@@dawnlovescouture2644 it was really expensive retail. Maybe you can sell it but you know you’ll have to tell about the defects, but I would keep trying to get them to make it right.
@@dawnlovescouture2644 well as long as you disclose everything honestly and of course you will. They know what they’re buying that’s their choice. Maybe they can fix the leather.
Dawn, I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. $400 is a lot of money! I was considering purchasing a Tory Burch bag, but am going to look elsewhere. I hope you are able to get a resolution you are happy with.
I have 5 Lee Radziwill bags and they’re all very high quality bags. I’ve never liked any other styles from Tory Burch and have always thought many of them looked low quality. I do know that most companies won’t give a refund if you don’t buy a product from them directly. They should, but they usually don’t. It’s why I love shopping at Nordstrom. They will happily give you a refund on something defective, no matter what. They have an excellent return policy. I’ve never liked Bloomingdale’s. Every time I’ve ever ordered a bag from them, it has come looking used and has very poor packaging. I do not order anything from Bloomingdale’s anymore.
Nordstrom is my favorite department store. I’ve never had problems with Bloomingdale’s. It looked fine when I got it. I took it out to use it, and within hours it was a mess. I think I’m done with Tory Burch and Bloomingdale’s.
Hi Dawn, I would sent the bag to Tanner Leatherstein so he could pick it apart and show in his channel the bad quality of the Tory Burch bag! So sorry this happened to you, I don't own nothing of them, but never liked the brand. Stay safe and hugs to the boys😊
That’s what I thought, too! They didn’t even seem concerned that their product is faulty, not even to say let me see so that we can correct this in the future. Nothing.
I’ve had the same experience with Tory Burch bags. I had one even for a year and I contacted them and they let me return it. Other bag that started peeling, they let me return as well. In my experience I had a good experience but I bought from Tory Burch.
“Next time”. They are tripping for sure. I’m so sorry you are dealing with that. I’m surprised Bloomingdales is not providing better service. I’ve heard that Marc Jacobs doesn’t honor warranty unless you buy directly from them too. That is so troubling to me. Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛
Thank you Dawn for making this video! That's why I stick with Coach! In my opinion, many of these rookie brands (including European ones) are crappy! Don't aggravate yourself! Maybe let your credit card know. Hope somehow you get your money back!!!
It’s a Bloomingdale’s card, so they won’t help. I will never buy from them again. I have never been a big fan because I think TB is very overpriced for what it is. But, I got a good deal and it WAS a nice bag…until it started to peel.
I saw it in person. That’s not from wear and tear. I cannot believe how Tory is not taking responsibility for this. I only have the denim bag and it wasn’t purchased at a Tory boutique. I won’t buy Tory anymore.
I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, Dawn. I’m hoping Bloomingdales will come through and offer you a store credit at least. I have two TB bags and now I’m afraid to bring them out. Please keep us updated, I’m hoping for a satisfactory resolution. 💕
Oh Dawn! I'm so sorry you have to deal with such an unpleasant experience. You would think Tory Burch would want to stand by their bag and get a repeating customer. So sad. Sending best wishes and hoping for a positive update.
Sorry you had that experience. I have the same bag in pink and haven’t noticed any issues but maybe I should take a closer look! I did have an experience a couple of years ago with a pair ofTory Burch metallic miller sandals I had bought from Bloomingdales. The metal finish wore off just past a year. I called TB customer service and they asked me to provide my receipt and pics of the shoes. They gave me a full credit even though I hadn’t purchased directly from them. I say keep trying!
Wow! I’m so glad you were able to get a credit! I think the problem is with this color bag. In fact, I have a feeling that’s why it was on sale. I am not going to let this go, I am going to keep at it until I get a satisfactory resolution.
They should be ashamed! I can not believe the way they talked to you! I don’t have a Tory Burch bag and now I will not buy one either! Thank you for sharing this with us,Dawn.🙏🏻🥰
So sorry you had to deal with this issue Dawn. Totally unacceptable! I can see the peeling. Uugggh I would be livid too. I’m not a big TB fan although I own 3 bags. Thank you for sharing this unfortunate experience Dawn. Staying away from the brand.
