Thank you very much for this video. It brought me back my school choir lessons. ❤ My grandma always told me I was singing before I could speak. She had a record of Jeanette with "Porque te vas" I loved. Everytime I was visiting her she had to play this record for me. 😊 My whole family was singing every day, so I grew up with singing as normal as breathing. After an emergency operation in August and Covid four weeks later I noticed I can't hold a tone or sing a song like I used to. I'm just out of breath and feel weak. So I'll start with this and hope to regain my strength, range and endurance.😊
A moist throat before singing tends to help me tremendously! Abstaining from coffee or sodas before, and sipping water throughout seems to also help me alot ❤ thanks for your informative vids!!
Yes that is great! You can also do something called "hyper hydration", where you drink a lot of water a few hours before you sing. That way you are hydrated on a cellular level and you don't have to sip so much (lots of sipping makes me have to use the bathroom!)
Awh, thanks Nick. This has given me the support for my audition later. I always get in my head and have a pre audition panic. Your free EBook is fab!! I look forward to improving with your support :-)
Hey! I just randomly saw your channel, and when I saw this video I noticed that you are so underrated! This Video helped me so much! Everyone, let's get this bro hit 1 Million! But I have a problem, can you pls help me? I am trying to sing the song 6 feet under at the moment, and I have trouble singing the "bloom" part. Can you pls give me some advice?
I really like the video! That being said: I really dislike it when a video shows a program that is perfect but doesn’t mention the actual name of it!! Do you have any idea how many piano apps there are ?! I'm not going to install all of them in hopes of finding the same as you 😝 Instead I'm hoping you will tell me the name which you honestly should have included in the video or at least in the description 😫 Also hoping for understanding about this frustration 🙃
sir how to sing high notes like note f4 g4 i am a bass baritone sometimes i can sing it without vocal crack but sometimes I have a problem singing those notes I'm 12 years old And A Musician For 7 years
My best advice to you is to just keep singing. You're only 12 years old, so your voice has a lot of time still for growth. Your main focus should always be breathing: make sure you're using your breath when you sing. If you feel any pain, or you lose your voice a lot, then thats a problem. If you're voice is cracking a lot, don't worry, its just your voice changing!
Great video! I’m sure this will help a lot of people video suggestion: Esa Einai by The Miami Boys Choir They posted a live version on RUclips :) hope you can check it out
