THE CONNECTICUT SCIENCE CENTER // Connecticut's Cultural Treasures

The Connecticut Science Center is the state's premier science museum, home to 150 different exhibits. The mission is to educate and inspire with a hands-on approach to kids of all ages. In the words of program director Hank Gruner, "we are never too old too learn." There's a state of the art 3-D theater and a spectacular rooftop garden that has helped this building earn gold status as a green building.
Connecticut's Cultural Treasures is a new series of 50 five-minute vignettes that profiles a variety of the state's most notable cultural resources.
