That poor Donkey. It's such a shame that the owner allowed it's hooves to get so over grown! I'm so glad there are people like you in the world helping such hard working animals stay comfortable. Also, I've never seen anyone be so accurate with such tools. Very different techniques than what we are trained to use in The States. God bless you & whomever assists you. What with Tractors being too destructive for the Rice Paddy fields. & If they do eat them, who cares? The French eat horses, the Vietnamese eat dogs, the Spanish (from Spain) eat fully developed ducklings straight from the eggs they boil them in... How would eating a donkey be any different? Edit: Master DU is at least giving them comfortable feet to walk on, whatever their future holds.

Just found you. I watch a Scottish hoof guy, who is in a position to use some of the best tools. It’s fascinating to watch Master Du using his tools so accurately!! There’s actually a podiatry blade that a very similar shape to Master’s blade, only very much smaller!! xx

Of course, the donkeys don't like the process. But it's much better to have 15-20 minutes of discomfort than to leave the animal in pain.
