I have the 12" 500W RMS, just waiting for my LOC for my factory head unit, and can't wait. To clarify - That's a single sub in that down firing configuration with a passive radiator, not two subs. Easy mistake to make.
I'm working on my '23 Civic EX, these videos helped me out. Finished sound deadening the doors, door speakers show up next week, can't wait to hear them.
I have 2x 10's but they are in a massive box...i like that box you have...i just picked up a blue 23 civic sport...so you are definitely helping me out big time
Awesome video once again🙏🏼 I also installed a sub and amp in my civic last week too and it sounds great. I went for a 5 channel kenwood amp so I had my JBL door speakers and a Rockford Fosgate 12” sub running off the amp. Sounds amazing and I recommend a 5 channel amp to improve the sound quality on your aftermarket door speakers as well. Doesn’t only just help with bass👍🏼
I installed two JL 10" 400 watt rms with a 1000 watt amp and it is absolutley deadly ! . I still have my factory deck so i used a LC2i Pro LOC. I mounted my amp on the back of the middle seat with self tappers but i like where you mounted the amp. Awesome video
Would love to know more about that sound deadening. My number one complaint with these cars is the cabin noise is insane. Measured 85db with from just road noise inside the car the other day. Would really love to quiet the interior up.
The video was exceptionally humorous, especially during the dancing segment. I couldn't help but chuckle. I also thought it would have been great if you had incorporated some robot or Macarena dance moves. Great video my dude!!
And once again Miller, Blue, and the 717 Project channel saves the day 😅Jesus I don't know where ole black ass (my Civic) would be without this haha thank you dude
Ohhh man now im really tempted to ruin my hatchback’s utility with this, this channel is a bad influence. 😂 Great videos man, keep them up! Love watching how Blue is changing as the months go by, great work!
Hello, i just bought a 2025 Honda Civic sport trim Not Si, i am going to add a amp and sub to the factory stereo, do you of a ANC that i would need to disconnect before moving on with my install?
What seat covers are those. And I loved this video.. bought a 24 sport last month and just bought rockfort p1s 12*2s with alpine amp, getting it installed next week. Gave you a follow because i loved your work . ❤
It’s that time for an oil change, I wanna do it myself but I don’t know which oil to get. I went to AutoZone and there was like a premium one, carbon one and this other one. Which oil do you recommended and how do you know how much oil to put? I got the 23 sport
I had that same exact sub and I don’t recommend that sub for the hatchback the bottom spare tire cover rattles like crazy and because it’s a hatch you clearly hear it up front for my hatch personally that sub was terrible especially because it’s a downfiring ended up going with a jl audio ho 10w6 and couldn’t be happier it sounds absolutely amazing but good video tho and good luck to you with that sub👍🏼
Yea in a hatch it would sound different for sure. I'm extremely surprised there is very little rattle and how good it sounds. We'll see if I run into the same issues you had.
Great work and value, Miller, but it's all your knowledge, experience, dedication, enthusiasm and innovation that make it priceless. But you go way beyond mere ordinary bolt on accessories and mods. I wouldn't go as extreme as you, unless I had a project car, like I said, probably the Boost Blue Pearl Civic Sport Hatchback, just saw another one today near my home. But I would just get a more conventional stereo upgrade, ut I eoukd spend the mo ey on real good speakers and amps. Lots of brands I like, but I oretty much know the specific brand and exact components. And rig ut up to hook up a si gke powered 10 or 12" subwoofer thst won't take up too much space. And can e easily taken out whrn needed.
Thank you as always, brother! If it wasn't for my sponsors, I wouldn't be able to do half of the things I've done so far. I remember when this stuff was thousands of dollars. To be able to do it now for under $400 for this set up I found crazy!
@717 PROJECT Like I said, the electronics is more affordable for the head units, and you can get decent speakers andvsmps for cheap, but I still would spend the serious money on speakers and amps. The Rockford Fosgate amps and speakers are worth it to me.
@717 PROJECT I remember when my friends brother was the top car audio stereo installer in the state. He went to the Rockford Fosgate school, but a modified Punch 150 amp that I still have and could use, or as a subwoofer amp with their new 400 or 600 watt 4 channel amp. He had so much clout with the RF owners that he hlgot the 3rd Power 1000 amp before anyone else. Thst huge amp that was gold gir car audio competitions and show cars. He had a stealth charcoal great Honda Accord with that, and two 18" subwoofers in the trunk. That car was scary loud and clear. So was his friends Civic Squareback we called the black box. Dropped, aftermarket wheels, Punch 1000 amp and a customer made speaker, subwoofer box behind the front seats.Yes, all speaker and amp in there. Thst car has serious bass! 😂
@@jjacob25101 Yea, I had a bunch of buddies with crazy stuff. The craziest was my cousins Ford Ranger that had 8 8" JL's! Not sure what kind or what amp but that thing was ridiculously loud!
@717 PROJECT JL Audio makes nice subs, too. I ha e several favorite brands. Alpine was my stereo units of choice, but now, I stick with the OEM unit because of all the integration with vehicle operations. But the unit you git in Blue is incredible. If only they would put that factory installed as a special order option for the Sport trims of the Civic and msybe the HR-V. Now I will just do a simple upgrade of speakers, amps maybe a subwoofer and eq/dsp. But back then, the Soeakerworks Grand National was something, but even more so after audio engineer Richard Clark bought it and kickedvital up even more with super advanced audio electronics wizardry.
I was really into car audio in the 90's. The cars back then had horrible factory stereo systems. Too much use of 6.5 cone speakers and under-powered headunits. Aftermarket was necessary. I'm planning a simple upgrade in my 1989 240SX right now. I just received a Blaupunkt Bremen re-issue headunit. Looks so close to factory and now has newer technology! Brings back many memories!
You need some sound deadening. That rattle is no fun with a sub set up (I can hear it). Also, I went with the JBL Bass Pro hub so I could keep my full trunk space.
The biggest rattle I have is actually up front...lol! Housing for the interior lights is loose from over a year ago. Didn't tighten it enough I guess. Plus, a little bit in the trunk. I would have definitely thought the plate would have rattled alot more.
Hands down the cleanest Smurf out there. From the stock till now, the car looks unbelievable. Great job and thank you for the Videos.

Thank you for this video on Kicker subwoofer that I saw it on website for good deal. It sounds good, not like big subwoofer with bass or rattle. 😁👍
Your car has helped me decide between the Civic Sport and the Accord EX. I would rather use the 5-6K I save in getting a Civic for mods.
Nice!!! JL and kicker are the top brands for me. I bet it really sounds great in person. Plus it sounds clean in the video
Thank you, Bboy!
I’m using your help in my 2024 Integra thanks
I have two monster 12s in my 22 and only had to hush mat my trunk, license plate, rear deck but I got monster sound coming out

was waiting for a video like this for so long

That’s the way that box is designed it’s a downfiring sub

Stock alt, literally just replaced the battery yesterday.
What was the code on that amp? I may have missed it. Thanks buddy, awesome car.
Thanks! No code on this one. Link for it is in the description.
Does it come with a bass volume knob? to lower and increase bass?
Yes
Check your instructions manual for the amp to see if the speakers can be bridge will sound better

Any ideas for 2925 civic sport same color car
I'm sure it will
could you explain a little bit more how you connected the remote wire?
I just used an open ended connector an clamp the wires down. One on each end. Hope that helps.
