psychiatrist told me I was free of all of it besides minor OCD & spurts of depression but I am medicine free as well. The biggest thing that took me the longest to understand is you can't put one reason or blame it on anything. It's simply a mindset. If you put yourself in situations that aren't familiar or you are worried about something even if you convince yourself it's minor can trigger an attack. I used to be incapable of talking to Waiters or Waitresses & telling them my food wasn't what I ordered. I started reading up and putting yourself in situations that are uncomfortable or over-bearing became the way i got over it. The best which may sound stupid was simple breathing exercises when I wake up or anytime I was feeling stressed. Go somewhere quiet or listen to soft music (I swayed to nature cause it felt right but comfort-ability is objective) sit indian style or lay flat on your back, let your hands rest & anytime a thought comes to your mind focus on your breathing and/or shut it out with a soothing neutral color. The more you do the exercise the more that the situation on your plate becomes less stressful. I hope you see this or someone see's this & this helps & my inbox is always open :)
Its so good to see you back and well, I try to catch the streams when I can but living in the UK and the massive time difference makes it hard, i'm happy to see that your alright and well
I'm in the Marine Corps and I literally went through the same thing. About 3 months ago I started having chest pains and had to go to the hospital three times cause I thought I was dying. After weeks of testing they said I either have asthma or anxiety, and I know I don't have asthma so they know it's probably anxiety but I can't deal with that right now, and I can't just take a break so it's been rough. Just do what you love, try not to stress yourself out and it'll be easier. That's how I try to live day to day. Have a great day and Semper Fi.
just whatever you do.. never let your doctor prescribe you Xanax, Kpins, or any other benzo except for Ativan. I've been prescribed every benzodiazepine under the sun and I'm 21, I know what works for me at least.. talk to your doc about Ativan. works marvelous. been on it for 4 and a half months and I don't get no where near the side effects of the other benzos. every other benzo I was prescribed made me foggy headed and almost suicidal.. best of luck
Welcome back, you're 1 of the main R.S RUclipsrs that inspired me to start makin' my own vids lol. As for the panic attacks, I never got em that bad but my own cure for the minor 1s was to just let go & not give a shit. I know that goes against every impulse at times, especially if you really are a caring person like I used to be. It does work though, I promise you that.
I have the same exact problem Mote. Just remember, you're not alone. Once you have one, its always lingering with you. I didnt have one until 2 years ago, suffered with it ever since. It doesnt go away....
I started to get panic attacks like a year ago and mine weren't extremely severe, but I know what helped me was to just try to be as stress free as possible. I know everybody has their own things going on that causes them to stress, but it's good to try to keep positive outlooks on things. (For example providing content for everyone, don't worry about pleasing everyone because it's just not possible. Your fans will support you no matter what content you create and will understand that you need a break! We're all humans!) Awesome vids man! Hope this helped even a little bit! :)
Just putting it out there, I really like these progress videos, just as much, if not more than top 10's. Hope you're feeling better. We've all missed you ;)
Wahey, I've been checking every other day or so for the past two months to see if you've uploaded a new video! In all seriousness, glad you're back and glad to hear that you and your family are doing fine.
I've been gaming a lot for the last like 5 years, a lot meaning atleast 8-10 hours a day minimum. I never use to think much about anything then one day I started to have massive anxiety very similar to yours. I actually found the best way to solve this issue was a change in routine and having a full routine. Like work specific hours for gaming things like that. I found filling my time changed gaming back into a privilege because I didn't have as much time to do it, there fore not having so much time stuck in my own head giving me anxiety attacks. It helped me hopefully helps you or anyone reading this to. Keep busy guys your not alone and most of all good luck!!
