I work in a hospital as pharmacist...what i have saw is a hospital are becoming hotels. People want hotels like facilities in hospital which hospital provides but ultimately it increases the cost of treatment for middle or lower class of people. Later ones need only treatment from good doctors but can't afford it because of this worthless facilities. I hope 1 day i can make a hospital where treatment is of utmost importance.
I love that you say that most people aren't visionaries and that it is ok! I always felt envious in school of those who knew exactly what they wanted to do, who had a very defined mission. I, on the other hand, love learning, the process of building, and I find myself energized by the passions of others. So, rather than trying to find my own vision, I want to help others achieve theirs. I like to say that: "I'm passionate about passionate people."
Interesting discussion. Our belief is that there are three elements to what we call the Success Trifecta - Mission Vision Passion. A frequent question I am asked is which (of the three elements) comes first? And do we need all three to get started or make something happen? These are very good questions. Our study suggests that people certainly need at least one of the three but there is no priority order. Some people start with a cause, purpose or why - a clear mission. Others love something so much that it is their passion and that is their motivation to put it to good use. And others start from a clear picture of how they see the future - their vision - and then as Simon suggests in this video build their passion mission and people around that. Where you start is not important other than having a clear Mission or Vision or Passion and then use that element as the fuel to get started. In our experience, the other elements will follow as you get moving. When you get all three, you start to see an alignment develop and a real aligned DNA (culture) of that organisation will show.
I definitely have noticed in my life that passion has come from doing and creating something that I care about - which has built upon itself and improved the clarity of my vision. And without kindling the initial inspiration through action, it would’ve been smothered by the stresses of a routine life.
I literally just ask this very question to a close friend 5 minutes ago. Then I open youtube and this video was recommended on top. Scary, but thankful that I found my answer
Ai algorithm and youtube algorithm synchronizer each other to recommend what you may need. Hope will help, the smarter the phone the better the AI learn about you self. Like iron man
Passion comes from taking lots of SOLO TIME to do the reflection and independent thinking required to come up with new and interesting ideas. If you don't make solo time, you're never going to get that far. Before personal transportation became facilitated during the 20th century just about everyone had loads of solo time and mostly everyone was capable of doing so much more than they can today. You didn't even need to talk about finding motivation, it was already part of the culture. I can't believe he doesn't realize this.
Passion is Energy, a fuel for success, and the Genesis of Genius. Dream, Believe, Achieve. Find your WHY (purpose) and follow your dreams, they always "know the way" 🖖
I agree with you about the best leaders. Best leaders have the ability to inculcate their vision such that others embrace it and pursue it as their own.
I may add, I was pushing my kids to get a vision … 😢 What a big mistake 😢 It’s a real relief… I can let go that pressure on themselves and also on myself … I felt guilty they don’t have one yet Felt so guilty I wasn’t able to share with them , to « implement » in them to get a vision Thank you so much

When your belief is so strong it takes it to another level that I can't explain like a powerful, magical thing is happening. Simon thank you for your words. always love to help the underrated weak unseen unappreciated old sick lonely poor etc.

Simon had also encountered many difficult challenges this year. He was in a darker place a few months ago and found a way out to a future that offers hope. Thank you for the inspiration.
Never thought about it from this angle. I know I don't have a vision. It made me feel way too inferior to people who have even if they didn't make it work yet much. At least they have it. But now.. I feel lonely in not having it for some reason. Thank you
Simon, I am the person you are talking about. 30 years old, with no passion, but trying to find something to hold onto. I am so that friend who holds onto to ' friends' because I see the good in them and the potential. If that is somehow a gift, I have no idea where in this world or how to apply that in this world.
Thank you, for this piece of advice you just put there. From my point of view, I am passionate in making a certain for years but in amateur way. That passion throughout the years faded and there are like some of the pieces I still got in me. I have other things beside my hobby that I want to do, but their to many of them. So, I had this horrible stress feeling like I’m in the unknown zone where I feel lost. When you talked about looking for a vision and see what sparks me to be passionate in. That changed my way of viewing things, which I need to look and find truly what I am passionate about.
My passion was banking earlier.. So if you are saying follow your passion.. such kinds of stuff.. Trust me, your passion changes according to qualitative thoughts
I wish Simon Sinek was a Muslim and married to me! hahaha I would probably have myself a cool, calm, and collected person every day. Thank you for your advice. Always.
Few people are born with some talent, very few finds what they are passionate about but almost everyone wants a lot of money...TALENT+PASSION+MONEY=SUCCESS is the most misunderstood equation of our generation, that's why so many people feel lost in life.
Been struggling for what seems like a year to find someone to work through the steps as Simon's book outlines to find our purpose. Ain't happened yet. Extraordinarily frustrating, I understand how it -can- work in theory, but I've got to have help to get past the point of shutting down because of the frustration. It's beginning to get too late to make plans for any future, that's the hell of it all. I'm 54. I like everything Simon teaches and am inspired that he's out there teaching it. I like to teach but no one listens to those who have nothing to show for their knowledge or wisdom. Again super frustrating and just strange for me to ask for help. I'm not comfortable with that and may be a big part of the problem. No money to hire the coaches or take or course or see a shrink. Anyone have an idea how to get past this point. I want like hell to change my life but make a damned simple list of goals is super difficult when you really know where they are supposed to take you or why. It's more like putting out this fire, now that one, now this one, oh wait all out of water. Let them burn... with no goals/plans/schedules for meaningful or focused structure.

We must inspired people to continue our vision. When they believe in my vision we will be stronger. First time "I believe" < "We believe"
I have a vision. I am deeply charmed by leaders who implement 6 hour working days to keep work-life balance healthy.
