- The first half of our Nicoya Peninsula tour in Costa Rica. This peninsula is one of the harder to reach areas of Costa Rica, with beautiful beaches for surfing and riding. We start out Scuba diving to the Islas Catalinas offshore North of Tamarindo, and then stop in the city before heading up to the North end of Nicoya: Montezuma, Malpais, and Santa Teresa.

The Jaws music ... so funny. You were in more danger from the bait ball, than the white tipped reef baby, or the eel. The turtle trying hard to look like a rock. A pike fish. What a lovely video . Thank you. I missed the octopus.
Yeah, the sharks were quite small and I guess reef white tips are very different than oceanic white tips 😀 Thanks for watching!

Vandersons make a video on your audio visual gear what were you rocking with underwater gear camera case etc party on thx for all you do
For sure! I can tell you here too 😃 Underwater we used an Insta360 One X with the dive case and our guide had a GoPro that we are considering purchasing 🤔 Above water we use a DJI Osmo

In Costa Rica every thing is more money !
Very true! We found it to be very expensive but the natural areas are well maintained
I wouldn't swim to close to the school of fish .. Here on Cape Cod, about 2 months ago, a diver was cking his lobster traps % they think a school of fish went by & the guy ended up in a Humpback whales mouth !! Lol ... he was o.k., but I'd probably die of a heart attack!! 🤣
I heard about that!! Such a wild story. Luckily the whale didn't think he was tasty XD
West coast vs. East coast - what did you guys think of the 2?
Well I should start by saying this is Emily lol the east coaster - food is better east coast but nature is amazing west coast (just don't tell Danny) XD