Hey Mote, glad to see you back. I've been missing my old nostalgia trips with whatever it is you have to be doing RuneScape wise. While I can't enjoy the game as much as I used to when I was younger, I always really enjoy your uploads. You're really the only osrs streamer/content maker I watch. I've had issues involving depression and anxiety all of my life and it's affected me in ways I'm sure you're only just now finding out how to deal with them. Honestly, the panic attacks themselves are the scariest; they hurt, take you out of your reality for a minute, thoughts just rush through your head, and you feel like you're just going to collapse and you can't escape this feeling. I failed my driving exams three times when I went to take them simply because of the anxiousness alone, and yet I am now a delivery driver with a clean record after four years of driving. What you do on here is amazing and it truly shows you passion for the game and for all the people you've met while making these videos and all the ways you've made me laugh since I discovered your channel. Honestly, the best advice I can give you when it comes to the attacks, is just to know that they can happen, and when they do, you just need to stop, sit down, take a breath, close your eyes and just relax. They're scary, but the way I've come to know them is, "This is my stress, this is what is telling me to sit down, close off, and disappear. Use what you're feeling to push yourself further, overcome what's in front of you, and to push harder than ever before. Focus, breathe, and just go with it." I'm tired and a little clunky at writing, but you definitely made me want to speak out and say I'm here for you. Whatever videos that come out, it makes my day to get that little feeling of nostalgia from my favorite rs youtuber/streamer. Let me know if you're ever in Tulsa, it'd be to come say hi :D
I think the worst thing you can do to yourself is worry about being anxious, because you worry, then you get anxious about it, then you get even more anxious because you're anxious and it's a never ending cycle. sometimes medicine can make it better, sometimes it can make it worse. you're going to be perfectly fine. the best thing to do is get away from whatevers making you have these panic attacks, whatever you find yourself thinking about that brings them on, take a break from it. even though we love your videos we understand if you need to take some time off.
Hey Mote; I have Anxiety and Depression. I got diagnosed about a year ago. Like you I've never been one to feel anxious or depressed. However one morning I woke up and had severe chest pains. I went to work and came home early because I thought I was having a heart attack. Went to the doctors and had blood checks and heart checks. the works. I was fine. So I was super confused. So for about 2 weeks I had these chest pains and called the doctors many times asking if they were sure that it wasn't anything to do with my heart. and I called the ambulance a couple times also. A doctor finally got me to go see a psychologist and they diagnosed me with Anxiety & Depression. It's more seasonal however. I'll get it REALLY bad for a week or two then it will go away for a few months then come back. And it's the absolute worst. Crying for absolutely no clear reason and not wanting to do anything or move. My point Is I know exactly where you are at man and it sucks, It really does. But you learn how to deal with it when you do start to feel south. When the tough times are there try and surround yourself with family/friends as hard as it may be it's one of the best things to do. You're a great video/content creator that I admire greatly, and I hope you're able to fight through this and make more youtube videos and stream and come out above this all! Thanks and hopefully I will see more of you now. :)
I use to play runescape for a few years back in 2005-2011 and just found your channel now , I'm going to make a old school runescape account when I wake up tommorow :)
Good to see you back, Mote. I was very worried about you there for a while. You're my favorite Oldschool Runescaper. I'm glad you're okay and doing well. I don't have anxiety, but I do suffer from bi-polar disorder. Basically, I can be happy one moment and then become depressed two minutes later, which, in a shortened sense, I have uncontrolable mood swings. It's not easy and it never goes away, much like your anxiety. But you learn to live with it and cope. Sometimes isn't easy, and you do need a break. Anyways, sorry to hear about your struggled, it really fills me with joy to see you back, man, it really does. Do whatever makes you happy, and I'm glad to finally know what's going on with ya, bud, peace. :)
Wow what a coincidence. I was just looking around your channel yesterday man wondering where you had been. Glad to see you back. And as a fan who doesnt even play runescape you can definitely believe we come here for you. Keep up the good content bro. My past couple months have been crappy as well, anixety as well, even since school. And yeah.. You are kind of stuck with it. Its just a matter of mind over matter and trying to keep yourself in check. Just never let your own mind poison your judgement. Always get input from other people. Cheers Mote.
Mote, I recently have been goin through anxiety too. Panic attacks out of nowhere and having to call an ambulance because of chest pains, only thing I've found to help is dark or low light and music. Hope all the best for you and the family, glad to see you back and I hope you can get a handle on everything I would love to hear that you're not goin through any attacks or anything
My dad suffered from anxiety, that shit's no joke my man. Do what you gotta do. Don't worry about anyone who doesn't understand. Stay healthy and do what you can to maintain yourself, that's most important.
