- Hi everyone!
Hope you guys had a great week this week. I'm personally glad the work week is over, because work has been terrible past few weeks/months lol. And the weather is finally cooling down here in Georgia and I'm ecstatic that I am finally able to wear long sleeves and jeans!! YAY!
In today's video I am reviewing my Tory Burch Kira Chevron Shoulder Bag in Devon Sand color I've had for the past 2 years. I've been honestly blown away with how much this bag can fit and how well it's been wearing. I really don't think the Saint Laurent Lou Lou bag would have worn much better than this one, and this bag is a FRACTION of the cost!
With that said, as you will see in my video, I wouldn't recommend the brand new version of this bag. The hardware looks terrible. It looks like it's made of plastic and not metal. I did find some listings on eBay for great price, so if you were considering buying this bag maybe you can consider those instead. They are both in brand new condition!

The magnet on the newer one is way way better than the one on the previous ones, that makes a major difference when using it daily!

Great review. How is the magnet lock? Does it hold up even when it’s stuffed?

Such a pretty bag and I love the color. However, so disappointing about the hardware and that is a dealbreaker for the price. I have been looking for a crossbody bag in a pinkish beige. I found a YSL rosy sand crossbody bag and although the color is perfect in terms of what I was looking for, there is just no way I am motivated to save for it since it is $1690 plus tax. I am looking for a similar color in a contemporary bag.
I’m also looking at that bag!! You’re right, they are so expensive for what they are 😩 and there are better quality bags out there for much cheaper price point. If I see on from Europe or in the preloved market I may buy it in the future but otherwise I’m good to not spend that kind of money on it 🙅🏻♀️
I don't think the new color of the hardware is that bad. I think it depends on your skintone. My skin looks good on any color that has orange in it for example.
It’s probably also personal preference. I personally prefer the older/gold tone hardware compare to what they are offering now 😅

Oh man I’m so sorry to hear that you experienced such terrible wear and tear! I would think this isn’t normal wear and tear for a bag that’s two months old. Did you try reaching out to Tory Burch?
Honestly,chipped hardware on a $600 bag doesn't seem like good wear to me.
I mean you’re not wrong, but I don’t mind it? Especially since it’s hardware I barely see. If I saw that type of wear on the chain or the logo I would have been very disappointed but since the outside hardware seems to be fine I am ok with it 😂