I wore it ONCE!!! And the peeling started right after I had it in me for no more than 20 minutes, tops! I have one other Tory Burch bag in nylon, and that bag is very nice. This is awful. I will never buy anything from them again!
Oh no, I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this horrible experience. I have the same bag in tan colour, so far I haven't seen any problem, but I have to start checking the bag, oh dear! cross finger🤞I can only imagine the frustration you must have been feeling right now. You take care Dawn ❤
I think it’s this color because my grey barrel bag is fine. In fact, you can see the difference in the leather if you compare them as I did after filming this video. I hope your bag continues to be ok, but keep checking it!
Basic warranty rules require you to take your purchase back to the place of purchase. Stop taking photos just take the bag with proof of purchase back to the place of purchase and they will give you a credit.
I am going to take the bag in, but before I wasted my valuable time and energy taking it into the store, I thought that under the circumstances they would be able to resolve this quickly. Tory Burch does not have a warranty. They have a statement on their website that says they stand by the product for 6 months to 1 year for anything beyond normal wear and tear. Bloomingdale’s does not want to take the issue up with Tory Burch.
Wow, totally unacceptable after one use. And made worse by Bloomies and Tory Burch not standing by their product. Absolutely right to bring this to all of your subscribers' attention. Hope it somehow gets resolved.
Amy, this is something that everyone needs to be aware of if they are considering a Tory Burch product. When the women in the boutique said next time buy it direct, I wanted to scream! What’s the difference where you buy their product? They should care about the customer getting good quality no matter what!
Oh no!!! That is horrible. How shameful they don’t actually stand by their product. I only own a pair of Tory Burch shoes, but I can assure you I don’t think I’ll ever consider getting a bag from them after this!
I am done with Tory Burch. It shouldn’t matter where something was bought. A defect is a defect. I am really disappointed. I’ll be going to Bloomingdale’s on Saturday to try to resolve this in person.
Hi Dawn, This is terrible. Your bag is clearly defective. Your frustration and anger is 100% justified. No company should treat its customers this way. I hope it gets resolved. Thanks for sharing. 🥰🌸
Dawn this is outrageous. I would definitely go to Bloomingdale’s with the bag. Also put Tory Burch on blast via their social media. I have several of her bags with no issue but I won’t take the chance anymore. I can’t afford to lose money like that. Shameful!
I’m not going to stop until this is resolved. I don’t use Facebook or Instagram and I doubt anyone from the company other than an intern is involved with their social media. That’s something they hire kids right out of college to run. I will never buy any of their products again.
@@dawnlovescouture2644 I’ve actually had some success with a facebook post but I get your point. I’m glad you’re not giving up. I’m absolutely stunned by Bloomingdale’s too.
Dawn, call Bloomingdales, and ask to speak to a supervisor. At the very least, they should give you a store credit. If the supervisor doesn't resolve the issue, ask to speak to the supervisor's supervisor. Go up the chain of command.
I am going to talk to whoever I can to get this resolved. Believe me, I’m not letting this rest! At this point I feel robbed! They need to make this right!
I‘m shocked, haven’t heard anything bad about Tory Burch before 😳 but I‘ll definitely stay away from them now! (Maybe if I find something for really cheap at the fleamarket - but definitely not going to buy new in store!). So sorry you had to experience that Dawn!
Stay far, far away! I have always said it’s overpriced. You can buy a luxury bag for not much more, but you know I love a deal, so when this went on sale I thought it would be a great bag for spring and summer. Unfortunately, it’s trash! I’m so angry and frustrated!
Oh wow that’s terrible! I’m glad you shared this bc I wanted to get the Fleming crescent and it’s a similar bag. I ended up ordering the Robinson. Please let us know the outcome ! ❤
I hope you have a better experience than I did! The Robinson is made with a different kind of leather. I think you’ll have better luck. I would stay away from Tory Burch altogether.
This just stinks. A company should stand behind their product. Period. Shouldn't matter where you got it from, or are they trying to say they outsource their not so nice?? Very frustrating.
@@debbieh9009 I would be very cautious, it’s the same leather. They discontinued this style Fleming and made it in a leather similar to Chanel’s caviar leather.