These progress videos are actually legitimately fun, and I hope I'm not alone in saying we'd be happy to watch these for a while. Could just be because my membership ran out, but yeah these vids are cool. :)
Hey Mote Plox, I have been suffering a lot recently in the past few month with serious anxiety, it got so bad in the last month that I had to take the past 2 weeks out of work as I literally couldn't bring myself to be in public and during those two weeks I actually got back into runescape, which is where I found you so I haven't been around for long. During the last two weeks I have been watching your videos non stop and it has been helping me get by with the way I am feeling. It's horrible to think that you are going through something so similar but it's also good to know that you're not alone, and everyone is here for your support. If you ever need to chat or anything, hit me up!
Im suffering from a pretty deep depression and with that comes panic and anexiety attacks! I really hope everything works out for you and that you know that your fans will always be here for you! The best that I found works for me while handeling panic attacks is by just ignoring everything, I usally just lay down, read, watch a movie or listen to music! Take care man and its great youre back! (English isn't my native language so I hope my errors wasnt to hard to deal with)
dude, no worries. I have anxiety attacks as well. I should probably go to the doctor for it at some point... have not gotten around to it. glade to see you are OK and so is your family. just so you know you have a whole community here for you dude. just happy to see that you are ok.
I have been depressed about 7-8 years, it took 2-3 it to get to point were I started to get panic attacks and horrible anxiety. I have been in therapy 3 times, and everytime left it unfinished. Still today, I am depressed, but I dont have almost any panick attacks anymore(only whene im feared of life/really stressed out), but I still have some anxiety. I have never been on any medication (My personal choice, ) It's been been hard, it has taken lot of time of my life and still does. But in the end, I can say it will get better, BUT you have work for it! You need to give yourself time and space to heal. The hardest part is to realise what in life, in you or around you, makes you feel that way, and in the end understand what you need to let go, to understand what brings balance to your life. :) We are here with you, dont worry for us, those who really enjoy your videos should be okay in waiting and still enjoy what ever you enjoy to record. I send you and your family lot of hugs (or pats on shoulder, witch ever you prefer). I love your videos, and started to follow you in twitch (and downloded twitch just to subscribe you) :"D Your awesome, no worries, be happy
@Mote Plox Hey man I wish there was a place where I could tell you this aways from thousands of people's eyes but yeah. I started watching your videos about a month ago and you're actually my second (I only have two) subscription on RUclips. It's really great to see someone with such a good attitude still on osrs. A lot of people are pretty shitty that I've come across so I just kinda stick to my own and train skills. Anyways I just wanna thank you for coming back and making videos for us as a community again even after what happened. I dont have much exp (haha) with what you are going through but I think I have social anxiety pretty bad. So I get you on a small level, but a break for everyone is good from time to time. Anyway thanks for making videos and being awesome man. Happy Scaping :) btw congrats on 81(?) slayer. I have 60 shades. shades are a bitch.
Hey Mote. My name is Cody, I'm 22, I'm a sergeant in the Army. I'm deployed overseas right now. I started watching your videos over here. It helps me get through the day, and I really look forward to them. So, you asked if anyone else has anxiety. Well I can't go into detail, but I've seen things here. Things that make it hard to sleep. I stay up for days at a time, I carry the stress everywhere I go. And when I come home, I'm going to have to go to the VA hospital for medication. But yeah man, you aren't alone. I promise that.
Was just wondering where you were at! Hope your doing well man, I've recently suffered from random panic attacks but only one was severe and the best thing you can do is just deep breathe and try to make yourself realize that everything will be okay and try not to get super overwhelmed with everything. Hope your doing well bro.
Sup, Long time scaper and sufferer of anxiety and panic attacks. As Mote said, there is no "cure" for anxiety per se, but there are things that I personally do to make it easier to go through day to day. Here I'll do a list: *1.* create a "Chill" playlist on your phone/iPod/whatever. It can be anything from musac to some of your favourite tunes, just something that you whip out and listen to when you feel on edge. *2.* After busy or stressful days, give yourself some time, anything from a few minutes to a few hours, to basically do nothing. Just lie or sit down and either listen to your chill playlist, (try to) sleep or just daydream. Just so your mind can unwind. *3.* I find that breathing exercises work when Having a particularly "Bad" day. Just slow breaths in through the nose, hold for about 3 seconds, and then out through the mouth. You'd be surprised just how well it works. *4.* Cut down or cut out caffeine from your diet. It does no favours for anxiety, and as I former caffeine addict, I can say without a doubt that cutting down on my caffeine intake has not only my anxiety levels but also other parts of my health. Anyway, those are some of the things I do. I have no Idea if any of these will work with other people, just stuff that works for me.
