this is GENEROSITY! Thank you so much. Been waiting patiently for a long time because you said you'll do it😊. Yiu make a lot of us happy my friend. Even the congregation that I serve will surely appreciate the tone. God bless you more brother.
Thanks for making this video. Makes me feel better that I'm on the right track with dialling in gain and EQ settings. Started on cheap practice amps and thought this would be a great alternative to buying multiple amps.
This is great, thanks! Question: my understanding is the ACS1 doesn't have an effects loop, so are you putting the delay and reverb between the pedal and the interface?
@@evanmcmurry thanks for watching! And that’s a great question. I love putting it before my Delays and reverbs. So it’s kind of like an effect loop just with out going around the amp
Hey nice review! Love the tone. I'm currently having trouble deciding whether to get a iridium or an acs1... I love the acs1 tone but people say the acs1 2.0 has good clean sounds but is bad at handling gain pedals... Can I ask how you think about this?
The IR is...uff incredible!!! One more question brother, do you go into your OD, then modulation, delay and reverb and then to the ACS1? Or first OD, ACS1, delay and reverb modulations?
@@juanpablosandoval3285 thanks! Yea I absolutely love this new firmware update with the new IRs! I have ODs into modulation, then ACS1, then delay and Reverb!
Your tone is insane and pedals are super dialed in, but your playing is truly what sets apart how great your sound is. Been patiently waiting for your acs1 settings and so cool that our settings turned out almost identical!! 🫡
@@nobesmusic My settings were almost the same too, looking forward to playing this live at church, I'll be pairing with a Canvas as well. I think I may have picked the same cabs even :). Thanks for the point of reference to gain and volume, I am a little nervous about how FOH will receive it. I have always been a little hotter than they want. Do you run DI or LI on your Canvas. Happy New Year!
Sweet! Let me know what you think. And for this quick video I just went straight into my interface, but I usually use the Canvas DI/Line Isolator live!
Thanks! So I'm using the stock Tone Factor IRs that come free with the 2.0 Firmware Update. It's the 1966 Fender Deluxe Reverb with it’s original Jensen C12NA on the left and the 90’s UK-made AC30 6TB with Blue Alnicos
Thanks ! Really Like your tone. I have been using the ACS1 for only a couple Months. I will have to try this out. Do you run your SP compressor on the low setting ?
Does having an interface help out figuring out your tone or is plugging into the headphone jack alone enough to be able to find a good tone ? I am fairly new to the amp modeler world and really appreciate your content! God bless bro
@@isaubaldo1422 the headphone jack will give you the best cause it’s directly out of the ACS1. An interface may have a preamp that colors your signal, but I’d still dial it in with the interface too 🤙🏽
Weeks ago, I watched your video about your setup and I was thinking : how you had configured the ACS1? I wanted to ask you about it, but know I have the answers with this GREAT VIDEO!!! thank you so much!!!
Thanks! Yea it’s definitely tight, but it fits in a backpack for my fly dates! It’s mainly run via the MC6 so I don’t have to tap dance around too much
@@nobesmusic Yea, super cool. I always flirted with integrating a midi box but was always intimidated by it. Seems super useful for a situation like yours though..
Been rewatching a couple of videos including this one for preamps. Which would you rather have, the Tonex, the Dream, or this ACS1? Before the update it was clear ACS1 was out the list, but now I’ve no idea. Got until tomorrow morning to pick one while I’m in Korea. ACS1 does have stereo though
Thanks for watching! Personally I prefer the ACS1 because I can have two separate amps left and right and it’s smaller than those other units. But it’s all about what works best for you!
@@nobesmusicYou're right. Featurewise, the ACS1 is the best. Stereo (dual mono in fact), midi control, compact format ... Sonicwise, much more difficult to get an idea without trying for real.
@@calvinbautista8743 that would be awesome, but unfortunately I don’t have those other pedals. There are some good videos on RUclips that do that comparison though!
Im on The fence between this acs1 pedal and the iridium. I've read that the acs1 struggles with reverb and gain pedals...i would appreciate people comments. I have strymon cloudburst, dig, and a tumnus plus several others but those pedals i use the most.
You should definitely check out the ACS1 with the new 2.0 firmware update. I started on the iridium and just fell in love with the ACS1! It takes the drive stuff really well! And do you use them in stereo? The cool thing about the ACS1 is that I can do two amps and two cabs at the same time in stereo while the iridium can only do one amp with two cabs. I see guys buying my two iridiums to do what one ACS1 can do. Definitely worth checking out!
BROOOO THANK YOUUU! Nobody cares to put out their settings/gatekeeps what they use. Much appreciated and much love