Oh no Dawn!!! 😩 That’s completely unacceptable! Both the quality and the customer service! If that bag is real leather, it should NOT be peeling like that. I can’t believe the response from both Tory AND Bloomingdale’s. Shame on them! I wouldn’t let it go - keep calling and emailing, tag them on social media until you get a response. As for the quality - it’s really sad to see how far downhill it’s gone. I have Tory bags and SLGs from years ago that have held up beautifully. I’m so sorry to see that they’ve sold you such a poor quality bag and they won’t do anything to fix the situation. I’ll definitely think twice before buying Tory again. Keep us updated Dawn!
I am going to Bloomingdale’s on Saturday. I talked to a rep today who said I should take it to the store and ask for a credit. Just the stress I have had to go through to contact anyone who can help makes me never want to deal with Tory Burch or Bloomingdale’s again.
I can't believe they aren't standing by their product. What's the point of paying that much for a bag then? Shame on Bloomingdale's for not taking that back too. They sold a diffective product. I would call Tory Burch and talk to the highest person you can get to at the company!
Tory Burch wants nothing to do with it! I’m going to Bloomingdale’s on Saturday. I’m hoping that it will be resolved. This is too much stress and effort over a bag!
I research a lot about different types of leather for purses and I did learn that this lambskin leather specifically to the Fleming for Tory Burch is very delicate therefore it will have scuffs before you even buy it. I saw many people post videos about it saying that it won’t last long and scuffs easily. It makes sense from the type of soft lamb leather that it is. I wouldn’t take a chance on this type of leather and style in Tory Burch purses. I would buy more known for more hardy type leather. Besides this point, of course Bloomingdale should give the refund even if it was over 30 days because that’s the kind of Customer Service big department stores and high-end stores stand behind. Great that they did actually give you at least store credit after the run around. Great you share this information 😀
Thank you! It was very soft, but totally useless if it will continue to peel. Bloomingdale’s should never have treated me the way that they did. I’m just happy to get my money back. Lesson learned!
You’re welcome! 🥰. I would not recommend this bag at all. I have had other Tory bags that were ok, but this was really horrible quality. Just based on their customer service I suggest avoiding them altogether.
Hi Dawn! I hate that this happened to you! It’s absolutely ridiculous! I really don’t understand why there is no such thing as customer service these days. You are definitely owed a credit. I’m glad you made this video. I really having been considering a bag from TB but now I don’t know. TFS ❤
That’s insane. I saw a tiktoker post the same rubbing and pealing issue. I have one bag from TB and used it once. I don’t have the same wear you have experience. However, my paper bag nicked it and now there is a nice small slice in the leather because I held them in the same hand 😢
I’m sorry to hear that! 😢. No leather should mark so easily. I heard about someone on TikTok with the same problem. I’m thinking TB is aware because they stopped making this bag in lamb skin. I’m still surprised that TB had no apologies.
I agree with others who have mentioned it....I wouldn't talk to anyone, at least at this point, than the manager of the store. No way I would accept their excuses for this handbag. Write a letter to corporate. No way I would back down on something so simple to resolve. Good luck Dawn.
I’m wondering if Bloomingdale’s gave you a used prior return? Someone used it messed it up then returned it within 30 days. I had that issue with Nordstrom twice and it was very obvious. When I left a review Nordstrom wouldn’t post it.
That’s very possible! The tag was attached though, it didn’t look like it was reattached after someone bought it, but who knows? I am just happy I got a refund.
That is horrible! I have one Tory Birch bag that I bought about 10 years ago at Nordstroms and I only used it a couple of times. However, it’s still in mint condition. I also bought a TB pebbled leather messenger bag from TRR a couple of years ago for my sister and she’s really enjoyed it and has used it quite a bit with no quality issues. Which makes me wonder with Chanel and other luxury brands having quality issues with their bags recently if it’s because these brands are cutting corners with materials and labor? Unfortunately this seems to be the trend with luxury bags lately and still they keep doing price increases. I have decided not to buy anymore full priced luxury bags and that vintage bags are the much better in quality, when you can find them. So sorry that you had to experience this Dawn. I hope it all works out for you.
