Digital Foundry mentioned you guys on their podcast. It's early access on their Patreon right now but will go Live on Monday so expect a well deserved influx of nerds like myself. This tool looks really really promising! Excellent work!
Hey Brazil Pixel, Richard Leadbetter of DF mentioned you on his latest weekly direct. I am already a happy subscriber to your channel so I am glad DF highlighted your channel. I hope it grows fast.
1) I changed the "output resolution" to "render resolution" because it was causing confusion for some people. 2) When only "render resolution" is shown, it does not mean that it is necessarily native, it may or may not be. 3) I'm sorry I didn't make a more detailed video comparing it to the base ps5.
Thanks for your work. You are now only one man on internet who can check upsampling res correctly. Interestingly this game on consoles does not use upsampling. Thanks for your work.
I just wanted to congratulate you on the tools you created to analyze fps and resolution, I've never seen anything quite like it, it looks so cool. Digital Foundry should hire you, bro. 😂 Seriously, very nice work. I'll be following your channel closely. Muito obrigado!
This game is so optimized, I'm actually shocked. No matter how many insane things happened on the screen, the frame rate didn't buckle when I played it on the PS5 Pro. I got above 60 fps on the LG C2 if the frame counter is correct.
@@SD-vp5vo Coming from Koei Tecmo and a Musou style game, this was the most beautiful and stable they made considering the large number of NPCs on the screen
Great work @brazilpixel!! If you have a possibility can you please make PS5 Star Wars Outlaws- Resolution and FPS test and maybe PS5 vs PS5 Pro comparison?
Found your analysis and really love the work you’re doing! Any chance you could look at Metro Exodus Enhanced and Far Cry 6 on PS5 Pro? Those were both 4K dynamic res games, so in theory the resolution boosts on the Pro should be fairly large now. Could be really interesting to look at, but anyhow thank you :)
@@brazilpixelBro is there a way to contact you outside RUclips ? I wanna donate you so you can acquire a 120hz 4k record card if you don’t mind, sorry for the suddenness 😅
Can you guys test Slender the Arrival on PS5? Another channel says it uses dynamic scaling down to 1080p but I have my doubts based on equivalent PC hardware tests. It's a UE5 game that uses Nanite, VSMs and Lumen.
@@brazilpixel Oh okay, could you try now with the 120 fps mode and see the resolution ? Also for Resident evil 4 120 hz if possible and also village. Also if you could try fortnite 60 hz mode to see the native resolution. And calisto protocol balanced 120hz mode. Also Astro bot would be cool. And horizon zero dawn and forbidden west too. And ratchet and clank. Thats just suggestions. U should mostly focus on pro enhanced games in my opinion

I wanna test frame rate & image resolution for my own personal use. I’m interested in the software / hardware you use. Can we get in contact? Cheers.
Hi. The tool is still under development and is not in the public domain.
@@brazilpixel are you gonna release it and sell it after its completion?

DF sent me here. Thanks for the interesting work you're doing here.

In 120hz mode, performance mode on the pro is around 75-95fps.
There's a 120hz mode also.

I'll check out Metro Exodus when I have time. Thanks.
@ That would be amazing, thank you!!
There’s also a free trial of Far Cry 6 on all platforms, just for what it’s worth :)

@@jdjdjdjdjd8490 Thanks. My 4k 120hz capture card just arrived. Now I will be able to analyze this resolution.
Nice video bro test normal ps5 aswell with power consumption thank you
Can you test Starship Troopers Extermination and Predator Hunting grounds with the PS5 Pro?
I'll take a look later.
Thanks for doing this! I’d be curious to see if the base PS5 can lock to 60fps as well.

It has. But I wanted to wait for my 4k 120hz capture card. It has arrived now.
