Good review. I have an MG4 standard, and find it fun to drive. Quite peppy, pretty comfortable, fairly quiet, pretty agile and good turning circle. I agree with the quirks.
When you exit the car, you can lock it using the remote or the button on the car door, and then open the trunk. The car detects the remote and unlocks the trunk. This way, the AC, radio, etc are switched off.
You forgot to mention that both displays are too bright at night, even in their lowest setting. The central display can be switched off for night driving.
This is more of a daily car, that can still be used occasionally for longer trips.

I have this car. It does have vanity mirrors. It also has heated wing mirrors (thought it's true you have to fold them manually).
A/C does not turn on in my car when I change the temperature on the HVAC.
Temperature, you just have to set it where it's comfortable and ignore the actual numbers. At a guess you're getting 5ºC less than the number you select. Doesn't matter. Heats up fine.
Moral of the story. There are a lot of different versions out there, and some of these things have already been fixed with software updates. Depends on the market the car is made for, and the software versions.
    It's a great car.

Charging a car which takes one fase on a three fase 11 kW charger always ends up with chargerate at 3max 3, 7 kW (3,7x 3=11). To reach 6,7 kW on one fase requires 32 A, three fase and a one-fase charging cable that takes 7 kW.

Correction: you can set the battery charging limits from within the car. Idem for battery heating. Also, the AC doesn't switch on when you open the car door, only when you sit on the seat. Obviously, if you're pre-heating the car before getting in then it would already be on - but only for 10 minutes (cabin preheat switches off after that if the car is still locked).

Sounds very similar to the experience I just had with the BYD Attos - which was....well in heavy wether long distance - not the right car for it. This one looks better though

wait what? the AC turns on for 5 min just because the door was open? well that sucks for anyone trying to camp with this car. i always get annoyed by cars that feel the need to light up the cabin and unfold the mirrors when the car gets unlocked and guess what: this is worse. 5 min of heathing being on in freezing temperatures can burn like 0,5kWh in some cars. also, yes, 11kW onboard charger should be an option even on the "small" battery. 3.7kW could work for me on a daily basis but if there is a public charger near a place i am visiting, faster is always is better.

Might be an particular issue between your home charger and car or LFP battery related. I have the Trophy model and I am charging at 6.4 kw. It is cold where I am but not as cold as where you are. If it is the LFP battery related that is interesting. It is known that LFP does not handle cold weather so well.

6 kW on 3 phase AC?

      @@BatteryLife No, single phase

Chris has a three-phase charger of 16 amps, so it is normal that his maximum charging speed is about 3 KW, since a single-phase charger is installed in the car. If it had a 32 amp charger, it would charge with 6 KW..

@@Z.o.r.a.n @BatteryLife It might be worthwhile checking the charging setiings on the MG4. It could be set to 16 amp. If it is try setting it to AC current.

Do you not turn the intelligent battery heating on?
I agree I don’t think there’s electric heated mirrors - it says they only work when the rear window dentist is on but it doesn’t .

you have extrapolated it too optimistically - the car said that you'll have only 33 km left, and you have driving far from target speed at the end.

120 miles. Not bad for Winter, and LFP battery.