Yes, they are all cutting corners where they can. I have been very lucky with Chanel and have never experienced poor quality. In fact, this is the second time I have ever really bought something that was so bad I had to return it (the first was a Coach Cassie that I bought from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in 2022). I love vintage bags and see a huge quality difference in how they are made and the materials used.
I’m so sorry you are having to deal with this problem. I have about 5-6 Tory Burch bags and the quality of all my bags have been great. Somebody should be helping you…how frustrating.
I’m really dumbfounded that they would keep passing the buck and for Bloomingdale’s to say it’s out of the return window despite Tory Burch’s alleged quality guarantee is totally unacceptable!
Hi Dawn-I have two Tory Butch bags, one purchased from directly from the website, and the other from a Tory Burch outlet. The third bag was purchased pre-loved. The price point on the new bags was in the $300 range. The used one was probably in the $400 range as a new bag. I haven’t had any issues, but mom having second thoughts about purchasing the Kira bag. I do think that Coach is a much more quality brand than Tory Burch. Thank you for posting this video!
Thanks for watching! 🥰. I’m glad you’ve had good experiences, but I would discourage anyone from buying their bags now. The quality of this bag is terrible.
Hi Deborah! 🥰. I returned it at Bloomingdale’s. The SA didn’t even look at it! I was just happy to get my money back. It’s a beautiful bag, but stay away!
I am so sorry this happened. So disappointing about the quality and the customer service. I have never had any quality issues thus far with Tory Burch items but I only own one bucket bag from them that I got on sale at Nordstrom. Please update us if you end up taking it to Bloomingdales.
That’s nuts Dawn I’m really sorry this has happened to you. Maybe, just maybe, I could understand them refusing to help you if you were a constant pain in the butt returning things every month , complaining and throwing the bags around in the store. What a joke. I’ve always thought about possibly getting a TB bag but now no thanks. Don’t need that headache and I know don’t either.
Thanks Jennifer! 🥰. That’s how I feel. I never return and I have had nothing to complain about until now. What a mess this is! I say stay far, far away from Tory!
File a claim with the better business bureau against Bloomingdale's. I couldn't get satisfaction with Dooney and Bourke and then I filed and they settled the next day
They sold you a returned bag!? I have this same bag in black and I should do a review on it after having it for a year bc the wear and tear on it is kinda bad.
Oh no! This is just terrible. I would dispute it this with your credit card. Most will assist you when there’s a problem with the product so soon after purchase. Hope this helps!
@@dawnlovescouture2644 Oooo interesting. It should still be backed by Visa 🤔 I’d try it and see if there’s a work around Bloomingdale’s corporate. Good luck!
Hi Dawn! It really stinks when companies do not stand by their products, especially when we pay a premium for them. So sorry this happened to you. Maybe you can go to bloomies and show them the bag in person. If you’re going to kop I would be happy to go with you.
I think I may have no choice but to do that! Willow Grove is the closest to me. I will probably go there and see if I get any response. I’m so frustrated!
Wow that's a shame that this happened. I do have my eye on a TB bag. So I guess I better purchase it from the actual store and not from another department store.....thanks for sharing your experience.
Better yet, don’t buy! Lynette, they are really awful to not stand by their product no matter where it was bought. I’ve never seen wear like this. My other Soft Fleming, the gray barrel, is fine. I had my eye on two other bags, and now I’m afraid! I’m going back to Bloomingdale’s today to hopefully get resolution.
I'm so sorry Dawn, I really hope you can get this resolved! I think I may have one Tory Burch bag I bought preloved. Otherwise I don't really like Tory Burch, now I really don't like them after their treatment of you!
Thanks Shelli! 🥰. It’s not a favorite for me, either. I always thought they were very overpriced for what they are. This is the first time I’ve really had any quality problems with a bag I’ve bought from any brand. It’s really awful.
Such a horrible experience! Shame on Tory Burch and shame on Bloomingdale’s! - I stopped buying Tory because I had a few bags with issues and for the prices added to it; I decided to not buy anymore. 😢
Sorry for your frustrations, that really sucks. I’ve never bought from Tory Burch before but I do like their bags. Hopefully you get some kind of help for this!