Hello Mote Plox! Stepping in for a minute to give you my experiences with anxiety and panic attacks since the age of 9. Today I am 24 and I still have problems with it from time to time. You definitely should not listen to the people telling you that you will be stuck with anxiety for the rest of your life. But I won't sugar coat it either: You might have to deal with it for the rest of your life, but that doesn't mean it's treatable to the point where you might not notice it at all. Things have been especially good this past year and I rarely have panic attacks now because I have so much to do every day, in a positive way. The most important part is to talk to someone (Or it is to me at least). I started seeing a therapist years ago, which started out really stale, but I grew more comfortable the more times I saw him and I ended up talking to him about everything. One day could be about the most unimportant of things, like how my day has been and whatnot, and another could be about childhood and all the things I felt anxious about for the moment. Medication is helpful and should be used when necessary, but having someone to talk to while using medication is extra important, otherwise the drugs are just like sweeping the problems under the rug and one day it will burst out and you might feel like absolute crap. Another good advice is to cut back on stuff with sugar and caffeine, like soda, coffee, energy drinks, etc. As caffeine and sugar might give you more anxiety with the temporary energy boosts. Combining this with some kind of exercise is also something that has helped me a lot. You don't have to hit the gym, just run for half an hour every other day, do some push-ups, sit-ups and other simple exercises every morning! I haven't been subscribed for long, but I love your videos, man! Stay safe and remember to always prioritize your health over this channel!
i struggle with anxiety/paranoia (along with depression and other mental illness) and the best thing i can tell you to do is just go for a walk, do something else to distract your self from what you think is bothering you Pills work amazing and so does therapy if you feel you need it
Welcome back! nice to now that u're fine. I'm form Brazil and I really like your videos, thus ain't stop doing the videos please, and the streams too. (sorry for my English, i trying to get better)
These progress videos are sooo nice to watch, I know you have some problems outside of the youtube world, but I'd be sooo happy if you made some more of these videos.
I feel you bro, I used to get panic attacks too on my last year of high school. The doctors said it was because of stress, though I didn't feel any anxiety at the time. They stopped once I was done with the school and didn't get any until few years ago, probably because of personal life issues that severely increased my stress. I never got any medication for them but they seemed to go away on their own. Anyways, just wanted to say that it's OK to take a break from making videos every now and then. There will always be people who are upset because of that, but I'd like to believe that's just the loud minority. Besides if you burn yourself out, there would be even less videos. I really like all of your videos. I recently returned to OSRS and have been binge watching your vids, including the progress videos :D
Welcome back Mote, loved the video glad to see you are well. Looking forward to the content to come. Have a great day Mote, I'll probably stop in the stream and say hello and watch for a bit.
Mad respect man. Anxiety and panic sucks to have to deal with, bit I can tell you that it does get better. The number one key is to be completely honest with yourself. Understand that the medications are going to be changing your brain chemistry a bit and that they can do a LOT of good things. I have never been a popular youtuber so I cannot truly understand the daily stresses of making content and keeping your viewers coming back. My humble advice is to not ever stop having fun with it. There will always be people that bitch about your videos. Remember why you started making these videos. If it ever stops being enjoyable, I would ask that you stop making videos because you are not doing yourself justice. I love watching your content, and I am glad that you are back. Just know that you have the support of your fans (at least this one) for many years to come. End soapbox.
Glad to hear you're back Mote! Hope you feel better, as time goes on it always gets better. If you ever feel down look at pictures of baby animals it will almost 100% make you smile, except for baby humans they're scary af.
I got diagnosed with severe social anxiety in February so I know how you're feeling. It's not fun, and unfortunately it isn't something that is easy to get rid of. However, there's always people to go to, even if it's something small. I've learnt to just ride it out now, as worrying or getting annoyed about it actually makes it worse :( wish you all the best.
Man, you should never need to apologize for a hiatus. I honestly needed a break from the game as well myself around the same time you took off so I never really noticed you were gone. But when I saw the video in my sub list on youtube today it reminded me that I haven't seen a video from you in a long time. As a doctor myself I believe that no person should be doing anything that is detrimental to their health. Your job is also no exception. People in all sorts of businesses get time off and so should you. Like you said you're human too and I'm sure all your fans understand that, myself included. Get better and when you do we'll be able to enjoy your content at its best quality. We're all behind you my friend! Never forget that you have our endless support!
