Hard work but those are some tough men on the oars. This was an amazing voyage by Tim Severn and his crew. He may have just passed away the other day, God rest his soul but he did fully live his life.
This route would be an interesting R2AK type of event. If you threw in mountain climbing at both ends, (Olympus and Elbrus) you’d have quite an event. Makes you wonder if Tim Severin will one day, a generation or two from now, be a household name, as renowned as Thor Heyerdahl is today.