I love that bag and I was going to buy it from online in Australia. It is over AU$1300 and I wanted to watch reviews before I order. I'm glad that I watched your video. I'm not gonna buy that bag now. Thanks for your review.
Hi Jayden! 🥰. Wow! That’s incredible! I’m so glad that I could help! I would advise staying far, far away from this bag! I have been told by others in the comments that there have been problems with the leather and others have noticed also noticed peeling right after wearing it. It’s really a shame because it’s a beautiful bag, but not worth losing money over. Thanks for watching!
Such a bummer! Customer service and support is gone…. No way should that bag be showing wear for the money you paid. Hope Bloomingdale’s comes through for you.
Seriously! I have never had a bag show this much wear after a few years, let alone once! I hope they solve this. I can’t recommend this brand and I will never buy from them again!
Dawn, screw emailing.. call call CALL Bloomingdale’s! If one rep won’t help, hang up and call again until you get somebody that will! I hope you get your store credit. I’m sorry you’re dealing with such BS
I called again today and spoke to a very helpful rep that said to bring it back to Bloomingdale’s. I’m taking it back on Saturday and hoping for the best!
Hi Dawn, sorry to hear about this experience! I believe Bloomingdales has a 90 day return. Hopefully, you have the tags and receipts? Good luck, maybe it will be resolved?
I’m on the phone with them again. The rep said that it’s a 30 day return window for defective products. Otherwise it’s 90 days! Can you believe that???
@@dawnlovescouture2644 Insane! So you have to determine whether the leather is going to peel off before 90 days?? That’s crazy. The 90 day window shouldn’t even apply. The item is defective. Period. You’re probably talking to someone who is just reading from a script. Hopefully you’ll get someone who can apply some common sense and, at a minimum, issue you a store credit.
Hi Dawn this is infuriating and absolutely ridiculous which is why I don’t buy from TB her items have always been known for quality and customer service issues I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this if you’re unable to get satisfactory service maybe just have it dyed .💚💚💚💚Also Dawn are you returning the Gray TB papillon style bag you recently purchased?
Hi Craig! 🥰. Thanks for feeling my pain! I’m keeping the gray bag, that one is fine. I have actually had that on me longer than this bag and it’s perfect. I think the cream has problems with whatever they used to color the leather.
Always beware of a bag on sale! Every bag i ever purchased on sale has had something wrong with it. Edit to add also never buy bag from the shelf always ask for one from the back store room that never been touched by everyone in the store
I’ve had good luck buying on sale, but I do wonder if they knew this bag was defective and that’s why it went on sale. I was very shocked that this cream was a sale bag since it’s neutral. Usually only seasonal bags and colors go on sale.
Oh Dawn I'm so sorry - you loved that bag! I don't go near Tory Burch since reading that they allegedly had an issue with lead. Not a good company in my opinion. You have a track record at Bloomingdale's so I'm surprised at them too.😮But TB is the villain - quality issues that they don't make good. Your anger is completely justified.😕🥰🌻
I did love that bag and I was excited to use it. I never heard about lead! OMG! They really should be ashamed. They want to present themselves as a high end brand, but it’s far from that.
Hello beautiful lady....im so sorry you're going thru this...in my opinion Toryburch leather is trash...i had about 4 Kira shoulder bags and as soon as i wore it the corners started to peel and rub off after one or two wears...i sold 2 of them that i didn't wear and promised myself i would never buy another Toryburch as long as i live!praying you can get to some resolution soon!
Oh wow! I’m so sorry you had to experience this, too! I don’t even think I could sell this, who would want it with this much wear? It’s really a disgrace.
Hi Dawn- Im been a long time sub of Yota, Winnie and autumn. I cannot believe I’m just now subscribed. I watch your videos all the time. Saying all that to say I love this color way and would love to take this off your hands. Let me know how much you like to let it go. I can take it to a leather person to fix to issue. Thanks and don’t be too sad 😊
Really??? Wow! I would be happy to sell it, but I feel terrible to sell something with damage on it! My email is in my description box. Email me and we can talk.