Dealing with anxiety is a bitch, I always worry about about my health even though theres nothing wrong with me and going through some rough shit with family situations.. but there are ways on trying to calm down for when you have a panic attack and such. For me, I just enjoy being around my friends, and family, and finding stuff I like to do to take my mind off of it, like playing runescape or any game really. I've actually wanted to make more videos too. Even simple stuff like taking deep breaths can help out a lot, thats most of the ways I try to calm myself. Also realizing that many people suffer from anxiety and knowing you aren't alone. Glad to see you are making videos again, ive been watching your streams from time to time. Hope all goes well for you 👍🏻
welcome back mote! good to see you're well (all things considered) Also glad to see a progress video. While I enjoy top 10s, the the progress videos are the ones i really like. Have laughed so much with them. Well done.
I have anxiety, depression, and ptsd. I was taught to coop with it via some breathing techniques and thinking about different things. The Ptsd i cant really coop with, i just try my best to ignore it, even though it causes panic/anxiety severely. Best advice I can give you is just clear your mind and breath slowly for 5 seconds and then breath in for 5 seconds. I still haven't found out how to deal with my depression, usually being around friends helps, otherwise i just runescape/sleep or cry untill i feel better :P you are not alone my friend
Hi mote, ive lived with anxiety and depression since late 2014, it started just like u said, i had heart pains and it was racing like crazy, i started to cold sweat and my stomach felt very nervous. the main problem most ppl have is that they think its somthing else (just like you mention in the video, u thought it was ur heart) and that can cause the anxiety to intencefy ALOT, my best suggestion for you is just to give it time, there is obviously somthing in ur life that makes u anxious. take care of it, if u cant really put ur finger on what the issue is, go see a pshycyatrist??, they are superb on figuring out your problem, anyhow man, i hope you are feeling better soon and take care of yourself, and remember it can only get better!
Hey love the videos man, I love watching them while I'm training my combat skills--thank you for the great content, I hope to see your channel continue to grow C:
Just know that there are a lot of people out there with anxiety also. Keep your head up! I've had bad anxiety since I was really young and just finally 20 years old I've finally learned to live with it.
i've been dealing with it for 2 years now, i'm in 11th grade and had to stop attending public school and get home schooled because i couldn't sleep and would have panic attacks all day long. I'm also on laxapro and it has helped, anxiety is a terrible thing but it does get better it just takes time. Keep your loved ones close and you can get through it. Anyway love the videos man
I'm super glad you're back man. I subscribed only a couple days ago and I was scared I subscribed after you quit RUclips! Glad I was wrong. Your videos are awesome.
I've had anxiety problems for a while and the symptoms just come and go. For me my heart rate will randomly jump up to like 200 BMP for a few minutes and it would just scare the crap out of me, I thought I was dying. After multiple trips to doctors telling me it was just anxiety I just convinced myself that it's not life threatening (because the doctors weren't worried about it) and that it's just an annoyance. When I realized that I stopped worrying about it as much and now only get them on very rare occasion.
I have a bad anxiety disorder. sadly yes it is something you are stuck with, but you need to find was to cope with it. (meditation, exercise, ect.) another thing that's helped me is to keep myself distracted with other things I enjoy. from card games to video games. I came off my medicine a year ago because I did this. it will take some work, but with time you can get yourself o the point of not needing those pills anymore. but one thing is don't be afraid to try new things because of these attacks. its a part of the coping process and you will learn from it too. hope you get better, and keep going on with what you do best.
you uploaded this on my birthday. I'm drunk. I feel your feels man.. I spent a good 24 minutes trying to get on to my old runescape youtube account. totally worth it. the most recent vids on my channel are actually a lot older than what it says. completely irrelevant I know. thanks for the update man. It's a good reminder that updates are good for those who care about us, even if us as an individual feel like we are alone and no one gives a shit. You are never alone, even if you are alone. You always have yourself. stay awesome
Awh, hope you get better soon :(( Was that actually your mom in the comments section of your last video, that was responding to everybody? She seems very nice to do that :)
+snapdr4g0nz My mom always responds to comments. :) She helps out a lot. She's always reading me messages through out the day of comments everyone leaves on the video! She loves seeing all of it, just like I do!
