Today we present a video that took us a long time to work on. This video is something that is special to J of Team AJ as she is a huge Elvis Presley fan. In this video, we give a full tour of the home that is known as Graceland. In this Ultimate V.I.P Experience tour, we had a amazing tour guide Kristin that showed us most of the Graceland Estate. The Tour even includes an extra special building that is only for people on the Ultimate V.I.P Experience!

My parents met Elvis during the Seattle World's Fair in 1962. He was very gracious to them.

There’s actually a story why we didn’t get into detail with the costumes because we are going to be back to Graceland soon. We’re going to go back and finish filming it in detail that part of the museum and we’re going do that in a separate video. We also are going to his birth place in the next few months. So there will definitely be some more Elvis coming to the channel. We had media rights but we also had to get back to Nashville to go see my father so that’s why we are definitely going to be back we do go to Tennessee often. This place has changed soo much over the years. It does seem like a theme park now. I went with my father when i was a little girl and it first opened, Vernon was living there, and I do believe an aunt was living there as well, and the pool house behind the house was being lived in or used by the family. I don't think I like how blown up it is now, but maybe they had to do that to keep it relevant??

P.s When we went to Graceland after it opened, there were 2 of Elvis horses still there and they said one of his favorites was there named "Sunshine" and it was a white and yellowish horse at the time

Thank you for posting this, my husband and l were there on our honeymoon 32 years ago in 1990, his aunt was still living in the house. Boy it's change Elvis will be please and Happy that his Baby is in his arm again in heaven, watch the memorial very sad that Lisa-Marie is gone.

Yes please! Kristin was Amazing! We have gone on a number of different tours of many places and I can honestly say that she is in the top 2 Guides we have ever had. The only other one that was on her level or even close was the one for our New Orleans Graveyard tour, which the full video is coming soon! He was wonderful as well! Shout out to Thorn from Haunted History Tours New Orleans! Anyways we love Kristin and we still talk to her to this day and we want her for our tour this year!

We love us some Kevin Smith, as a matter of fact, We did a short based on Clerks and the quick stop. In New Orleans, someone actually took an old abandoned convenience store and did a parody of Jay and Silent Bob standing in front of the Quick Stop. Anyways, We will go check out that podcast, should be great! Snoochie Boochies!

I was there for the first time this past October for my anniversary and my husband got us the VIP tour and I loved it so much I got to touch the guitar and I brought the gloves home also I got some leaves from the stable area and yes I did ask our tour guide if I could and he said I don’t see why not so I did

I am 66 years of age and I am in the Midwest of the USA, my sister and I would sit so close to the TV as we called them then, to watch Elvis beach girls Beach boys movies we just loved him dearly, all my life I wanted to go to Graceland, realistically I don't think I'll be able to make it now at this time in my life, I said that to say this, thank you so very much for giving me and the world the opportunity to visit Graceland and to see the home that our dearly beloved Elvis Presley lived, it is an honor and a pleasure. Rest in power to the Presleys family.

i dont think Elvis closed that space up. it was probably the family that put up that wall so that people dont take pictures of the upstairs. plus the door by the stairs is also sealed shut for that same reason
We were told by our tour guide that it was closed by Elvis as he did not want anyone visiting to see up there.

I think Graceland has become more like a theme park like Disneyland without the rides, or like Universal Studios. I oftem wonder in generations to come when the memory of Elvis fades away as times and generatins change, what will happen to Graceland and all the surrounding attractions. Where will the money come from to keep the upkeep going?
This has turned into being all about the all mighty dollar bill and less and less about Elvis every day.

On the idea that Graceland is becoming more theme park like. Jennifer was a Graceland vet and the first thing we both thought was that this was becoming more of a theme park type atmosphere. What is funny is that the more that we thought about it. We thought that may be what is best to preserve his legacy and his importance in Pop Culture. It is this experience, between the The Home itself, the hotel, and the museum space. Then adding on the Tupelo based experiences, with the park, the museum, and other attractions there. We think the idea is to introduce Elvis to a new generation of fans. Even in this video, our Tour Guide became a fan of Elvis Presley because of the movie Lilo and Stitch. We a think that the latest Elvis movie will help create a new Generation of fans that will keep the attractions like Graceland alive and popping for many generations to come!

Honestly, We doubt that would have been possible when it comes to Michael Jackson's home of Neverland. The controversy that surrounds that place and the activity that was alleged to be going on there, puts a bad mark on that location. At least, that is how we see it!

The Jackson family would have to initiate that and the controversy woundn't be a hindrance. There has been a lot of controversy surrounding Elvis over ther years and it had no bearing on Graceland tiurs. MJ continues to have millions of loyal fans. Remember he was never convicted of a crime. In actuallity controversy often fuels the fire of curiosity. I love all of you videos and will continue to watch EVERYTHING you guys put out. Yes do you have to be on the ultimate VIP tour in order to purchase them. It was $500.00. When you go in the special room that’s when they offer it to you.

Are we able to see planes or cars on this tour?
Yes when you go across the street after the house tour you can go and see those. We had the ultimate VIP tour everything was included.

Does the Ultimate VIP tour include the gravesites or do you have to go your own early mornings ?
Hello, Every tour that Graceland provides will include being able to see the Gravesites. If you would to like to see just the Gravesites, and for free. You can go there early in the morning and see the Gravesites for free for an hour. That way Graceland is still in compliance with TN. laws!

As for your question, I use a program/app Called Davinci Resolve for my PC and it is also on Mac and IPAD! INCLUDING a guitar that was owned by him and the guitar he was going to use while he was on the tour that was planned, before he died. Are you going back now that Lisa Marie has died?
We would like to say thank you for watching. We were planning to go back this year before the news of her untimely death. So with that said, we will most definitely be doing a follow up to this video and the Part 2 follow up as well.Also we have a much better camera, for still shots, so we can take much better pictures. Good news is that we are only a 5 hour trip from there, so we can do it over a weekend as well!
Do you get to touch the items in the closet as well as the guitar with the Ultimate VIP tickets?
You only get to touch the Guitar. We did not get to touch the Items in the Closet at all. We were more than fine with that, as just the opportunity to see that extra part of the tour that is only for Ultimate V.I.P members was awesome! Why can’t take videos?
They are extremely strict with filming and it is hard to get media rights. Even with permission you can’t film inside at all and some things across the street at the museum . No exception. We were blessed to be able to do a small amount of filming with permission. 🙏

First of all, thank you for watching! Sorry that the video wasn’t up to your standards. Thank you for the criticism, we appreciate it! This video was actually four months into our RUclips career! If you watch our current videos, you would see how much we improved and how far we’ve come! So yes some of the photos were blurry, but the info other than one thing about the TCB necklace (Which we address above, in a different comment) Was pretty accurate. We know it was accurate because it was total us by one of the best tour guides that Graceland has On staff! As far as the English language is concerned, we all make mistakes and we’re all trying to learn how to become better at our jobs!
