The coconut in this really works well. It's constantly there, but not overly strong.

Tried it in a store and I was actually shocked at how nice it smelt. Salty, coconut with lemon. My GF liked it straight away. Super holiday vibes

bought my bottle last year just sprayed it and still one of my fave summer scents a masterpiece for the summer
Great review! I wound up getting the big bottle because I never saw a big boy for Marine and that one was my favorite of the two. With that being said, it's a lovely compliment getter and a easy wear like you said for those hot summer months.
If it was me, because of the longevity and performance, I wou😢say go ahead and get the big boy bottle.

Purchased this about a month ago. Absolutely surprised at how much I love it. Great review and spot on. It’s worth the price but agree it’s most likely better to wait.
How’s the longevity and sillage?
@@gooddaymate1171for me 4 hours, then it fades the next 3 hours. With this one I re-apply in the middle of the day.
I love Boss Pacific, got it for under $75 at Dillards a couple months ago. Don’t get the coconut as a stand alone accord at all - and I’m glad for it. Coastal Woods and it’s just gorgeous. I get 6 solid hours.

Smell, really sweet
If you like coconut notes, at least try it. I liked the opening, but over the next couple of hours that coconut note kept getting stronger as everything else went away and three hours in it was making me a little nauseous. 4 hours it was thankfully skin scent only. But I will try it again on a warmer day to see if I still feel that way, especially since I did dig that opening.

I picked this up last week after getting a sample the week before. I sprayed the sample on and fell in love. Had to pick it up. And I got it at $75 off because I had a Dillard’s coupon.

Bottled night is the only one i like. Its unique, and actually smells like what i imagine night smells like

Just tried le beau and didn't like it. It smells nutty and smokey. No as fresh as i expected.

Yo Ash. If you havent gotten your nose on the new Pasha De Cartier Noir Absolue, i think you should. At the very least, you are gonna enjoy the opening. Sure, its not the time for heavy smoky woody fragrances, but you should check it out when you get a chance.
I also mentioned it in another video, smelled it once and i bought it on the spot, almost like roasting marshmellows on a smoky bonfire.

Hugo Boss Bottled Pacific OR Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau EDT?
Le Beau is heavier and has better performance.This is a lighter but easier to wear in the heat.
I'm wearing Le Beau today, so I thought I'd chime in and agree with hc... Le Beau isn't something I'd wear above 80°F or so - it'd come off pretty cloying. Today, in my neck of the woods, it was 60°F with a couple of sprinkles of rain, and Le Beau is just beautiful for that imo. Despite having the coconut, it really doesn't come across as fresh, light, and tropical. Just my 2 cents.
Honestly, smells like kenzo leau pour homme in the ope ing and le beau in the dry down. For the price, not worth it. Id rather go with either le beau. If this was dirt cheap then yes. Longevity is also an issue. Le beau is so similar and longer lasting for the same price or less.
The price is way over the top really i wouldnt buy at that price 😁 it should be about £40-£50 for 100ml
I agree but in guessing if you want to wear it first this summer you'll be paying retail. Probably closer to summers end it will get cheaper.

At the moment in the UK only one reputable company has it, at £77/100ml others seem to be suspiciously low, so it gives off either scam, fake or coming from Europe and ignoring any form of import tax and making you pay for it when you don't get the item..
I'm hoping for a similar price to Marine and get me a 200ml for like £45-65 in a few months.
It's still a new release, it's going to get cheaper in a few months 100%

Strange… I tried this one in the store and it smelled really bad. A weird cloying sweet mess without a nice coconut accord 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

The scent is not feminine. it's less coconut forward than le Beau, it sits behind some citrus, salt and some woods/earthy.

Boss fragrances are so underwhelming and to me and they're just mediocre in my eyes or should I say to my nose. You would think they would compete with the big names such as Chanel, YSL, Dior, etc but they kind of fall in the likes of CK, Polo or D&G that pumps out average smelling fragrances. I'm afraid this new Pacific fragrance won't be in my interest of purchase.
who buys this? There are many great summer clones for less than 20 bucks with much better longevity
Collectors, people that need to purchase a gift, people who like the scent, people that have an unhealthy addiction.

@@LukinoH Agreed, i could buy 4, maybe 5 different 200 ml Antonio Banderas fragrances with that cash. Performance and projection are lackluster, but they are decent fragrances for the price.
