------ Instructions:
Upgrading The Xhorse Condor XC-mini Plus Automatic Key Cutting Machine
Simple and easy, just takes from 15min set up, 1 hour to complete.
Note: Do not start if you need the machine right away. Upgrades take time, but it's worth it.
Things you need:
A personal computer.
A USB Device Cable (like the one printers use).
An active internet connection.
And a few moments of time.
First:
Plug in your computer and Condor Unit, Power them both up and connect the USB Cable from the PC to the Condor Key Cutting Machine.
Second:
Go to the Search bar located in the bottom left corner of the screen next to the start menu. Click the bar and enter "Windows Security settings".
Once in the security settings, select "Virus & threat protection"
after it opens up, click all toggles to the off position.
- This seems strange, but is necessary to keep windows from misreading the download file and deleting it once it's downloaded.
Note: any anti Virus software installed on the computer must be turned off or paused for the install to succeed.
After that step is complete,
Go to www.UHS-Hardware.com and locate "downloads"
in the footer of the page.
Scroll down to Xhorse Tools and Find the Condor update.
Download, open it up and Run the "upgradekit.exe"
Once the file is downloaded, open the .rar file with the rar opener of your choice and find the update file (upgradekit.exe) and open it up.
The updater should launch immediately and begin it's process. there may be a software update for the updater itself, so just hit continue until all changes are made.
once the updater is ready, click the find device button on the bottom right.
once the updater completes it's connection to the Condor click the "Upgrade" button and let the magic happen...
The upgrade usually takes between 30 minutes to an hour depending on the upgrade size, this is all very normal. Do not freak out!

You are now clear to close the updater. disconnect the USB Cable, turn your virus protection settings back on, power down your condor or put it back to work with it's freshly upgraded firmware.