get well soon bud :) .. I've only had a panic attack once but it was for a very good reason so I can't say it happened out of nowhere, but when it comes to anxiety, I've started getting it really bad around 2 years ago, before that I'd never get it at all so it took a while to take it all in, it sucks dude, but then again I guess it just gets a grip on people.
im the exact same way dude, been fine for my whole life, no anxiety or pressure whatsoever. Come fourth year of university i keep getting asked the cliche questions like "what are you doing with your life" and "what is your plan after school", shit like that. started giving me depression and anxiety (im self diagnosing but i know the symptoms and definitely have something along the lines of that). it takes a toll on you dude, relationships, health, happiness... all that shit. The best advice i can give you is just find something to escape all that bullshit. i know this sounds silly because of the relevance but playing runescape really numbs that awful feeling because i just relax, watch a movie, chill in my room or whatever and forget everything else and just play the game i love. Another way i cope with it is just get the fuck off your ass and hang out with people you love. True friends, your girlfriend, family... anything like that helps, people that will make you feel good about yourself and shit. Hope this helps dude, youre my favourite rs youtuber and i absolutely love your videos. wish i could binge them all but ive already done that haha. respects on the work duder keep up the unreal work!
Mote I have an anxiety disorder too, so don't feel bad I know how it feels. You don't need an excuse, so don't worry about it. I don't know how to make them stop, but a good counselor will help you a lot.The things my counselor and I have talked about have really helped me out. They haven't made them go away, but they have helped tremendously!
Well, Mote. My little sister has been suffering from panic attacks and anxiety ever since she was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, which obviously is a completely unrelated illness. That's not the point, the point is, learning that is what caused them to start occurring. The only relief she's found is through Xanax. They tried multiple other medications, even tried medical pot, and none of them really did much for her. I'm not all too certain how much looking into it would help you, or if it would help you at all for that matter considering you're on medications already, but you could always ask your doctor about it.
Mote Plox What I can recommend for you is to find something on the side (maybe something besides Runescape) to help you relax and relieve what ever Stress you have Like Hobbies Ex: Running, Lifting at a nearby Gym, Yoga, and just overall something you might find fun and relaxing while doing it. I hope you're doing okay and remember your own HEALTH always come first!
We all love you, Mote. You provide us good, sometimes legitimately funny, sometimes ironicly funny content. You owe us nothing but you give us so much. I'm glad you took the time to take care of yourself and I'm glad you're back with us. As far as what content you should produce, it's up to you. I enjoyed the progress portion of this video a lot. Top 10s are your bread and butter though, so I would suggest keeping those in the schedule. If you read this comment, I want you to take one thing away from it; Take care of yourself. You're a good person and a good role model in this community. We can't stand to lose you. Be strong and know that we will always have your back. #MotePlox2016
I hope you're feeling better now. Everyone should get vacations. I use to have panic attacks a few years ago, i took lexapro too and i must say that the meds helped a lot. Also i went to therapy but what helped me a lot was talking about it. And well, you're doing this through youtube so i hope it will help. Take care of yourself and don't force yourself that much. You work a lot to bring us some amazing content and i'm really happy to have you around again. Sorry for my bad english, awesome beard, and i hope you get better soon.
Hey #moteplox, I've really missed you. Your videos got me hooked back onto RuneScape about a year and a half ago, and I religiously scoured over your videos. Perfect balance of comedic approach, editing skills, and knowledge. Last time I "saw" you was when you did a livestream of the 2015 Christmas Event, I followed you around with your entourage and that lead to some pretty funny and memorable moments. Anyways, just wanted to let you know I understand what you're going through. My girlfriend suffers from anxiety, and I with depression. Mental health is a serious matter, and I truly hope that making some videos and doing what you're passionate about will give you some sort of release. Thanks for the good times, brother. Keep on grinding.