Hi Dawn, I'm so sorry this happened to you. Is it something you can address through the card company you purchased with?I also had a quality issue with a TB bag that I purchased from Nordstrom. TB was also not able to address my issue, but thankfully Nordstrom has great customer service and a generous policy, and accepted a return.
Have you spoken with a Bloomies department manager or store manager? I would raise holy heck with them until they refunded my money. It seems as though more and more brands are having quality issues lately. I don’t know, but I wonder if manufacturers are using subpar materials to be environmentally friendly? Good luck!
I’m going to take it in and have them look at it. I think the problem is that all of these companies are doing whatever they can to cut corners and maximize profits. It’s really a shame because I feel like I can get better quality at Target. This is really terrible to have an item priced at close to $700 with quality this poor.
Bloomies is to blame and should be held accountable. Bloomingdales is contracted to sell Tory's bags so they are supposed to fix your bag or issue a refund. TB loses money by fixing a bag or giving credit for a bag they sold to Bloomies. Sorry your bag is ruined but that's why I personally dont purchase white or cream colored bags from any brand because scratches or color transfer will show. My Tory bags are of great quality and I have had no issues so far. I will note I have Chanel bags with color transfer and marks so it can happen with any bag.
Bloomie’s did take the bag back. The SA didn’t ask for an explanation or even look to see what was wrong. That bag started to peel hours after wearing it. Absolutely, color transfer can happen with any bag. You have to be very careful. It seems there was a problem with this particular leather on the Flemings because TB stopped making this style with the soft lamb skin and switched to a caviar leather.
I’m going on Saturday as suggested by the rep I spoke to yesterday. I never think about return policies when I buy something because it’s very rare that I need to make a return. I generally feel that Nordstrom has the best customer service.
Oh, Dawn. How terrible. I’d certainly never buy from TB or Bloomingdale’s again. What horrible customer service from both of them. I hope you get some satisfaction.❤ They are on my “no” list, for sure!❤
This is a very disappointing experience, Dawn. US$400 is a lot of money to spend on a handbag that seems to be defective. But because you bought it from Bloomingdale's, they will have to rectify the situation. My hope is that they will issue a store credit. If not, perhaps they will offer an exchange.
Dawn sorry to hear about your bag. In my opinion the villain here is Blommingdales. If Tory knows what best they should cease having their bags sold there. I ordered once a Tory from Bloomies and the bag looked like it was plucked from the warehouse floor (I have a video on that). I dread buying from Bloomingdales. I suspect your bag was near some faulty air or something to create that dried leather peel. Tory does say on their website you have to go thru the store of purchase. Marc Jacobs is the same on their website. The middle man needs to take accountability for what they sell you. Retailers need to be held accountable and designers are not going to intervene. I am sure that bag was sold in amazing quality from Tory. I have purchased 3 bags directly from Tory and no disappointments. Anyway sorry for the long post, just wanted to share. I would stand ground with Bloomingdales and demand and insist they make it right. Wishing you the best!
Thank you! 🥰. I’m going to look for your video. I’m going to take it to Bloomingdale’s on Saturday. I will never order another Tory Burch or buy a bag from Bloomingdale’s again!

I’ve had the same experience with Tory Burch bags. I had one even for a year and I contacted them and they let me return it. Other bag that started peeling, they let me return as well. In my experience I had a good experience but I bought from Tory Burch.
They should do the same with their product no matter where it was bought. It’s their bag!
Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛
It really is! If they don’t want to honor their guarantee, they shouldn’t sell to department stores, who they refer to as “wholesalers”.
Marc Jacobs told me no returns and/or help if you buy from them. I am not sure what is happening.
@@meminionru What??? That’s so wrong!!!!
There’s no way that bag isn’t a reject. I will never buy any of their products again.
I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, Dawn. I’m hoping Bloomingdales will come through and offer you a store credit at least. I have two TB bags and now I’m afraid to bring them out. Please keep us updated, I’m hoping for a satisfactory resolution. 💕
Thanks Sandy! 🥰. I just want the credit. I shouldn’t be stuck with a bag that I will never use since it looks worse than bags I have had for a decade.
