So amazing to see this now. I went to school here from 1994-1999 when it was a school as a really young kid, it was the most magical place with amazing people. The memories that were made now locked in those grounds forever will be treasured by so many people make this place priceless. Lovely to see its new life today! Bless the Wareham family who owned it when they ran the school

As a Derbyshire Lass, I love old grand houses to start with, but being disabled now, one that seems is disabled accessible in parts and could be fully disabled accessible, is really appealing, if only could win the Euro Millions, I would seriously think of buying this property, to turn it into a both a long term Veteran's Residential Property, with Veteran's Holiday Guest quarters too, plus keep the Wedding and Function Venue going, plus develop holiday guest cabin business too.
Along with turn the whole estate, off grid green energy self-sufficient too, plus create Disabled Veteran's Flowers and Vegetable Gardens too, as well as form a Veteran's Cricket Team, plus both form a Veteran's Football and Veteran's Ruby Teams, using the existing cricket pitch and creating a new football plus a new ruby pitches, with built a new fully disabled accessible Sports Club House and bar plus Gurkha restaurant too, with separately built fully disabled accessible changing rooms, showers and toilets building, for the home veteran's teams and visiting teams.
As well as built a new outdoors large old fashion band stand, for military bands and musical groups, could come and play in, to entertain the general public on open weekends and guests plus residents too.
Lastly create a Service Dog and Service Pony Training Centre with Stables and Kennels, plus indoor and outdoor training rings too,, For training both Service Dogs and Ponies, to look after Disabled Sensory and Physically Disabled Veterans,. As well as training Emotional Support Dogs and Ponies plus Horses, for Veterans with PTSD too, with creating long walking and riding tracks around the grounds.
Finally only employ Veterans and Service Family members, to work on the estate too, including a Veteran's Classic Car Collection with garage building too, with these classic British cars and Military |Vehicles, would be available to be hired for drives in the Peak District, or for wedding or even for a veteran's funerals too, driven by Veterans too.

Oranges are NOT tropical. They don't do that well in frost, and snow would kill them, but they would do fine in Southern England. The biggest problem might be too much rain. I grow oranges and get frosts every winter. About 4 nights as low as -6° C and lots of normal frosts. Have lemon and orange trees. Some types do better than others in cold, but my lemon tree produces huge numbers of lemons.

I would personally have that commercial building constantly rented out for weddings weekends, have a disco there every Friday and in the week have the office spaces rented to a company just to generate the income to upkeep the maintenance. Never mind what council tax and bills for heating and electricity. Mind though I haven’t turned on my heating in years so I could probably cut that bill. Also think of the grounds, you’d need a gardener and staff to help you clean. I love this house but oh the money .

What a stunning property for 4 million! Are you sure there isn't a zero missing? The commercial part of the property probably brings in enough income to cover the mortgage costs as well as much of the utilities and upkeep so if you can afford the down payment on this estate you could live in the massive palatial pristine up-to-date private space almost for free in the beautiful rolling English countryside!
The commercial part appears to consist of a Spa, event space rentals e.g., Weddings, corporate events as well as luxury overnight accommodation. I could imagine it is probably popular with shooting clubs as well who would make use of all of the indoor spaces. The facilities are in pristine condition so this would be a big money generator probably netting well over a million a year!
Imagine the possibilities for a large extended family to pool their resources and buy this estate. They could live in various parts of the private section while working the business side together as a family and adding a bit of farming. How great a life that would be! It sure beats working 9-5 as a wage slave!

Wow!...4 million? That's cheap enough to turn this back into a family home and not worry about bridezillas.
So much land, and I'm sure this house is begging to return to its historic roots. Either way, it's an incredible deal for that much house and acreage.
Extra silly this day Tom, fun watching you guys get turned around in this large property. SO MANY DOORS!...😄

Property is amazing. The presenting could do more work though. Its so dry and seems as though they're winging half of it.

The whole estate was pretty nice and then fumbled down hard in the master bedroom. She had that brilliant cover, "So regal". And it was all broken up too. Going to need to throw $4M and add in a total remodel of everything in the master suite.

This is my dream home jobs, I’d get my license to perform weddings, have a publishing company, wedding venue, custom dresses, suits, possibly open a restaurant, could hold church, land could breed dogs. It’s just beautiful, I’m so in love with it.