Hiya, been watching a lot of your Vids. Brilliant to see someone of similar age with a good taste in games... Keep up the good work! You help me get through my day dude! (Coming from someone else who works too much and has personal health problems!)
i know im a little late on your return but im so glad you are you were the person thought got me back into runescape after i binged watched almost all your top tens haha but it makes me genuialy happy that you are back hopefully one day i can meet you in OSRS it would make my fucking day like meeting a celebrity but thank you for coming back inspired me to play runescape again but hopefully i can meet you in OSRS it would make my day thank you for all the video hope you can tell im excited you are back :) also side note i drank a beer for you when i watched this video cause you like your beer
Just Recently found you on YT. Just followed your Twitch. Glad to see you're doing alright. As for the Anxiety. I can't offer a lot, but my cousin suffers from Anxiety Attacks. The thing that has helped her a lot has been stable living arrangements and medication. (sorry if that's not super helpful)
Skip to 23:26 to find out why I've been absent if you want!
It's a long story. Sorry guys. I've been having a tough time, but I'm back now! I hope you've all been well. The next video will be the Top 10 RuneScape Invincibility Bugs. :)
Hey Brandon. Don't sweat it man! We missed you! (Its Dar btw)
we missed you :)
my dad has the same thing... he also has panic attacks
+Mote Plox Dear Mote Plox,
Regarding the anxiety thing I do have it myself but I do know some things that can help you quite a bit, these aren't guaranteed to work every time but can help perhaps with your attacks in the future:
First off anxiety is a mental illness that is hard/near impossible to get rid of however it is easily manageable once you can recognize the signs of panic with you specifically.
Cheers,
Thomas Everstorm
+Andrew I'll be glad to talk if you or anyone else is interested.
I feel you on this.
+Andrew Oddly...this happens to me to. I wonder why this happens to us.
U need serious medical attention
Weirdo
Good luck Mote. I've only had two panic attacks when I got my wisdom teeth taken out. I'm not a fan of blood in my mouth, and after it being that way for ~5 hours I guess I just couldn't take it anymore. My mom's a nurse, so she made me use a paper bag to fix the hyperventilation I was experiencing during it. Take a load off, go on a vacation, just straight chill out for awhile. No need to rush anything. Your health is your number one priority, don't let us get in the way.Whatever it takes mate.
Klol
+God Gabe The viewers are first. His health is the last thing he should worry about, we are more important.
you came back on my birthday, wish my dad did too
Rip
I'm from Brazil, and I really like your videos, I've played Runescape from 2005 to 2006, then 2008 to 2011, and the way you make your videos still gie me some nostalgia of the good ol Runescape. Hope you get better.
mote plox lookin like a fresh runescape botting account
jk but seriously man i hope you feel better and keep your channel going, at the end of the day only make videos if you yourself enjoy it
+Chunk LOL more like the dwarfs with beards at oldscool rs
+M.Kaya LOL stfu
Mad respect Mote Plox, just started watching but you seem like an awesome dude, and you are super entertaining! Had lots of anxiety over this past year with student debt getting good grades, and just a whole lot of stuff that comes with school. However, just finished my first year of college, and am beyond glad that its done.
Just discovered your videos and have spent a week watching a bunch of top 10's! I really enjoy your sense of humor and find your voice very soothing. LOL. So sorry to hear about your health problems, hope you find a good balance to your life that includes more great videos as well!
Oh God the duel arena has claimed another victim :'(
haha rip gg!
Its claimed me
It claimed my 550m
+Exert Ful It also claimed my 380m :( Probably lost over a bil there in total under the years.
Welcome back mote love the content
yeah, ive been struggling with anxiety for almost a year now, it gets in the way of my work too and im actually going on a week without being there, thank you for offering to try and help, but im not even sure how to help it, just medication and coping like you have been doing really.
you'll get through it man, just know that there is no rush to push out vids as long as they are good...vids are always great so I don't mind waiting at all...your vids honestly become apart of my daily routine haha! keep doing what your doing!!

Hope you're feeling better man! I missed your videos dude they get my mind off things and alleviate my stress a lot. Get well, and I can't wait to see more content!!
Keep it up, buddy! Your content still very very good... No matter if it is top 10 or whatever you want to make. Proud of you buddy.
I've been prescribed every benzodiazepine under the sun and I'm 21, I know what works for me at least.. talk to your doc about Ativan. works marvelous. been on it for 4 and a half months and I don't get no where near the side effects of the other benzos. every other benzo I was prescribed made me foggy headed and almost suicidal.. best of luck
so you tell him to not let his doctor to prescribe him Xanax, but you say to get Ativan...? Ativan is probably 10x worse than Xanax.
+Ry an I couldn't agree with you anymore
+Ry an Let's not take unsolicited medical advice from a random stranger on the internet.
