DC is certainly unselfish and shares his praise towards not only his training partners but also the opponents he’s faced. He also has a great sense of humor and a down to earth personality.
This video always makes me sad and makes me silent holding my emotions. Knowing the results of both fights now, I can understand how much DC wanted to win and I can understand why he cried after both defeats. All the struggles, the pain and agony and he came up short against his arch rival. It meant so much to him but despite the effort you cannot win sometimes. DC you are an inspiration and a great champion.

I still maintain that he would dominate Jones in pure olympic wrestling hands down... He needed to work his takedowns with striking... He needed to work his takedowns against the best in MMA... Good unpredictable strikers that had good wrestling... He needed to use his wrestling as ploy to land strikes... Not to take Jones down... Jones did not engage in wrestling cormier...