Yikes! That totally sucks, it really is a shame when brands want to charge premium prices for subpar products. 😒
Tory Burch wants to be seen as a luxury brand. They are not. They just want to make a sale and wash their hands of it.
Oh Dawn! I'm so sorry you have to deal with such an unpleasant experience. You would think Tory Burch would want to stand by their bag and get a repeating customer. So sad. Sending best wishes and hoping for a positive update.
Thank you! 🥰. It’s shocking that they won’t made good on it! So frustrating!
When we buy luxury bags is to feel GOOD not to be trash so sad experience
Tory Burch only thinks she makes luxury goods. This is a glorified Charming Charlie’s reject.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I had no idea that Tory Burch wouldn’t take care of the bag if it’s bought someone else
I didn’t either. I don’t know why it would make a difference.
Thank you for this very informative video! Wow...... just really sad on the lack of customer service.
It is, Missy. It’s just awful how little they care.
They should be ashamed! I can not believe the way they talked to you! I don’t have a Tory Burch bag and now I will not buy one either! Thank you for sharing this with us,Dawn.🙏🏻🥰
I totally agree! 🥰. They should be ashamed and at least care about their reputation, both Bloomingdale’s and Tory Burch!
I hate being ripped off! It is so frustrating that you know you have a defective bag and nobody will do anything about it.
Me too! And this surely was a ripoff! If I bought it at Target for $20, I feel pretty confident that they would have taken it back!
Sorry to hear about your bag nightmare. I hope they fix it for you soon. Hang in there! Great channel and thanks for sharing! 😊😊
Thanks so much! 🥰. People need to be aware that this can happen. I would never buy anything from Tory Burch again.
Nooooo! That is a quality issue! They should do something about this!
I totally agree, Linda! 🥰. Neither Bloomingdale’s nor Tory Burch wants to help.
I hope so, too! 🥰. I’m going to bring it to Bloomingdale’s on Saturday. Hopefully it will be resolved.
@@beth-d9 I am too, Beth!
You know, that’s what it seems like! Either way, they made and sold a bad product and I shouldn’t have to be stuck with it!
Gosh...i almost pulled the trigger on the Soft Fleming Drawstring tote just a couple of hours ago. Now im wondering if i should?
Absolutely 👍 makes sense !
WOW! Thanks so much for sharing about the peeling. I was wondering about this brand
TFS ❤
Don’t do it, Raelle!!! They are poor quality and overpriced. Just knowing that you might run into problems with them is enough to make me say no!
@@dawnlovescouture2644 I won’t more than likely! I hope your video reaches masses it’s a good one!
It looks like a thin layer of leather painted on. 😳
Yes! And if you look, you can see where it’s rippling.
Thank you for sharing!
You’re welcome! 🥰. Just be careful!
Resolution found! Thank you and stay tuned! 🥰
Squeaky wheel always wins! You go girl! Go to Bloomingdale’s!!!
I think I have to or nothing will get done!
You have reaffirmed my decision to not spend the money on TB bags. I’m sorry this happened to you and thank you for making this video.
Never! Stay away! I will do an update regarding what happens!
I was thinking of buying the TB Diamond quilt bag but after seeing what happened to you I’ve changed my mind. I hope you get a store credit!
Hi Deborah!
I will absolutely do an update! I’m hoping that this will be resolved on Saturday. Fingers crossed!
I couldn't get satisfaction with Dooney and Bourke and then I filed and they settled the next day
That’s a great idea! 🥰. If I don’t have a resolution when I bring it back in an attempt to settle this, I will do that!
Wow that’s so disappointing Dawn. I only have 1 Tory Burch bag and really not a huge fan anyways. That’s a lot of money for them to act that way. 😢.
It really is!!! It’s outrageous!
They sold you a returned bag!? I have this same bag in black and I should do a review on it after having it for a year bc the wear and tear on it is kinda bad.

Hi Dawn, sorry to hear about this experience! I believe Bloomingdales has a 90 day return. Hopefully, you have the tags and receipts? Good luck, maybe it will be resolved?
I bought it in a Bloomingdale’s card and I was told it’s 30 days. The customer service rep I spoke to said it’s outside of the return window.
