- I just took a ride on a train that runs through a residential area in Hiroshima Prefecture, similar to a roller coaster.
I took a ride in commemoration since it's about to be discontinued soon

I'm so glad you took us on this ride before it's gone! It would be sad to never experience this lovely little travel capsule, suspended and gliding through the air. It's a shame that it has to go. 😢 It would be neat if someone salvaged these and put them as a ride around a Safari park or something! Thank you for taking on this journey! See you next time!
Thank you so much for showing me something I will NEVER see or ride. I live in California, I’m 75 and bed ridden that’s why I say I’ll never see or ride it. But you gave us a wonderful video of the ride up and down this rail system. Thank you so much!
oh lol I did not expect to hear German during the okonomiyaki part 🤣
You may not be the only one who make travel content in this manner, but you do it in a way that I like - unobtrusive travel is what I call your content. Love it!
OMG YES! This video has come at the perfect time since I'll be in Hiroshima in less than a week!! The dream is coming true everyone... I hope you all get the opportunity to visit beautiful Japan in your future. Let's respect Japanese culture and be good travellers. And to our dear Japanese friends I say this... We travellers may make mistakes from time to time because there is a lot to learn and your culture is very different from ours, but for 99.99% of tourists no harm is meant! Most of us spend 100s of hours watching videos just like this one before we come to try to minimise our impact and grasp the way things are done. We appreciate the understanding and help and we look forward to spending lots of our money with great local businesses!
Thank you for showing us the many WONDERS of you beautiful country.
Beautiful views the town below is very well cared for. The food looked delicious, thanks again for sharing this journey 😘✌️
Since EJ appeared in my feed I’ve watched many Asian travel vlogs. EJ remains among the best, from sound, to shot quality, humor and subject matter.
That was altogether lovely...the ride, the vista, the neighborhood, the tram. I wasn't at all aware of the regional okonomiyaki rivalry! You taught me a lot. Thank you!
what a beautiful city
"Arrived at Hiroshima" - I had to laugh at the kid on the floor lol!
Thank you for sharing this! We will remember the ride! 😊
It's sad to see the Hiroshima Skyrail close down. It was fun to ride and an excellent place to take pictures for family and friends at home. (I had a friend who lived in Midorichuo.) It was nice to see it again, and a shame I will never get to ride it again, when I return to Japan.
Like you said looks like a Rollercoaster, but a train. The view was beautiful from the train. I'm sorry that they are discontinued the train. I love seeing Japan in the way you show it.Thank you for the video. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is the Sky Rail transportation system in Hiroshima.
Beautiful scenery from the gondola ride. Feels so refreshing enjoying the view. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for taking us on another adventure, EJ! ❤
I love the video.Thank you for sharing with us your beautiful adventures.
Thanks for this amazing video.
Since 1901 a similar public transportation system exists in one German city: the „Schwebebahn“ in Wuppertal. The literal translation would be hovering street car and that is exactly what it is. A whole streetcar with several cars hanging from a rail perched over the small river Wupper by that getting the transportation of people off the streets of the narrow valley.
