Fox has successfully defended multiple libel and slander lawsuits by saying their statements are so utterly ridiculous no reasonable viewers construes them as fact and by stating they are entertainment and opinion segments. The problem is...most people who watch fox , especially the late night pundits aren't reasonable viewers and they eat the bs they spoonfeed them for dinner but without some new law...which I'm sure would face heavy opposition I don't see a way to really regulate that...and the right would twist this as censorship and coming after free speech and their base would eat that shit up too.

What David is missing is that just because you marked a ballot with your will doesn't mean it translates to reality just as you marked it. It totally did whey a pen a paper was used and computer were not a thing, but even marked ballots are entered into computers these days.