Their website reads 90 days for returns, but I wonder if 30 days is the case for handbags?
The fact no one is trying to help you is crazy. That’s maddening. Sorry this is happening - it's unacceptable.
Period. Hi Craig! 🥰. Thanks for feeling my pain! I’m keeping the gray bag, that one is fine. I have actually had that on me longer than this bag and it’s perfect. I think the cream has problems with whatever they used to color the leather.
Can you dispute the purchase with your credit card company? Meaning does your credit card have a warranty on purchases made?
I used a Bloomingdale’s card.

I have had 4 tb bags now i have 0, that is super bag customer service
It’s NO customer service! They don’t want to bother with it at all!
Keep calling blooming and ask for a manager !!! (Going fwd only but from Nordstrom they have the best return policy ! )?
I’m going on Saturday as suggested by the rep I spoke to yesterday. I never think about return policies when I buy something because it’s very rare that I need to make a return. I generally feel that Nordstrom has the best customer service.
I have two Tory Burch bags the quality is not there for the price you pay. I stay away now.
It’s terrible, Laurie! They are not willing to stand behind their product. It’s terrible quality!
Oh, Dawn. How terrible. I’d certainly never buy from TB or Bloomingdale’s again. What horrible customer service from both of them. I hope you get some satisfaction.❤ They are on my “no” list, for sure!❤
I wouldn’t have thought that either would be so poor and so callous. I’m really beside myself. Yes, stay far, far away!!!
This is a very disappointing experience, Dawn. US$400 is a lot of money to spend on a handbag that seems to be defective. But because you bought it from Bloomingdale's, they will have to rectify the situation. My hope is that they will issue a store credit. If not, perhaps they will offer an exchange.
All I want is a store credit. I’m going there on Saturday. I’m hoping they will take the return.
@@dawnlovescouture2644 It is a hit a miss with them. I gave them a second chance with an MK bag. But yeah very weary buying another Tory from them. Good luck!
@@PSAPublicShoppingAddict Thank you!!!
Wow. Come on. They can do better then that. They just brushed it off. I would call Tory back and ask for the reginal manager or get the name and email. They should have replaced it at least
I tried every which way, they weren’t willing to do anything. They pretty much said they weren’t responsible since it was bought at a department store. No apologies, no nothing!
That is so wrong! I don’t have Tory Burch and won’t have it now!!
Stay away, Cheryl! And stay away from Bloomjngdale’s!!!
Send it back to TB, that bag is too expensive for peeling material.😮
I did!!! Update coming! 🥰
Bloomingdales should give you a credit!! Did you take it to the store so they see it in person? You’re a great customer, they should give you the credit no questions asked! Please let us know how it goes. Good luck! 🍀 💙👍💪
Hi Diane! 🥰. I’m taking it I. Saturday. I talked to a rep who said they should accept the return. Fingers crossed! I will absolutely do an update!
@@dawnlovescouture2644 Great! You can do it 👍. BTW, I’m in Paris doing a little shopping 👜 & will take your advice about asking the SA’s about the VAT tax & the prices. Wish me luck 🍀!
If you purchased on a credit card go and dispute it through your credit card company
I used a Bloomingdale’s card.
If you purchased on a credit card, then dispute it through the credit card company
It’s a Bloomingdale’s card.
Disgraceful customer service from Tory Burch and Bloomingdale’s. The brand should stand by their merchandise. Sorry for your experience.
It really is disgraceful! Absolutely no concern for customer satisfaction.
Their quality is goig downhill. I have a few and one of them I have worn twice and the leather is peeling also! I think thats a wrap for me with them.
I can’t blame you at all! I recently heard they are changing the leather to a caviar type leather. I did think it was very strange that a basic color went on sale. I should have known something was up! Thanks for watching! 💕
Did you try taking the bag into Bloomingdale’s with the receipt and ask to speak with a manager? That’s what I would do! Maybe they’ll at least give you store credit.
@@erical7051 I did eventually take it back and the SA didn’t even look at it. There’s a part 2 video with the rest of the story.
@@dawnlovescouture2644 oh gosh I didn’t even look at the post date of this video 😂. I’m so sorry you’ve had such a hard time with it!
