Rexsi. Its been quite a few Merlin videos. Max the 1. Ice for clear, fire for fighting, void for more ranged. Play agro af when you get your boots. Stance change does alot of damage aswell as you get 4 abilities off
Rex if you see this, advice would be to use the arcane stance more level your 1. You can win with him in duel, also don’t go CDR boots. The purple ones are better and give life steal. From there you can go a protection item into Rod of Tahuti. Thanks for the entertainment tho🙏🏽.
If he just went purple boots instead he'd be fine. Overcapping CDR isnt really an issue, if the items have good stats/passive then it having CDR as well doesn't matter.
@@SirMsuni he also had blue buff so 20% yes it would disappear but power pot also give 10 and with runic givong health as well as prots soul reaver would be almost double as effective as normal
I usually put 3 points in the 2 then 3 in the one and then max the 2 the rest of the way. It just makes your abilities good no matter what stance your in.
The ice 2 has the best clear in the kit, but vortex is great for when they're under tower. All in all though, merlin sucks. He's excellent in team fights, but in solo engagements he's garbo.
LT Prodigy i think that’s probably the stupidest thing you could say I’m masters in duel and I main merlin this whole video rexi played him completely wrong and there’s a reason why he’s top dps in every game
because the 1st ability has a long range, good dmg, low cd and the 2nd ability can wave clear, letting you use the one for dmg. Fire stance is good too, but the 1 is easly interrupted
Ugh hard to watch Rexsi play Merlin when you can hear him being annoyed the whole time. Every time Merlin is in a duel with Rexsi it's like this. Just dont play him even for skin reviews.
1- use void instead of ice, ice sucks 2- once you use void it's 1 than 2, they will get stuck taking all 1 dmg 3- ult near them, the dmg of merlim ult is sick you can even use it to wave clear
It depends what item is pushing you over the cap, he bough chronos when he had CD boots, breastplate and blue buff. He already had max CD then bough an item that’s only purpose is to give cooldown
Refreshing to see you play Merlin, don’t sweat the loss too much. It was funny seeing Hou Yo últ his buff and get nothing for it. Unfortunately nothing extraordinary happened so I’m afraid I can’t subscribe yet Rexsi. I’ll keep watching and waiting

It's not always bad to overcap cdr assuming the stats/passives of the items are worth but yeah in this situation it was stupid.

Invade penalty starts at 50%, and as the game goes on the penalty decreases. Not sure of the exact progression though.

I maxed the 1 before the 2, it seems like the dps is better that way. But it also depends on your playstyle