+Ezarhadden you must be ignorant on the subject. I'll let this one slide.
+Ry an no, you just give bad advice.
Praying for you man! I have always loved you videos!
Focus, breathe, and just go with it."
I'm tired and a little clunky at writing, but you definitely made me want to speak out and say I'm here for you.
sorry you've been feeling bad I really enjoy your progress vids keep up the good work!
I'm happy you took a break Mote. And i really hope your anxiety and chest pains go away soon!
You have all the support in the world from us! I really appreaciate this.
@Mote Plox
Hey man I wish there was a place where I could tell you this aways from thousands of people's eyes but yeah.
Glad you're back brother, vid was great, just relax when you feel overwhelmed don't worry about videos, get your mind right and feeling well.
My prayers have been answered! Welcome back Mote, we have all been missin you!
Definitely missed you man! Glad to see you back!
Here I'll do a list:
*1.* create a "Chill" playlist on your phone/iPod/whatever.
I have no Idea if any of these will work with other people, just stuff that works for me.
moteee! my dude I'm glad to see your back I was literally wondering where you've been bro glad you're alive!!!
Stay safe and remember to always prioritize your health over this channel!
i struggle with anxiety/paranoia (along with depression and other mental illness) and the best thing i can tell you to do is just go for a walk, do something else to distract your self from what you think is bothering you
Pills work amazing and so does therapy if you feel you need it
Welcome back! nice to now that u're fine.
Hope all goes well for you 👍🏻
I forgot I was even subbed to Mote :( Glad to have you back, you're one of my favorite youtubers!
welcome back mote! good to see you're well (all things considered)
Also glad to see a progress video.
ITS ALIVE
I am sorry to hear that mote but you are an amazing person and I will have you in my prayers! Best of luck dude!
Just know that there are a lot of people out there with anxiety also. Keep your head up! I've had bad anxiety since I was really young and just finally 20 years old I've finally learned to live with it.
Good luck man! I'm happy you're back
i've been dealing with it for 2 years now, i'm in 11th grade and had to stop attending public school and get home schooled because i couldn't sleep and would have panic attacks all day long.
Glad you're back! Hopefullly it goes better soon.
Looks like I was featured in the video, interesting.
Awh, hope you get better soon :((
Was that actually your mom in the comments section of your last video, that was responding to everybody? She seems very nice to do that :)
+snapdr4g0nz My mom always responds to comments. :) She helps out a lot. She's always reading me messages through out the day of comments everyone leaves on the video! She loves seeing all of it, just like I do!
+Mote Plox when was this originally recorded?
+FIGHTSinc hahahaha u wot m8
get well soon bud :) ..
Thanks for telling me your story. Btw i subscribed to your channel
+Aidan Martin thanks man :)
Hey Brandon, hope you feel better soon man!
Good to hear you're not dead as well.
-Micah
Mote if youre depressed, Lexapro is an antidepressant. Im 17, started taking it at 14, it worked wonders for me overtime.
It's great to see you making content again!
im the exact same way dude, been fine for my whole life, no anxiety or pressure whatsoever. Hope this helps dude, youre my favourite rs youtuber and i absolutely love your videos. wish i could binge them all but ive already done that haha. respects on the work duder keep up the unreal work!
glad to hear that you are back now mate and that you are feeling better
Awesome vid man, good to see you are okay and its good to see you back :D
Mote Plox What I can recommend for you is to find something on the side (maybe something besides Runescape) to help you relax and relieve what ever Stress you have Like Hobbies Ex: Running, Lifting at a nearby Gym, Yoga, and just overall something you might find fun and relaxing while doing it. I hope you're doing okay and remember your own HEALTH always come first!
Welcome back mang. Missed your videos
My face when I saw your achievement diaries. {[0.
You're looking great - welcome back!
Big hug to you Brandon, a very very big hug, stay cool dude, glad you are back !
Glad you're ok man! You're the only Runescape content creator I still watch after leaving Runescape lol
Hiya, been watching a lot of your Vids. Brilliant to see someone of similar age with a good taste in games...
Keep up the good work! You help me get through my day dude!
(Coming from someone else who works too much and has personal health problems!)

My friend Josh won't even leave his house because of anxiety. He struggles with it every day.
It sounds like you are a moron and you have no idea what you are talking about.
